Hello Hanna; Lots of classic rock & metal. A big haul hopefully the price was right. Some the covers look ruff, as long as the vinyl is good. Eddie Clarke's Fastway was the guitarist from MotorHead. April Wine, Canadian rock band the greatest hits & live are worth having. Frank Marino Canadian guitar shredder. Orchestrated guitar work. Some very nice vinyl finds. The next haul should be additional record racks. HA! Enjoy the spins. Be Happy, healthy & stay warm. Your Friends, Tina & Pat!~
Howdy, Tina and Pat! The price was right on this. I made a fair offer and the dude accepted. I know many of the covers are rough. The condition of the vinyl is pretty great overall...much better than what the covers display! Haha, don't need additional storage yet. The bulk of these will stay in the boxes until they are traded or sold! I will keep some of 'em! It was fun showing them all with you! :-)
"Is It a Dream" is a great track. That was one of the album posters on the wall in Ferris Bueller's room (along with Flesh For Lulu, Blancmange, Simple Minds, Bryan Ferry, Charlie Sexton, Jah Wobble/Edge/Holger Czukay, Cabaret Volataire and Killing Joke)
I am looking forward to seeing these Hanna. Props to Louder Than Bombs in the background. It is definitely complimenting the backspace. My two favorite slower tracks. This Night Has Opened My Eyes' and 'Back To The Old House'. See you tonight~ Rob/Boston
Hey Rob! Had to display two favorites in the back that display my true taste...Smiths and the Damned! Knew you'd approve of the Smiths! I adore "This Night Has Opened My Eyes." Great stuff. Glad to have you check in again later! :-) Have a wonderful day!
Hi Eric! How's it going? Ah, yeah, you gotta see Peacemaker. I'm not a fan of superhero/comic-based movies or shows usually, but I dig Peacemaker and Deadpool! Catch ya later!
Holy smokes, Hanna! You made my morning. You've got quite a few gems in that haul. I'm the viewer who said to give 'Too Fast For Love' by Mötley Crüe a spin. And I'd definitely keep the Pat Benatar, Cheap Trick (even if you have other copies), GN'R, Montrose (with a young Sammy Hagar on vocals), Tesla (one of my favorites) and Van Halen. The Melissa Etheridge s/t album was a bit of an oddball (based on the rest of the collection), but it's really good. I'd keep that one, too! Well, you're going to make some metalheads very happy once you start selling/trading these. Keep up the sweet videos! Be good & take care...
Hi Jared! Thank you, sir, for being the one who spoke highly of Too Fast For Love. Can't wait to sit down with it! I will definitely be keeping some of these. Hoping to trade a bunch, though for stuff I really want. Yeah, that Melissa Etheridge was a bit out of place...as well as Saturday Night Fever! Ha! I appreciate the kind words and thanks for stopping by again!
Hey Bill! Hehe, very cool you have that Quireboys record Peacemaker was playing. Great scene! Hope all is well with you and your family in Michigan! Take care.
There are some classics in that collection. That's some early April Wine, I do recognize a few on the first side, you might too. I met the guy that wrote Drop your Guns. One of my favorite April Wine albums is Harder Faster, worth a look. That ZZ Top Delguello is a great album.
The original owner was definitely a fan of classic rock and metal. I remember the Kiss album having an insert of some sort. It is a silver record award or something like that. There are definitely some good listens in there Hanna. Enjoy them. I got to go out and start shoveling before it gets too high to do so. Have a great weekend~ Rob/Boston
Hey again, Rob! It would be nice if I could trade some of these for some original Smiths or Cure records...post-punk and 80s titles I've been searching for! Doing trades within the vinyl community is what this is all about! Heard you guys are getting slammed again with another storm. Geesh. Meanwhile, here in Omaha we have only gotten 7.8 inches of snow this season. Very unusual and dry for us.
