Wow! I didn't use clockwork before because I hated the fact that the ship would tilt and crash due to the most insignificant weight change, and the gyroscope completely fixes this issue AND looks awesome! Amazing!
The gyro is not completely realistic, however there are 2 types of gyros. Passive and active gyros. Passive gyros resist movement, and active gyros react to keep what they are attached to in a determined position, these are also called reaction wheels, wich are heavly used in satelites to mantain an orientation without using their limited ammount of RCS fuel.
We should be able to configure the altitude sensor to change the redstone output, i.e. change the sensor so that it gives off a redstone signal when below the altitude or above the altitude
With the gyro serving as a reaction wheel we only need fuel based propulsion and orbits to have a space game! And other planets to explore, which is quite a lot :|

Hello Kwizzle, actually you can mine auric ore, you just need to touch block, then i used iron pickaxe and it worked, so maybe your version is a bit old or so.
@@KwizzleHazzizle I think it has to do with the lack of a vanilla netherite mineable tag and loot table thing since you had a netherite pick (Since there isn't anything in base game that needs to check if a Netherite pickaxe can mine it) Great video all the same!

I reckon you should have framed this as being a bugfix + experimental features, rather than like "it's a new update, there is some cool new stuff, oh but most of it is like in the pre release stage"
and the ores arent even useful yet, quite clickbait, also I hope they remove the ore floatyness and maybe just make the crystals affected by antigravity

Any idea to what is this problem, and how can i fix it? Are you using iris for sodium/ any sodium forks like rubidium etc. if so how are you able to play with shaders as my valkyrien skies is crashing with sodium…. and i know for a fact that optifine is incompatable with Create mod

To use shaders you either need to use Optifine or Sodium/Embeddium with Iris/Oculus. The problem is Clockwork doesn't work with either of them at the moment. For Optifine it's probably a problem that will never get solved but for Sodium/Embeddium they are developing a fix
Can you upload the modpack that you are using , I'm kind of struggling with mods, the game on 1.20 crashes for me or sometimes doesn't start at all , I play on 1.19.2 for the moment

Has anyone had issues building planes in this version? Every time I built a new plane and try to fly it, it would go crazy and sometimes noclip out of existence.

Hey, cool video. I wanted to ask, how does the infuser work? I try using it but on 1.18.2 it just doesn't work and 1.20.1 it crashes the game, there is also no blue super glue and no auric matrix.
I haven't tested compatibility with older versions tbh. I think the physics difference have less to do with MC version and more that it a newer version of VS/Clockwork

You can just move gyro to move entire contraption, gyro will stay in place but vehicle will rotate

I feel like the ore activating when jumped on could cause massive performance issues if mobs in caves do that a bunch
I believe that the gyroscope should show the angle of inclination, and not bow the structure itself

You have to not use optifine. So on fabric I use sodium and iris and on forge I use oculus only since rubidium has some compatibility issues

the mod just does NOT work. prop bearings when on a "ship" just despawn, or only spin a single block
