Another case you can make for MJ being the GOAT, is the fact that he played against all the talent of the golden era of the NBA (the 90s) and he came out on top most of the time beating them all.
90s was a boring era . We're living in the golden era now. I believe from 2005 till now we've had say more different champions than there was in 80s,90s era
@The Traveler today’s game is a total snooze fest. Guys today take nights off even when healthy. 1 and done college kids have made today’s NBA not as talented as it was back then. The 80’s and 90’s were the golden era of the league. It was must see tv. You had to be both mentally and physically tough in order to play back then. @@TheSnake1123 can't speak much on 80s cause I didn't grow up in that era. Snoozefest was going into every season knowing that the bulls were going to win. @The Traveler well there’d be no NBA today if Magic and Bird weren’t there to save the league from going bankrupt. Those Celtics-Lakers finals were some of the best basketball you’ll ever see. That was a true rivalry where you saw the passion and drive for competition. And who do you think made the blueprint for players today to succeed? Guys back then actually showed up to work. You had to be mentally and physically tough to succeed. Guys today taking nights off when they’re healthy shows you how great the work ethic is for today

I remember watching this and thinking he looked almost bored with how dominant he was, and how nobody was able to guard him. His retirement a few months later made sense given he had no challenges left in the game anymore.

The golden times....Will always remember when the bulls won the title my english teacher (A woman) here in france wrote this on the black board as the event of the day "the Chicago bulls won the 3peat in basketball" alonside the date of the day...was so cool. We had a big jordan poster in the classroom....
The time when Basketball really was played. All these retro90 players would easily adopt to todays NBA and destroy everything. When the new ones would go back most of them would simply get destroyed. And that’s something sad to say. But it’s fact and easy even to see only by footage.
The game was way better before social media and internet. The rivalries were intense. Players from opposing teams weren’t friends with each other. Players didn’t jump from team to team chasing rings like they do now. The players had more personality and didn’t all try to emulate their predecessors. They grew up playing ball all the time not playing video games. They cared less about money and it was more about the competition back then. And we had Jordan, magic, bird, Barkley etc.
The 1993 Phoenix Suns are the prototype of today’s warriors. And Jordan didn’t let them deter him. I’m from phoenix Suns are my team. But can’t deny reality.

@Yang Li how is he terrible

Estos fueron mis primeros partidos NBA que vi, me enamoro desde entonces hasta la fecha, qué recuerdos tantos años!
The 80's and 90's NBA was so good i wish they would consider putting these old playoffs/championship series on DVD sets. Just watching these old highlights makes this 49 year old want to go out in the driveway right now, lol.
The youngsters of today need to watch and understand the history of the game thru videos like this.. The 80s and into the 90s that was basketball.
Quality is just awesome to watch. Thanks for uploading.
There were true rivalries back then, not the love fest super team league you have today.
@@TheSnake1123 can't speak much on 80s cause I didn't grow up in that era. Snoozefest was going into every season knowing that the bulls were going to win. The rivalries lacked spark because everyone knew the bulls were the only thing that mattered. The Game was also less skillfully. Guys didn't have the shooting skills and talent of today's players and I say that as someone that is 6 months older than lebron
Beautiful!! Absolutely beautiful..I truly enjoyed that trip back through memory lane, Thankyou!!
Honestly forgot how good and dominant Barkley actually was!! That man definitely deserved a championship ring!
Wake up please. Barkley scheduled to see his Ostheporotic doctor
Remember this series vividly. I was such a basketball junkie. Lived with a ball in my hand.
Now looking back watching these guys, I really appreciate all thier great skill. Those Reverse lay ups, post up moves, drives and cuts to the basket. You can see how excellent and professional they are
The Bulls was always my favorite team as a kid, was lucky enough to get WGN and able to watch most of the Bulls season on cable in Maine.
Best finals ever, I was heartbroken when the Suns lost this one, knowing chances are slim to none coming back from a 3-1 deficit.
I'm watching this at home standing, the crowd got me so fired up!!
When the NBA was the NBA
low
When the nba was boring a.f not alot of teams with real athletes weak as defence easy baskets idk why they say to get a basket u have to get hammer lebron would of kill that era
@@reynaldoruiz1834
Now NBA is boring. Like prison inmates, all are in tattoos, players run on a court. No talent, no strategy, no playing technique. The last one from real NBA era was Kobe, the rest of players is BS.
@@mardikermardiker8514 hahahah tattoos and everything but now actually they do look like athletes speed strength and now u actually have to go to college to make it cuz they have alot of talent not like back then didnt have enough from college had to go to high schools to look for new players now in college is full of new better talent all sports keep evolusionating now they all can play all 5 players not like back then only 2 out of 15 players wow

I love this old NBA jerseys!
i have one of MJ
Hell yea me too I love old 90s jersey
Everyone has their favorite, and mine was Jordan. We can argue it all day long. What you can’t argue is, in the playoffs, in the Finals...he simply refused to lose. He wouldn’t allow it. That man hated losing more than he loved winning. To me, he’s the greatest. Always will be.

