I actually dated a man whose last name was Hepburn. His family had research completed and it was discovered they are direct descendants of Lord Bothwell. Last name Hepburn.
I was watching Family Feud, the question was name one of Henry V111 wives, this feller buzzes in and said "Queen Victoria", I was drinking a cup of tea I nearly choked on it, I enjoy the stories about Mary Queen Of Scots, I'm a decendent of hers.
my great grandfather x12 was Sir James Balfour of Pittendriech and was one one of Mary's secretary's/advisors. It seems treachery and murder was one of his great skills for he was implicated in the assasination of Lord Darnley and assisted Bothwell to intercept and 'kidnap' and marry Mary. How Balfour kept his head on his shoulders while many lost theirs is nothing short of a mystery to me. Despite excelling in murder and treachery, i believe he went on to be involved in the writings of Scots Law
Simply as people make videos and give out incorrect information and people who don't know history swallow it. The two Queen Mary's were first cousins once removed and riled at same time MQOS 1542 Mary Tudor 1553
Mary Queen of Scots was a 6ft tall strong lithe Ethiopian genotype. The lace bonnet design was actually a braided hairstyle. The truth is beginning to see daylight.
Hi.. youngest British monarch? 😬 I can almost hear my Scottish dad spinning in his grave 😂 But no, Britain wasn't formed then so i guess you mean that in a modern sense?
She was Scottish born in Scotland in December 1542 to James V of Scotland and his french Queen Marie De Guise. Through her mother she was French but through her father she was Scottish. She was Queen of Scots in her own night but not the first as commonly believed. Margaret Maid of Norway was the first Queen of Scots to reign from 1292-96 died on her way to Scotland in Orkney. The actual first Queen in her right was Gruoch wife of King Macbeth but she did not rule as Queen, she was Queen Consort 1040-57.
He probably did, although at the time of his death, he had recently been in a battle against the English and his side lost. It was afterwards that he took to his bed and died.

Such a sad story

Concerning what he did to my cousin Mary and her husband, I wouldn’t broadcast that information. My 13x’s great aunt was Mary de Guise (Mary’s mother)

Bullshit
You sound like you're fighting a cold. Hope you recover well ❤

I also thought Bloody Mary and Mary, Queen of Scots were the same person. Thank you for this clarification.
Tumultuous and tragic life.
Great story,very interesting
Oh, for goodness sake! How on earth could anyone with an interest in history get Mary Queen of Scots mixed up with Mary 1 (Bloody Mary))!!!
I suppose that’s the problem with having so many girls named Mary lmao 🤣

I never understood this. How can a queen be executed without any consequences. I mean she is a QUEEN

Well if you want to be really pedantic she wasn’t Scottish either she was french. She spoke French and with a French accent. Her ladies were french.
@manmaje3596 well not really she was born in Scotland regardless of where she was brought up.
@@manmaje3596She was raised in France, but she was born in Scotland of Scottish royal parents.

That was unnecessarily harsh.