@@TheOmahaIntrovert If I needed them I would trade with you Hanna. I am sure that someone in the shops or in the VC would be looking to do some kind of deal with you. I was watching my buddy Bobby {Liner Notes} new video on the Top 50 albums of 2021. I thought of you when he showed the 파란노을 (Parannoul) album called 'To See The Next Part Of a Dream'. Apparently it is an excellent shoegaze release. I cannot vouch for it. But you know your shoegaze. So I am sure you could tell just how good or not so good it is. Yes we did get hit pretty good. Just about 10" of snow. At one period it was freezing rain and sleet. Then it stopped. So everyone started to snowblow, shovel and plow. Then the snow came back with a vengeance. We got another 3" just to annoy everyone. New England weather is like listening to The Shaggs. You never know from one beat to the next how the music/weather is going to go. Have a nice weekend H~
Hello Hanna. Good to see ya, I have probably 95% of what you’ve showed in my collection. Lol. Some very good hard rock/southern rock/metal in this collection. You will have no problem trading or selling those. I loved that you kept that kinks lp. I’m always looking for good copies of there stuff. I was eyeing those VH lps tho. They look in really great shape. Take care Hanna Rich
Hey Rich! Thanks for the comment as always! Tomorrow is Friday, woo hoo! Ah yeah, this stuff is definitely up your alley. I'll have to check the condition of the VH records again, but many of these records are in fantastic shape. I just need to clean them and voila! :-)
You hooked me with the Peacemaker connection. In the show context, it (almost) makes hair metal listenable. Glad to see a second season is coming. I am not sure about Uriah Heep but surely that Joe Perry Project album cover is the thing of nightmares. With an older brother who had an Alice Cooper/Black Sabbath phase when I was growing up or a high school friend who was Iron maiden obsessive there is some nostalgia seeing some of the covers. Good luck with your trades
Hi Richard! Thanks for wishing me luck with the trades! We were really happy to hear that Peacemaker is renewed for a second season, too! Typically I'm not a fan of the comics-based/superhero shows or movies, but I enjoyed the humor and music references in Peacemaker a lot! I 100% agree regarding that Joe Perry Project cover. Eeeeks! Glad this video triggered some nostalgia for you! Take care!
Hi, Hanna! In these hard times we live in, you made my day. For me, the 70's and 80's were one of the best eras of the history of music and Hard Rock/Metal. Lynyrd Skynyrd-Pronounced Lêh-Nérd Skin-Nérd (1973), AC/DC-High Voltage (American version, 1976), Van Halen-Van Halen (1978), Motley Crue-Too Fast For Love (1981), Ozzy Osbourne-Blizzard of Ozz (1980), Guns N' Roses-Appetite For Destruction (1987) were great debut albums. Triumph-Allied Forces (1981) is an album you need to hear before you die. I recommend! Fun fact: There was a singer here in Brazil called Vanusa (1947-2020) and in 1973 she released a song ''What to Do'' and in 1973/1974, Black Sabbath released the song ''Sabbath Bloody Sabbath'' and I don't know if there was any plagiarism 'cause both songs are similar. Listen to Vanusa-''What to Do'' and Black Sabbath-''Sabbath Bloody Sabbath'' and you'll see. Excellent video and Peacemaker, Beetlejuice and The Smiths approve! Rock on!
Hi Alen! You have the first comment I've read here that recommends Triumph! I will definitely have to check out Vanusa's What to Do and compare with Sabbath Bloody Sabbath! You piqued my interest! Enjoy your night! Thanks, as always!
Ooo, I can easily play Big Star #1 Record and Iron Maiden Killers back to back, really enjoy some hard rock. Hanoi Rocks were great, more straight glam rock and roll with strong new wave and punk influences. Check out their Back to mystery city LP. I know at least one Kiss tune you’d like, C’mon and love from 1975. It’s a fantastic power pop bubblegum tune! I love Lynyrd Skynyrd, vocalist Ronnie Van Zant was a great street poet IMHO. But many of these albums should be good for trades. 👍🏽 Love the Peacemaker clips. 😂👍🏽
Hey there! Thanks for recommending that Hanoi Rocks LP to me. Now I know where to start! Glad you dug the Peacemaker clips! Such a fun show! :-) Happy Friday, and thanks for the comment!
This is a great instant classic rock collection. The Black Sabbath and Motley Crue albums are awesome. Of course I would recommend that you keep the Van Halen records. ♥️ Take care.
Thanks so much, Melinda. I know many of these bands/titles are definitely up your alley! Someone recommended I especially check out Fair Warning from VH. I will give that a fair chance because of the description they provided, but overall these VH LPs will go to a good home! 😃 Hope you are well! Have an excellent weekend!
Nice job Hannah, the way you feel about Pink Floyd is how I feel about The Beatles. Heard them so much growing up I can't stand them. You got some nice gems in there. Tesla and Motley Crue are hard to find in the wild.
Haha, so you do understand where I'm coming from. Sometimes you just need to step away from bands if they've been in your ears too much. Yeah, it's rare to come across Teslue and Motley Crue. I was pleased with this lot! Take care and thanks for being here!
Aloha Hanna, Awesome collection you purchased. That 2nd copy of the Grand illusion by Styx which has the JEM sticker on the shrink wrap is that an Import copy, UK, German?. Dats my personal favorite record album by that band. Thanks for sharing your record collection purchased. Mahalo Ed
I have approx half of the first box, less so on the second. A lot of great records. From my point of view, a lot of those records are easy to come by so i don't know how easy it is to trade or sell them further with the sleeves so tattered. Maybe it's different story over there. Good luck with whatever you decide to do. Pasi
Pasi, hello. I'd say at least 10-15 of this records are not that easily found around here. Maybe more. I won't have any trouble trading these since the vinyl condition is VG+ or better on many. That's the part that matters most after all! :-) Plus I got a good deal! Be positive! Take care.
