🤣🤣True!
I was thinking the same thing.😂
Thank for the amazing years Vince. From those amazing dunks and those flashes of greatness shown even at 43. To the last player drafted in 90’s have a great time in retirement half man half amazing, thanks for decades of great memories man.
Thank You Vince
Watching this, live, was an unbelievable pleasure.
everybody commenting about how they remember this dunk or that dunk, you have *no* idea what this meant for Toronto at the time. Raps were only in their 5th season and struggling for an identity - this put Toronto on the NBA map.
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 raps all dayy!!!
And they shunned him!! Disgrace
He was the hero of every 90's kod born in tdot
Best jerseys in NBA history with the raptor on it
Cleanest reverse 360 every
💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Carter is definitely one of the best dunkers in history. Top 5 for sure.
Vince the greatest ever and I even had a poll about it 😂👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🙌🏽🔥❤️……. you’ve got to be one of those young guys or something lol….
Vince jumped over 7 ft Guy…….#NuffSaid
#1 PERIOD
As a Warriors Fan, I feel proud that Oracle Arena (back when it was The Arena in Oakland) got to host this legendary performance. Easily some of the best dunks in Dunk Contest History!!!
Still can't believe the Warriors traded this guy for Antawn Jamison!! Traded Penny for 1 yr of C webb!! Drafted Bumleavy Jr!!!
20 years later and this still is the greatest dunk contest.
The 2016 dunk contest was better
@@ajayyxonot really. If Aaron won then yes
@@SoggySlopster That doesn't change anything. In terms of quality 2016 was better. This one was a 1 man show
not even close lol
2016 is the greatest dunk contest of all-time
The power of his dunks is unmatched.
I still remember watching this live when he put his elbow in the rim. Nobody knew how to react because it was getting ridiculous. You didn’t even understand what you were seeing.
I remember watching this live back in 2000. When he threw down the first dunk, it felt like a bolt of electricity went threw my body. I was 19 and watching with a group of friends. I don't think we've ever been more hyped over anything. Half man, half amazing!
Still think no one matches Vince to this day
JoEnUtZ23 what about gerald green i think he can do all of these dunks....maybe
JoEnUtZ23 Although Zach Lavine tried earlier this year
Hassan Abdullahi I don't doubt that the majority can do his dunks but they dont have the ability to make it look so damn good lol
JoEnUtZ23 and 1st attempt.....not 14 tries
Zach keep Vince spirit alive though....but i suggest you guys youtube....hoopmixtape...best dunk comp....there is a guy there that was nuts....leaped over 4 0r 5 people no push off..clean cleared them all
Harri v'Jah chris andersen :D
whenever i feel sad or glum i come here
My God life just isn’t the same anymore
Then why don't you make it/yours better than..? Quit your job if u have to, dump your spouse if necessary, raise your children the way you wanted to.. Dan Pena said 87 percent of ppl on earth are not happy at there jobs.. beginning to believe that
The power, full extension, with his head level with the rim of that reverse 360 and the outbounds windmill is just ridiculous. 🤣😂🤣😂🤦🏽♂️
Michael Keaton’s reaction to his fourth dunk 😂
shaq's reaction will always be funny
+Victoria Mosse and Chris Webber
Here after that horrendous 2022 dunk contest
Who's here after watching the 2022 Dunk contest? These are the reactions we wanted!
Wish we could turn back time, to the good old days...
Portgas D. Ace that's a song
Well, Vince Carter after all these years is STILL playing in the NBA at 41.
Portgas D. Ace yea i know right
When our momma sang us to sleep
Portgas D. Ace back when you didn’t have a magma fist in your chest?
Im here because of the trash dunk contest I had to witness last night. So much energy in this arena. Miss the old days
brandon lucy lmao same
KGs reaction is priceless, gets me every time
He’s so powerful and so smooth.
the great thing about Vince was hes greatest dunks were on players... in game.
For real
he is not just a dunker. he is more of a player.
Yeah not just a dunk contest dunker but the in-game shit he was producing was off the charts lol
All his dunks will never get old. This literally was the best dunk contest I’ve ever seen. I literally screamed and jumped off my couch every dunk. This was the height of the slam dunk contest. After this, it all went down hill
The lavine gordon contest was miles above this one. This just happened in an era that wowed everyone
@@Smegma824 good dunkers, but Vince is the GOAT
@@jorgeinostroza6675 nope. Gordon and Lavine were doing next, NEXT level shit that made Vince's dunks look like basic ass Dr. J dunks from the 70s.
Wtf are you talking about after all those years
Until 2016..give credit
Vince Carter = Goat Of Dunks
No debate
The 2022 contest brought me here
the early 2000 was one of the best time for the NBA , you have a huge amont of new raising talents and also some great old ones
jeffrey dahmere tru
Jason Richardson was something else too man 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
Isaiah Thomas hopping over table to give Carter props priceless! 😂
bet that female judge was glad to get away from his creepy ass for a second..he was probably trying to get her number until this distracted him the deiviant he is
Had to come back here from the other day
Come back after 2022 dunk contest
If I saw Vince Carter driving the basketball and I was in the paint Id probably faint.
Gody P I'd retire right then and there
Who here after 2019 dunk contest?
me
yeah, something about the dunks after the Vince carter contest. Players don't' seem smooth and impactful.
GTR skyline the only other dunk contest as good as this is Aaron Gordon vs Zach Lavine
Me. Lavine and gordon are bums
No matter how many honey dips there are there still donuts (incomparable) VC will forever be legendary for many years and still on top!!!!!!!air🇨🇦15
Vince Carter 360 windmill dunk is still the greatest windmill dunk in history. Everybody tried to copy that or pay homage I guess, but nobody could ever really do the dunk exactly how Vince did it. One of a kind dunk… powerful and with grace and on the first attempt! Amazing.
Its the power he slams it with, and full extension of the arm on the windmill. No one else can do that, all the copy cats bend their arm at the elbow so it never looks as good as this dunk