MJ is the GOAT and was otherworldy in this entire final, but Barkley was just unstoppable. It's a shame he never won a title and we have to listen to moronic kids disparage him about it, dude is absolutely one of the best players of all time.
He literally was getting buckets from all over. There's nothing they could do to stop it
This is peak Jordan, The perfect perfection physical and mental melded into the perfect basketball player.

too many 3 balls~!!! Sissy NBA
as someone who watched live on tv all final series i must agree with you from what we are seeing today in NBA ,MJ is so far ahead from others
现在全都在投三分球
Lol
@@mentorraci3188 Not only MJ, on that game King Charles is amazing as well. I really enjoy this year play off, some players are showing amazing stuffs (i love what Leonard Kawhi is doing), but i am a nostalgic of the golden years when MJ, Scottie Pippen, Denis Rodman, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Clyde Drexler, Patrick Ewing, Kris Webber, John Stockton, David Robinson, Charles Barkley, R. Miller, Akim Olajuwon, Tim Hardaway, Latrell Spewell and so on...i cannot count how many amazing players were playing together at that time. But for sure, now it is more physical , the game changed.I was not a big fan of the years of big Shack and Kobe but i like Iverson during that period...

Jogo memorável e inesquecível pra quem assistiu, dava gosto de ver os caras jogar.
They were exciting to watch. They played actual ball and not standing behind 3 point line just shooting 3's.
The atmosphere in the stands resembles of football (and I mean European football) stands when I watch the 90s NBA videos... Nowadays, NBA crowds are mostly busy taking selfies and eating popcorn in the stands.

Pippen was one of the most dangerous players ever pushing the ball up court
He had the stutter step where he would slow down for a second and then explode by you and then dunk on your head.
Me and my dad would watch the Bulls and say how Pippen covered the entire court in 3 steps when on a break away
Very underrated player
I have a 33 tattoed on my arm because of Scottie very good memories
Scottie was the complete player. 2 way? Master at work.

You realize this is a highlights and not continuous game play, right?
Watching the sheer effortless of Michael's scoring here, you get a sense for how easy it is for him. I remember watching this and thinking he looked almost bored with how dominant he was, and how nobody was able to guard him. His retirement a few months later made sense given he had no challenges left in the game anymore.
Re-watching in 2022. Still enjoying 😉

Barkley was a MAN. Dont let that chubby dude on TNT fool you.
Chuck was a stud. He just kinda let himself go after retirement from the NBA
No joke. I met him once in the 90’s. Enormous hands, but didn’t seem taller than 6’04. I walked away being even more impressed. He was like the spud web of big men

One of the all star studded NBA Finals. The best two players on their prime going at it .. Barkey the regular season MVP that year vs MJ.
Barkley dunk on Pippen's face, that would be dunk of the year in today nba
This is BASKETBALL.
That Michael Jordan was a beast
As great as MJ was , this video shows how great the phoenix suns was. They might not be golden state but they were an amazing strong team. Very complete team that just happened to meet the juggernaut
I think this 93’ MJ was the Best MJ in his whole Playing Career ’ this MJ is the greatest NBA player to ever step foot on a court
Those Barkley's are the cleanest pair he's ever made. 👌
It’s sad basketball will never be this competitive again. Very entertaining and exciting game
The golden times....Will always remember when the bulls won the title my english teacher (A woman) here in france wrote this on the black board as the event of the day "the Chicago bulls won the 3peat in basketball" alonside the date of the day...was so cool. Look up Danny Ainge flops. But still a killa on offence.
your not a smart human. there was little white people in this vid.. dont be dumb re think ur life choices minda
Sir Charles was like hi y’all doing. I finally made it to the Finals😆
The time when Basketball really was played. All these retro90 players would easily adopt to todays NBA and destroy everything. When the new ones would go back most of them would simply get destroyed. And that’s something sad to say. But it’s fact and easy even to see only by footage.
look at this... they don't have the skills to take open 3s when given 2 arm spacing.
look at those ymca defense...
We all know about MJ, Chuck, Pippen and the stars but I gotta talk about Kevin Johnson! What a PG! Daaaaaaaamn!!!
Different era what a era the best craft toughness and hand checking still in the game hard fouls also love this game
A lot of good teams in the 90’s, just ran into the Bulls !
I really loved watching the Suns this year. No team without Jordan could have beaten them.
Jordan averaged 41.0 points, 8.5 rebounds and 6.3 assists in this Finals.

The 1993 Phoenix Suns are the prototype of today’s warriors. And Jordan didn’t let them deter him. I’m from phoenix Suns are my team. But can’t deny reality.