Hard rock and metal lps are great trade leverage. Well done, Hanna! Thanks for showing us! April Wine released a 'Ballads' album, where "Just Between You And Me" leads off. That they could fill an album with ballads says something! Being Canadian, back in the late seventies, they'd play my town 3 times a year. They put on great live shows. Interesting the Sabbath lps had bad covers and clean records. They are later pressings, as the og's would have a green label. Cheers!
Hi there! Yeah, I knew I stumbled upon a collection I couldn't pass up because of several of the 80s metal/hard rock titles in particular! And I'll check out that April Wine Ballads album! I sure do love "Just Between You and Me"! Thanks for letting me know about these being Sabbath reissues! Take care!
Wow Hanna, I've never seen that many Pat Travers records in one place! Same for Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush. It might be another 40 years until they enter my headspace again! And that Rush "threefer" proto-box Archives...it must be 35 years since I even thought about that set (though I still dig Rush), which I purchased on release. Many of these hard rock/metal albums were in personal heavy rotation during my late 70s high school years, and I still listen to several of these records today. L-O-V-E the Montrose record, though I'm lukewarm on the rest of Hagar's subsequent work. Thanks for the memories, like watching the Song Remains the Same movie in a drive-in theater when I was 17!
Hey Peter! Haha, yeah, multiples of several bands in this stack! Seems like I helped you take a trip down memory lane with some of these records! I'll be throwing the Montrose record on the table later this week to see what it's like! Rock on!
Hi Hanna: Late to this video. Nice trade bait with several gems to keep. You will surely be able to get some records that you want with these to trade/sell. For ones that you would keep but for the split jackets, have you heard of Seamzeazy Record Jacket Repair Strips? I saw someone on YT do a video on them a while back. I bookmarked the product for possible later use. Rock on! - Heather
Thank you, Heather! Hopefully I get some trades out of this at some point, but so far no luck! I definitely need to check out Seamzeazy. Thank you for the heads up! Sounds like a useful product for sure! :-)
Good call on snagging that collection. Some of those titles have really skyrocketed. I have most of them or else I’d be proposing a trade. Those OG Mötley, Maiden, and Tesla will make for some killer trade fodder. If I were you I’d hang onto that Too Fast For Love, that’s a great one, and definitely has a more raw punk feel than subsequent releases.
Hey Thomas! Happy to have you stop by, and early! Knew that many of these would definitely be up your alley. I know you've shown some of these on your IG in the past! Yeah, I'm actually looking forward to spinning Too Fast for Love! Rock on!
G'day Hanna growing up in a tough working class suburb in the 70's AC/DC were our pop band, Iron Maiden Piece of Mind has the trooper on it which has a great intro, but overall this is reason I got into punk🤣
@@TheOmahaIntrovert Early Iron Maiden is a bit punky in places especially the first two albums with Paul Di'anno on vocals. I don't know if you've ever listened to them but if not try the song Sanctuary from their first album. 👍✌️
Hey Hanna, you had me at The Great Radio Controversy and Dr Feelgood lol. It is so cool to see you show Metal and hard rock. You should do this more often (hint, hint). BTW, that Phantasmagoria wax in the background awesome, killer record. Rock on! JC/Miami
Hi JC! Good to see you here again! So glad you noticed Phantasmagoria in the back! One of my favorites from the Damned! It's not often where I show a metal and hard rock collection, so I'm thrilled you enjoyed this one! 😃 Rock on!
Not gonna lie, if I had the chance Hanna I'd do exactly what you have done with this collection :) thank you for sharing! I have no doubt you'll get these into the hands of people who will cherish them like their first owner :)
Lol, Dean, I'm so sorry you had to suffer through this one! Definitely not your taste or mine. Fingers crossed some trades will come through. If not, I know what to do with them!
Good Morning Hanna 🥶 ! Woke up to fresh snow & 10 degrees + winds ! here in New Mexico so imagine you have similar mediocre conditions in Omaha. Saw in a thread that you picked up John Foxx Era Ultravox albums & hope you can turn these metal records into more excellent music like that. Trade a Motley Crue for a Sonic Youth & swap Maiden for The Pixies .. Good luck ✌
Good morning, David! Yep, that’s my plan! Hope to get some punk, indie, or post-punk gems with some of these! 🤞🏻🤞🏻 Wow, you are frigid like us right now! 🥶 Stay warm and inside! And yeah, I’m waiting for a collection of 4 Ultravox records from eBay! Can’t wait!
Nice pickup. Looks like some keepers in there. You definitely have some great trade material. Love the Peacemaker clips. I’ll have to check it out. Take care
Thanks so much, Cindy! I really hope some trades come about from this! So far a lot of strike-outs. Peacemaker is quite the entertaining show! Great to hear from you again and hope all is well!
