I like the detail that Withers knows about your "Urge".
i saw alot of spoilers about him so i want to have a taste of his wisdom myself
I'd bloody well hope he'd know a lot about it, since he's partly responsible for it even existing!
@@jimstoesz3878dude really dropped the ball when he let bhaal become a god.
Durge: oops
Everyone except Astarion: keep your distance, creep
Astarion: we're cool but be more subtle next time, darling
"Covered in blood"
> completly clean
normal evening for De dark Urge 😂
I noticed that alfira will talk to you when you use speak with dead, but otherwise it wont work when you speak with dead someone you killed. Corpses arent fond of their killers, and yet, you can speak with alfira’s. Oversight, or subtle nod?
Alfira isn't the only one this applies to, you can use the spell on the hag after killing her and she'll answer your questions. I don't know the exact lore of the spell but I'm assuming there's just some exceptions to the "corpses won't speak to their killers" rule. It could also just sort of be argued that durge didn't purposefully kill Alfira and they weren't conscious for it so maybe they don't count as the killer? Sort of like if somebody was possessed you don't blame them for what they did under the possession.
It’s possible Alfira realised it wasn’t “really you” when she was getting killed.
When playing as Dark Urge, I allowed the goblin camp to storm the grove. Alfira died protecting the tiefling children.
Instead, a dragonborn bard waltzed up to the camp requesting aid. She'd been robbed by goblins before finding us, and just needed the safety of a camp of people to get through the night. She suffers the same exact grizzly fate.
owww myy
killing a bard is canon
I hate how it kind of forces you not to immediately rebel against your urge. (Not saying about Alfira, I’m saying that the game is okay with you screaming at Astarion that he’s a monster for being a vampire and trying to drink your blood, but it doesn’t let you call yourself a monster for killing this innocent girl.)
i think im the leader of the group for astarion hes not really the main player so it makes sense, companions is trying to make us " PULL yourself together " mind set. i think it does if you play as astarion origin people hate you cause your a vampire
@@ZaimGamePlay Well yes, but if you’re MC (Tav) and get the bite scene, Tav just freaks the f^ck out and screams “MONSTER, MONSTER!!!”
What drives me nuts is that happens, yet Urge (who really is just Tav but their backstory is fully connected to the game) doesn’t think anything really rough about themselves for doing this. The roughest you can be on yourself is simply lamenting the fact that you wanted to travel with Alfira.
I was hoping for Urge to freak, curse whatever they were, things like that. Not to hide and skirt away from what happens and act like nothing happened at all (drove me nuts how the only convo you can have with the companions after this is Urge whining/lying “i DoN’t CaRe HoW iT LoOkS, i DiDn’T KiLL aLfIrA 😭” and it’s like “Bish you were wearing Alfira’s guts like a coat and not the least bit concerned, don’t pull that shit now of ‘I didn’t do it!’🙄🙄🙄”
@@Norinia I understand where you're coming from, but Astarion just got "too bitey", he decided to try to bite you in your sleep. Urge is different, it's totally unaware, almost like having a split personality.
@@Norinia Sad as it may be though, that's probably a fairly realistic reaction. It's easy to say "I would never do something like that" or "I would never be so cowardly as to hide from my actions", but being faced with something like that would just bring out the ol' fight or flight, and saying is vastly different from doing. Many people would rather deny that it's part of them (and they're not wrong, they literally didn't experience it) than acknowledge and take whatever punishment comes from it. Especially given that just hating yourself isn't likely to make it any easier to want to take action about it.
Well this is gonna be an interesting bedtime story
Poor Alfira though i WAS TOTALLY SHOCK
Failing the check to hide the body is dark humor a its finest.
deadass ur dragonborn looks identical to mine albeit their eye colors are different
😂 nice. i prefer flame red since hes a dark urge
I love how my companions didn't react at all because scratch showed up.
man i really wanted a bard in my party, such a bummer
I always liked the contrast of a good Dark Urge playthrough, the desperate resistance and guilty conscience makes a great contrast.
Wait! How did you get to use "Speak with Dead" if you're Alfira's killer?? Is this a spoiler for a later-game reveal that you didn't actually kill her and she was murdered by someone else? (I haven't finished the game yet)
I think the dark side urges and you are a different person. Maybe because we have a tadpole in our brain
I really like the idea that Alfira does not consider You to be the one who killed her.
It is the decision of the deceased if they will answer you or not. In BG3 it’s just a blanket rule that nobody will talk to you if you killed them. But, Alfira sees that you are not the one responsible for her death. Your Urge is not you.
@@ZaimGamePlay thanks for responding-- I'm sorry if my first comment came off angry because I wasn't mad, just intrigued. I'm going to try this myself, thank you for the video!
@@Hat-Trick Yes I like that idea as well, thanks for expressing it better than I did!
@@Ramberta no hard feeling haha its an amazing game with so much hidden stuff even I am finding, there a bunch of hidden dialogue I found I hope one day I can post more companions react,
My ppl didn't even bat an eye at the dead body I got zilch dialouge
Astarion called me “dagger-happy” and nobody else seemed to notice
NOT BEST GIRL!
