- In this episode we look at some (probably around half) of my Metal Records from the 80's. Most were bought when they came out for between 5-10 dollars. 1980's Metal will sadly and mostly be remembered for the so called hair bands. but the music was so much more than that. Check out the collection, I hope you see some stuff you own or want to own and happy hunting.

AWESOME COLLECTION PERFECT PICKS !!!
Awesome ! I Have quite a few !
When you got to Pretty Boy floyd. LOL!!!
You've got a great collection. What's funny is that I had a lot of the same records back in the day, and just about everytime you'd mention a particular album being, in your opinion, that band's best release, I agree with you whole heartedly in almost every instance (Def Leppard, Megadeth, etc.) Too cool!
great minds think alike.. for most it was an easy choice. Shame with most bands, the earlier stuff is always better. Few bands grow and get better.
Really nice collection of records . A lot of them are not my taste , but I am very envious of your Voivod - Nothing face album. One of my all time favourite 80's metal albums
thanks..i just got the Angel Rat RSD version this past week. I also picked up POWERMAD. Some titles from that era i am shocked to see get repressed..like Alice in Hell from Annihilator..and some records from Lizzy Borden. But i hope its so the newer kids have some good metal to listen to :)
Please tell me your priceless metal vinyl was put into polythene sleeves and not PVC?! If in PVC a long time it mists the vinyl if the PVC sleeves have turned brown!!
Poly

Why nothing from 1980?
Not sure why I didn't toss any in from 80...
All these records worth 10-15 euros per piece at the best.
here in the US, metal from this era..they could be $15 to $25 or some even more like WASP Headless Children. Record prices going up up up..