That's a decent collection of Heavy Metal and Hard Rock albums. Fastway is "Fast" Eddie Clark's band. He was the lead guitarist in Classic Lineup of Motörhead. But left the band after the success in the beginning of the 1980s to form his own projet.
Skynyrd, Allmans and Sabbath are in my all time top 10 bands list, so I'm secretly hoping you kept those at least. You did give recognition to Live at the Fillmore which pleased my soul no end. 🙏
Amazing haul you scored, Hanna! I hope you keep those Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Motley Crue records. You never know when you might want to rock out to them. 😉
Hey, OI.... Interesting collection you've compiled, there!.... Luv me some Pat Benatar--"Precious Time"(1981) is a great album(Promises In The Dark is the opener on that one for goodness sake!/the title track kicks too if you've never heard, along with Fire & Ice)... Her husband, guitarist Neil Geraldo is an awesome talent who can shred with some of the best... I think you'll like MC"s" To Fast For Love"---short, snappy rockers chock full of snarling attitude from one of the most original and exciting bands I've ever seen... . Thanx for all the great content(!) and Take Care, Ghostrider Rick
Thanks Rick! Seems there's lots of love for "Too Fast for Love," so it's in the queue to be spun really soon! Glad you enjoyed this video offering. It was a fun one to put together! :-)
April wine was an earlier greatest hits. Probably 1975 or so. Just between you and me came out in 1981. Triumph was a Canadian band. They did lay it on the line, fight the good fight, say goodbye. Great band.
Ah, gotcha. Thank you for seeing me straight regarding Just Between You and Me by April Wine. I really do love that tune! Thanks for being here and sharing your thoughts!
Hi Hanna. Hope your collection of rock vinyl pays off for you. Your video is a trip down memory lane. I think I had at least 40% of the LPs you showed, at one time. I left rock behind in the 80s for new wave, power pop and UK synth bands. I don't recommend Triumph (apart from the guitarist). They have more in common with Spinal Tap than anyone else. :-) April Wine has some solid rock tunes (You Could Have Been a Lady, Bad Side of the Moon among them). Gonna throw on some Bad Company today. Always liked them.
Hi Doug! I hope this collection was a good buy, too! I'm hoping to get some good trades out of it. If not, I will just sell 'em! Haha, your comment regarding Triumph cracked me up. I honestly haven't ever listened to them. Bad Company do sound great on vinyl! Enjoy your day!
Triumph is awesome. What are you talking about? Spinal tap? They are really great musicians. And can write songs with a meaning. They still have a lot of fans worldwide.
This is a pretty neat collection. I barely have any of these albums. This seems like good material for trading. I hope you find the albums you're looking for !
Thank you! I have to admit, even though these aren't necessarily my music taste, it's cool going through them and knowing that some aren't as easily found anymore! Yes, very much looking forward to trades! Peace!
Hi Hannah: Interesting haul, have quite a few of them. The "legend" of Klaatu: somehow, back in the 1970's when they started a rumour got around that the band was the Beatles reformed secretly. There were no credits on the albums indicating the personel and it actually persisted for some time. Their one "hit" was Calling Occupants of Interplanetary Craft which was a hit for the Carpenters. After about 3 albums, the "truth" came out that they were a group of session musicians from Toronto-they faded after that. Fastway was comprised of "Fast" Eddie Clark-former guitarist with Motorhead-and Pete Way-former bass player with UFO (I think)
Hey John! Hope this week went quickly for you! Thanks so much for the background information on Klaatu. WAs mostly in the dark about them. Interesting tidbits. See you next time and thanks for watching, as always!
Molly Hatchet-Flirtin With Disaster is great. I somehow ended up with two copies I dont like Kiss or Pink Floyd either. I do love David Gilmour's last two solo records are phenomenal. I think i need to check out 38 special records to see if i like their slbums but i do like the two songs you mentioned I wish that Coda was the 2015 version with Travellin Riverside Blues on it.
I've got at least half of those records. I've only got a handful of hair metal records though (not a preferred style). BTW, another example of your taste matching mine, I've never been a Pink Floyd fan either - they just bore me. I own two or three, but would only play them if friends wanted to hear them. Good calls on the ones you said you are keeping. Not sure how big a ZZ Top fan you are, but recommend De Guello. The Peacemaker clips are a nice touch too!
Hey there! Thanks for taking the time to comment. The Peacemaker series is extra fun and I knew it would be neat to incorporate clips for this specific video! And I'm glad you're with me on Pink Floyd! Hehe! Yep, only keeping a very select few of these. Hoping some worthwhile trades materialize. Take care!
Good stuff. There's a LOT of great 80s rock out there that's easy to come by. A lot of poeple focus on hard to find titles, but there's a lot of good stuff readily available.
