Wow. Out of every companion, only Kharlach and Astarion are actually willing to not full-stop blame you for killing Alfira. It's understandable that no one would WANT to trust the loon who ritualistically murdered someone right next to them, but I can appreciate that they're response aligns with 'We all need to watch each other's backs to make sure this doesn't happen again'. Especially Astarion, since he's the only one who seems to acknowledge that -- if this is the worm -- any one of them could wake up as an unwitting murderer. They're both wrong, but if those reactions don't solidify Redemption Urge romance material, what does?
That's a good point! Didn't really realize the others just accused Durge and warned Durge that they'd be watching. I also do like how angry Karlach is about it because it's very in-character. Lae'zel's spoon line is my favorite, though. I can just imagine her taking away Durge's spoons for a while after this.
i can only ever get shadowheart to react no matter whos recruited, whos in my party, whos even present in camp. not really that big a deal but annoying nonetheless
How do you get karlach to react? I’ve tried to get her before the event happens but it’s seems to bug due to mizora coming to camp. Her and wyll act like nothing even happened.
Does she not react even if she's the only one in your party when it happens? I noticed Shadowheart and Astarion take priority during this, so if you had them in your party, they'll likely speak instead of Karlach. If she's not reacting when she's your only party member, you could try to get rid of Wyll instead of recruiting him. If she does react, then it's definitely him bugging her out.
@@ElderSnowball I just remembered that it may not actually matter who's in your party because Astarion seems to chime in regardless. It's probably why I only had each specific companion recruited when I made the video. However, I have heard Karlach speak up even with Astarion butting in, so it's still possible that Wyll is messing that up for you.
