This is the goal. I’ll probably never play a stadium show for 15,000 people. I became a musician at 25, the odds are against me. But a local venue for 150 people with this kind of energy? I could die happy.
@@Saparasa I’ve played a couple of open mic nights, and one set with my newly formed cover band for a crowd of about 50 people. It’s a start for sure, and I’m grateful for every opportunity. Unfortunately I’ve been really sick the last two months and unable to go out or do much of anything, but hopefully we can do more soon.
@@mschrage618 Hey that's a great start. I have a similar goal and experience of being long term sick, I hope you get better and carry on practicing as soon as you feel you can.
@@mschrage618 if you've got some original music make sure to record it and post in on streaming platforms! Helps to get traction and potential fans something to listen too :)
@@carolinecoy3164 I agree that their new stuff is good, but I think what this person meant was that the concert itself was way more chaotic than it is now (which isn't just because of the band, times are changing) and it looks more like a party than a concert lol
I think it is a respect thing he was allowing them on the stage, and letting them sing on the microphone. So the fans appreciate the trust, and in return the fans will be nice (well usually nice).
I love how the fans just jump on stage and he doesn't be rude about it. He smiles, lets them tackle him, and lets them sing. This is how performers should be.
And Justin Bieber crys like a beebzy wwebzy when someone even just keeps a single foot on his stage bigger than ever. Oliver Skyes is a gift to music...
+Yannick Lehoux but as they grow so does the distance from the crowd, look at this these people are jumping and being friends. Now a days they don't have that connection
God bless Oli Sykes (in a completely atheistic way). This is how fans should be treated. So many performers would've immediately called for security when fans got on stage, but Oli trusts us. He trusts his fans to not hurt and attack him and in return for our respect, we get to be a part of a show on an unprecedented level. Love this man
He always used to be so nuts, at all of his concerts he encouraged this time of behaviour. What a shame that they doesn't make this type of club concerts anymore.
Yeah but people nowadays are crazier then before, for all we know someone could stab him these days because they would be jealous or have a mental illness which would want to stab him in the name of love, the past seemed better.
My biggest regret is how I could have gone to one of these concerts and I never did, because they played in my city. Looking back now, I wish I went there, now I'm old looking nack on these old videoes wishing I did. You young people, my advice is, go to concerts, because you will one day look back on these videos and wish that you did.
I love how people were climbing up the stage and nobody minded it, they just acted naturally, like some big family. I smiled all the time watching this, it's amazing. im going to an One Directon concert in 3 months, and I bet that if the same happened on that concert people would all make a big deal out of it.. I love these concerts were everybody is like a big family. ^-^
+eduardo ramirez true, this is probably the best live vocal performance I've seen from him. And even still, there's a few times where he just throws the mic to the crowd lol.

I really don't see why BMTH receives so much hate... They're hard working, they have a feeling in their music, you can really hear they enjoy playing! And on the top of that, they have a unique and amazing sound!
i'd kill to go back to these days, when this genre was at it's peak, and MYSPACE was still a thing. i met many great people on myspace. wish i could come in contact with some of them...
Angel Del Prado he blew his voice twice and his doc told him not to scream so dont expect BMTH to go heavy ever again they said the new album will be even softer
Just saw these guys at Riverstage in Brisbane for their Australian tour with Sleep Token. Crazy to think how much can change in 14 years and how good they still are
I miss small venues so much, just nut to butt, everyone having a good time,if you didn't wanna be in the pit you still were, getting on stage with the bands, jumping off stage, going to hangout with them in between sets, bottles being passed around rip small venues
i feel old lol, i remember when this video came out..... myspace honestly was so great, for those who experienced it are the only ones who truly know how good it was, far above facebook. i met so many great people from all over the world, some of which im still in touch with..... myspace should have never died.
Oli is so nice for just ignoring the girl and not punching her in the face
IKR
jajajjaajjaja xD
Christina Sparks they are such cool people
She deserved a punch, get off the fucking stage dont just stand there the whole fucking song
wait, who did that again?

What do you say now ?:(
2:18 I love how Oli gives the mic to the guy in front, he says a line, then gives it back. So sick and respectful.
it would definitely still happen.
it's an aussie thing

I mean, this used to be THE thing…it’s almost why we would go. He was so good to all of us. The whole band was really. I want this back so bad…
@tetsusiega2 Unfortunately as the band became more mainstream, it was always inevitable that we'd see less of that

Mary Mortician he wouldn’t do this now they’ve made it massive 😂
So Caresmatic and fun, unlike some hardcore vocalist that push fans off stage for no reason, he invites them on stage and dances with them.

i love how he interacts with the crowd so much, it makes them apart of the song and the show even more, and it makes it even more insanely epic
They need another concert like this, where we all just fucking party like the Chelsea smile music video.
this show looks so fun omg
GOD! I WOULD KILL TO HAVE BEEN THERE. Olie was haveing so much fun, the crowd was involved, that looked so killer
Look how involved they were with with the crowd... and now there's signs forbidding people to even speak to them.