Hi Hanna! Would it be possible for you to let me know once you are ready to sell Iron Maiden’s Killers and Powerslave albums as well as Judas Priest’s Sin After Sin? I know you’re looking to do trades, but I don’t think I have anything in my collection that I would be willing to part with - or at least nothing that you would like 😅
Well Hanna, so far, your selections are the most interesting and eclectic! I think that you even have Noble Records topped!... Also - That Morgen LP you have on your wall is one of my all-time faves - I used to have the original on Probe but sold it years ago but I have the CD re-ish now. Have a nice day!
Greetings, Bill! Interesting this comment showed up on one of my older videos. So glad you enjoyed my eclectic selections! This is indeed an original Morgen record but it's pretty beat up! See you next time!
Curious about the Black Sabbath albums...depending on when those printings were made. Their catalog was in record label limbo for some years. I have a couple of their cd's that read: Courtesy of Dorchester Holding, issued under license to Creative Sounds LTD.
Hei, Hanna! So many great records in those 2 boxes! Too bad that many had some cover issues but I sure hope that at least some of those have vinyl in "good enough" condition so that you could enjoy'em very much! I hope you don't have too much snow wherever you are, 😎👍 Jarkko/MyVinylBar
Hi Jarkko! Great to hear from you again. It's been a weird winter for us. Hardly any snow this season and overall mild temps. Global warming has a hold of us! Yeah, some of the jackets here are in bad shape but the vinyl is in much better shape, and that's what matters! :-) Hope you are well!
Fun collection pick up! I'm interested in the Rush archives and Exit Stage Left and the Tesla albums. I think I have an idea of some things that might appeal to you, I'll see if I have some traders or let me know what you would like to sell for.
Hi Cliff. Not interested in selling any of these just yet. More interested in trades at the moment. Let me know if you have anything for trade like 80s post-punk/alternative, 70s punk, etc. My e-mail address is listed in the description box.
Greetings Hanna. Also not my "genre" but an interesting video with some "blasts from the past". Those Klaatu albums are good and I was surprised to see them mingled in this lot. Also have to recommend 2 of their other albums, Sir Army Suit and Magentalane. Some of their songs are so happy they should be illegal, but I love them. Sometimes I hear a little Jellyfish or Beatles in their songs. Yes, the Kinks album you found is a keeper. I'm sorry that your ex-husband ruined your Pink Floyd listening experience. It would probably require years of therapy to hear them "as if for the first time", and who's got the time or money for that? Immediately noted Phantasmagoria behind you. What a great "damned" album!
Hiya, Todd! Thanks for the additional Klaatu recommendations. Honestly, the only album I ever see in stores is 3:47 EST. Love that you mentioned Jellyfish! I'm gonna have to listen to Klaatu now! I'm not sad about the Pink Floyd thing. Too much other music to focus on! :-) And I'm glad you noticed Phantasmagoria in the back! Had to display some of my preferred music somehow in this video! Take care!
A few good April Wine songs are "You Could've Been A Lady", I Wouldn't Want To Lose Your Love", "Roller", and "Say Hello". ("You Could Have Been A Lady" actually reminds me of The Jacksons' "Blame It On The Boogie")
Spring of 1975 i saw ZZ Top in Paris, they did a few from Fandango. Backdoor Medley is an incredible live cut, enjoy. You have some home runs in the group. Deep Purple Made In Japan is one i would look for. I could kick myself for not going to Jim's grave when i was in Paris.
Thanks, James Bond, hehe! Glad you liked seeing what was in this collection. So far no luck with trades but I'm cool hanging onto all of these for now. I hope to spin the Deep Purple Made in Japan this week. Cheers!
Nice collection! Lot of it common, some of those not so much. I know every time I find Van Halen’s “Fair Warning “ it’s in bad shape. Can’t find a good copy. I still have my original Kinks “Give the People What they Want” and you made the right choice keeping it. I love some of your comments! Personality makes the channel 👍
Thanks so much for being here! So cool you still have your original Give the People What They Want by the Kinks! I'm glad you're enjoying reading these comments as much as I am! You all rock!
What do you use for a record cleaner? I have an old(er) VPI 16 record cleaner that I still use but I see there are newer models that immerse part of the record in a cleaning solution.
Hi Hannah some nice pick ups besides Rush Zep Sab holding there value late 80s bands like Tesla G&R and Crue are also worth a pretty penny. 2 quick things see if there is a poster in the Sab Masters of Reality album that will seriously increase the price on that album, and since you have it now for the moment listen too the cover on the Judas Priest Unleashed in the East the Joan Biaz cover of Diamonds and Rust it was a huge hit so chances are you have heard it, this song sounds best cranked up! Many like myself consider Unleashed one of the best live "Rock" albums of the era. I hope you do well in all your trades and sales.
