hk brightshadow u rlly think the worst teams today would beat the best teams of the 90's?! U outta ur damn mind smh I would love to see the best of today vs. the best of yesterday that would indeed be very interesting no doubt
Best era in basketball without a doubt. Perfect combination of physicality, skill, and athleticism. You can’t blame the modern players, because they are more skilled and athletic in general, which is expected as the game evolves. The problem is the current nba rules. They have gone way too far not letting men be men. Bring back hand checking and let defense be a thing again. Incredible three point shooters, but it lacks the raw passion that happens when there is a little contact and toughness.
And young people claim the guys during this era weren't skilled. SMH. Having grown up watching NBA basketball from the 90s to now, the skill has dropped, IMO. Everybody just wants to shoot threes and play ISO ball.
@@StvcktonYT Simply shooting threes is not skill. Guys can't move without the ball. They don't box out for weak side rebounds. And they don't have any post moves. All the game mostly consists of today is ISO ball and drive and kick for three. I've seen players literally be wide open for a lay-up in the paint, and they're solely focused on passing it out for a three, which is lower percentage. It's why this year's playoffs have been so boring, as most every game is a blowout because a team just hits threes.
@@pomerlain8924 you do understand scoring from farther away from the basket is a much better skill than taking a layup, boxing out isn’t a skill btw bro 😂 please learn evolution. Basketball in the 90s without zone defense and all this help defense was soooo much more entertaining. If you couldn't defend, you didn't play. Now, if you can shoot, you make $90,000,000, even if you can't gaurd a lawn chair
What I hate is that its made defensive rotations so lazy. They sit in a soft zone and still don't rotate back to their man, so it feels like 1-out-of-every-3 shots is uncontested cause no one gets back.
I will forever say the 90s was the best nba era ever. But with that nostalgia, I regret that those Pacer teams didn't play in another era. Cause I'm convinced they would have gotten at least one if not for St Michael and the bulls. Viva la 90$ nba!!
not if you rooted against him.. im a knicks fan from back then.. and while he is the greatest, i still hate his guts and would tell him exactly that if I ever had the chance to meet. I hate you, even IF you are the greatest..
As a David Robinson fan, this was painful. For what it's worth, he has plenty of highlights of his own, and did much more than just get faked-out by Hakeem or pushed around by Shaq.
In Jordan's last game and 6th title to close out Utah the bulls scored 87 points (and Mike had 45 of those point's)he got the steal and in that same posession he hit the game winning "title winning" shot....damn

everything about the NBA in the 90's was fire, doesnt look like we will ever see a greater era in basketball.
I thought they were ugly af. I never liked the aesthetics of the 90s. But if younger people like them that's fine.
Yes
I feel so honored that I could watch many of these live on tv.
Goddamn Hakeem was a beast. They don't make centers like they used to.
Kendrick Perkins

So nostalgic, 90's NBA lives forever
That Jordan shot on Byron Russell still me the chills. That Jordan guy is a BADD MAN
90's basketball was so explosive, more teams, everyone playing like it was there last game
I watched many of these live. Definitely my favorite era of NBA.
I honestly don't know how Shawn Kemp didn't get into a fight every game.
I was never able to actually watch him but I can tell he is one savage
shawn kemp was strong as shit no one wanted to fight that man
Rodman wasn't scared of anyone, and he could back it up. That man was 90% muscle.
He kinda overdid the celebrations after his dunks
Nothing Much Malone and Robinson would fold Kemp
3:35 has always been my all time favorite NBA play! MJ breaks about 3 defenders and dunks on the 4th for the and 1.
best era of NBA

I actually had a guy going back and forth with me trying to say that the nba now blows it away from the 80s and 90s 😅😅
I miss the old "40 games in 30 nights" on TNT/TBS during the playoffs. The rivalries were fantastic, as was recreating them playing NBA Jam.