Thank you, my friend! Yes, I'm noticing the prices on Discogs that some of these are worth and I did get this collection for a great deal! I'll check the Masters of Reality LP tonight to see if it has the poster. Crossing my fingers that it does! I appreciate you stopping by! Have a great weekend and see you next time!
Best give Judas Priest "Sin After Sin" a spin. Soooo good! Priest is my favorite band of all time. Those are the best Iron Maiden records you showed, WOW! I would keep "Too Fast for Love" by Crue as well. They're not my "band" but that is a great album. Oh, I see "Phantasmagoria" back there! The Damned is my other favorite band.
Yeah, some killer Iron Maiden titles in here, right? I just cleaned Too Fast for Love last night and am looking forward to giving it a spin! And extra points to you for recognizing Phantasmagoria! I very much love the Damned!
Some decent albums in that haul. Do you own the 1979 (or 1978) self-titled debut album by New England? It contains the great hit song "Don't Ever Wanna Lose Ya." Guess you could call them a one-hit wonder. I've never found the album or CD but managed to buy "Don't Ever Wanna Lose Ya" from a '70s rock compilation via mp3 at Amazon.
New England. That's a new band for me. I'll have to look up the tune you mentioned and check this out further. Always get great recommendations from you guys! :-)
I'm sorry it's taken me so long to watch this! What a great collection! Definitely G banger approved! The Maiden and the Sabbath stuff tends to fetch good prices, same with the Ac Dc stuff. Pink Floyd stuff also tends to answer also some of the Van Halen stuff. The only time I've ever bought collections is with singles, and I always have a box full of doubles that I will either sell or trade. Keep up the great content!
Thanks so much for catching this video! Yep, most of these I ended up trading in. I kept Guns 'n Roses, Rush, and Black Sabbath in my collection for now!
I kind of need your advice on something I recently got a Kiss album for Christmas which was called kiss Carnival of Souls I found out that the album was a bootleg and it was a counterfeit now we're on from it is illegal to own a counterfeit album and it was a German pressing once I was an English one side it is in German what do I do with it
Well I do appreciate your response but I had to go through a legal battle with it and my girlfriend I had to take care of it with our attorney but everything's good but there's any records you want let me know
Seems that people don't care about condition anymore. I see trashed collections going for ridiculous prices at auction. What I say is based on covers, not necessarily the record themselves without me actually going over them in person.
The vinyl itself is what matters most, is it not? Sure, cover in VG+ or better condition to match equal quality vinyl is most ideal. For OG records, it’s hard to find both in pristine condition now.
@@TheOmahaIntrovert If you know the condition of the record and cover, I definitely understand. I watch online auctions where you see the trashed cover and have no idea the condition of the records themselves and they still go for high. Saw one auction with two lots of 20 records each that went for $150 each lot. As a reseller I just cannot spend those kinds of prices unless I want to lose more than I spend.
So many collectible variations on the Kiss vinyl. Destroyer has at least 15 USA variations, 9 of which are hard to find. Double Platinum has at least 9 USA variations, 3 of which are hard to find Ace Frehley has at least 10 variations, 4 of which are hard to find. Things to point out when you list them: Label: Blue / Camel / Filmworks / Custom Colour of text on the label: silver / black Pressing plant numbers Record Club pressings In case you didn't know: What's on Your Mind on the Ace Frehley album, is sometimes included in lists of unexpected Power Pop highlights.
Those Tesla albums are classics. I hate that they were lumped in with the hair bands because they were more blues base and really didn't get their do. Powerslave by Iron Maiden is also epic. Taking a poem Rime of the Ancient Mariner from the 1800s and setting it to metal is incredible. Truimph is early hard rock and comparable to Rainbow and Def Leopard of the early 80s.
Hi Matt! Chris enjoys Tesla a lot, too so who knows, we might be keeping those from this stack! Thanks for watching me show this monster bunch of records! Appreciate you being here!
Hi H. I didn’t expect that crue pic disc I have the same one that was a gift. I’d only keep the 1st crue album. and in my opinion I’d purge more than half of those. There’s a lot of B titles . I’d keep all the big names depending on the shape. If you want email me about it. 🤘❤️
Hey J! Oh yeah, about half of these will be going to my local store for store credit. The rest I'm going to evaluate some more after cleaning and test playing! :-) I will most likely get to the post office Saturday to ship you the re-do package!
12:45 - "Piece Of Mind" rules!!!
BEST Maiden Album ever!!!!!
The more I watch. Great purchase. Took me years to get what you got in a day
Thanks, Greg! Yes, now you see why I jumped on this collection! Some of these titles are too readily available anymore!
Hallo Hanna what a Great Collection of cool 80s Hard & Heavy stuff! What a great Damned LP behind you!!!!
Thanks, Alfie! I'm glad you noticed the Damned's Phantasmagoria. That one is the real winner here!
Wow Hanna. That was a killer buy. Lots of amazing titles in there. Congrats!
Thanks so much again, Brian! Will let you know about that Crue record later tonight!
@@TheOmahaIntrovert Thanks Hanna
Wow you hit a home run with that buy except for a couple of them that is a hard rock and metal collectors lucky dream purchase
I am looking forward to seeing these Hanna. Props to Louder Than Bombs in the background. It is definitely complimenting the backspace. My two favorite slower tracks. This Night Has Opened My Eyes' and 'Back To The Old House'. See you tonight~
Rob/Boston
Hey Rob! Had to display two favorites in the back that display my true taste...Smiths and the Damned! Knew you'd approve of the Smiths! I adore "This Night Has Opened My Eyes." Great stuff. Glad to have you check in again later! :-) Have a wonderful day!
I've yet to catch up with the show so the quick little clips were fun to see throughout the video. Nice job.
Hi Eric! How's it going? Ah, yeah, you gotta see Peacemaker. I'm not a fan of superhero/comic-based movies or shows usually, but I dig Peacemaker and Deadpool! Catch ya later!
Whoa! I never noticed the sparkling lights along your shelves - nice touch!😉
thank you! hehe, wait until you see my new room tour I will be filming in the next few days! I moved and my new setup is pretty amazing!
@@TheOmahaIntrovert Awesome! I look forward to watching the room tour!😀👍
Have fun with your new collection there Hanna..great video
Thanks, Curtis! I now have a healthy stack for trading! Be well.
@@TheOmahaIntrovert you to my friend
A good investment Hanna. Lots of fans want those. I agree gotta keep Budokan! Good luck with that lot.
Thanks, Danny! Yep, CT Live at Budokan and Kinks are staying with me! Take care!
I actually have the Quireboys record shown on Peacemaker. You might like that record. You are awesome Hannah!
Have a great weekend~
Rob/Boston
Take care Hanna
Rich
Take care!
Great Haul! Especially love that Bad Company record. Your collection is becoming legendary. Keep it going.
Thanks so much! The bulk of these will not be staying, but I look forward to spinning a few at a loud volume! Rock on!
@@TheOmahaIntrovert Triumph is awesome. i have all their records on vinyl. world class musicians. Their whole discocraphy is great.
Nice collection of Rock! I'm still looking for some of those albums in the wild. I haven't seen many Tesla albums either.
I just traded a bunch of these but kept the Tesla, GNR, some of the Motley Crue, and Sabbath for now.
Lots of the metal is just sing a long rock with different production. More distortion and reverb. Awesome to see ya show off some metal. Fun music.
Thanks, Brian! Not my typical showings, but this was a fun one! Rock on!
Take care and thanks for being here!
that gnr lies looks like a 1st press with the unaltered cover and inner. and check zeppelin 2 to see if its a "hot mix". just google it for more info.
Unfortunately the Led Zeppelin II is not a hot mix. Thanks for chiming in and joining the fun!
Aloha Hanna,
Awesome collection you purchased. That 2nd copy of the Grand illusion by Styx which has the JEM sticker on the shrink wrap is that an Import copy, UK, German?. Dats my personal favorite record album by that band. Thanks for sharing your record collection purchased. Mahalo Ed
Hi Ed! Mahalo! The Grand Illusion - Styx with JEM sticker is a Canadian copy! Thanks so much for watching!
Well that was nice stack of records!!
Great that you started with Hanoi Rocks when talking about Peacemaker. ;)
mr. Finglish (Bäd English Recs)

Take care.
Wowie wow. Very cool albums. Lots of keepers.

Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed this video and I appreciate the sub!
Hey there! Happy Friday! Enjoyed reading your comment! And yep, give me some punk over most of these every day!
Rock on! JC/Miami

Peacemaker was so entertaining...and the music was great. Nice collection pickup.
Thanks for seeing what was in this collection I bought, Luis! Glad you enjoyed Peacemaker as much as we did! Rock on!
Love the Mötley Crüe stuff and the Tesla 👍🏼
That's a decent collection of Heavy Metal and Hard Rock albums.
Fastway is "Fast" Eddie Clark's band. He was the lead guitarist in Classic Lineup of Motörhead. But left the band after the success in the beginning of the 1980s to form his own projet.
Skynyrd, Allmans and Sabbath are in my all time top 10 bands list, so I'm secretly hoping you kept those at least. You did give recognition to Live at the Fillmore which pleased my soul no end. 🙏
I did keep the Black Sabbath and live Allman Brothers, yes! :-)
Amazing haul you scored, Hanna! I hope you keep those Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Motley Crue records. You never know when you might want to rock out to them. 😉

Thanks, Randy! Yeah, I was happy to buy this bunch. Will be happier if I get some great trades out of it! Happy Friday!
That Klattu is a classic! Sounds like the Beatles. I suggest spinning that.
Long live Spinal Tap. How could I leave this behind?
@@toddhill7483 Ha ha. 'Big Bottom'.
Peace!
Hi Hannah:
Interesting haul, have quite a few of them.
UFO
Molly Hatchet-Flirtin With Disaster is great. I somehow ended up with two copies
I dont like Kiss or Pink Floyd either. I do love David Gilmour's last two solo records are phenomenal.
I think i need to check out 38 special records to see if i like their slbums but i do like the two songs you mentioned
I wish that Coda was the 2015 version with Travellin Riverside Blues on it.
I did the same with a huge country collection. Did find gems I kept for myself though.
Nice! It's so fun buying collections. Even more fun if you get one that is catered to your music taste, but I guess that's a rare occurrence!
Thanks for watching! I guess my want list is pretty narrow at this point, although I am still after a few easy-to-find titles. Enjoy your week!
I had a black cat RIP named Ronnie.......Ronnie James Dio. Have never seen that Black Sabbath record either. Thanks for sharing the collection!
I like the name Ronnie for a cat. R.I.P. Ronnie! Thanks so much for checking this collection video out!
Hi Hanna! Would it be possible for you to let me know once you are ready to sell Iron Maiden’s Killers and Powerslave albums as well as Judas Priest’s Sin After Sin? Curious about the Black Sabbath albums...depending on when those printings were made. Their catalog was in record label limbo for some years. I have a couple of their cd's that read: Courtesy of Dorchester Holding, issued under license to Creative Sounds LTD.
Hei, Hanna!
So many great records in those 2 boxes! Too bad that many had some cover issues but I sure hope that at least some of those have vinyl in "good enough" condition so that you could enjoy'em very much!
I hope you don't have too much snow wherever you are,

That Skynard movie is free on Tubi. It's about the plane crash. The acting is very good.
01:58 The last song on that Power of Rock n Roll album (Ain't Dead Yet) is a great song and has one of the best guitar solos of all time on it.
What is that bloody Saterday Night Fever does there behind the rest????
Exactly....that was out of place in this collection lol.
Cheers!

Wow very nice collection
you've got some nice leverage there,,,true story
My husband’s kind of find. Very fun!
Awesome, Jen! 🎸🔥🎶🎶🎶🎶 Hope you’re having a good week!
@@TheOmahaIntrovert early Priest is absolutely my favourite era of theirs. Some of that material is quite proggy.
Where do you get these collections? This collection is right in my wheelhouse, mostly.
Be interested to see what you traded. Maybe good content for another video?
Cheers!
I can’t believe that you don’t like Kiss? 😮
She has some grails there. Also a nice chatsworth in the background cool
Thanks so much for watching!
I just started collecting vinyl again about a year ago so much fun
wow amazing collection
OG 80s metal is hard to find in the wild. If you do it's usually in crappy condition or price is jacked up.
I kind of need your advice on something I recently got a Kiss album for Christmas which was called kiss Carnival of Souls I found out that the album was a bootleg and it was a counterfeit now we're on from it is illegal to own a counterfeit album and it was a German pressing once I was an English one side it is in German what do I do with it
You can still try to trade it in to your local store and they may give you store credit.
Well I do appreciate your response but I had to go through a legal battle with it and my girlfriend I had to take care of it with our attorney but everything's good but there's any records you want let me know
Glad everything is okay now.
Thank you very much love in your record you want let me know
Seems that people don't care about condition anymore.
You have an Harvest press of Killers!!!! Their first album. Keep that one, keep all the Maidens. All classics!
It's their second album mate.
Just between you and me from nature of the beast 1981 I just got that very good LP
So many collectible variations on the Kiss vinyl.
Destroyer has at least 15 USA variations, 9 of which are hard to find.
Double Platinum has at least 9 USA variations, 3 of which are hard to find
Ace Frehley has at least 10 variations, 4 of which are hard to find.
Things to point out when you list them:
Label: Blue / Camel / Filmworks / Custom
Colour of text on the label: silver / black
Pressing plant numbers
Record Club pressings
In case you didn't know: What's on Your Mind on the Ace Frehley album, is sometimes included in lists of unexpected Power Pop highlights.
Hey there. I appreciate the info/variations on the KISS releases. Will help me when I trade/sell them all! 😁
Same with Cinderella. Dressed glam but music was blues based hard rock. Night Songs is a classic album.
I will most likely get to the post office Saturday to ship you the re-do package!
Those are all great and all, but louder than bombs is one of the greatest albums ever pressed! Love it!
I agree, Daniel, and the two records I have sitting behind me are definitely more indicative of my music taste. :-)
Great pick up. Give those Triumph albums a listen. A power trio from Canada not unlike Rush.
Thanks, Christopher! Now that I've been cleaning and listening to some of these, I find that I'm actually enjoying a couple of these LPs! Cheers!
This is a great rock collection.👍
Thanks for watching!
