Ella_Elitar I think that you missed her point. She isn't confident showing her legs. Its her decision if she sometimes in the future make a video about putting on her awesome looking blades. The way it sounds too me is that is not primerey about the haters. (6:02) I could be completely wrong. Thats the way I interpreted her Q & A answer. I personally love her channel anyway. I like a bit of mystery ... you don't need to show all of yourself on UA-cam. Some things a better kept private.
Iam feeling for her that she was bullied. That is something you never wish your greatest "enemy". Children can be horrible sometimes.

Adam Bell I think it has something to do with respect and the right education. If the parents don't treat their children in the right way and set no rules...they lose self-confidence and bully others. That is only my experience and there countless other reason why. Stop it ... you not only made life worse for you... no you let your anger out on other people. That is really sad. Of course it is a different story if you male or female - i guess. Boys are more physical. Girls just ignore you or ostracize other girls.
If you have a problem with someone just talk about your problems with them alone. Don't tell the enitre class to work against one person. But don't bully them...that doesn't made life better for you or them. Don't look away...everyone who let it happen is to blame as well.
Stay together and stop bullying at school/work etc (any social room). Make this world easier and brighter for all of us.

The 21st of October 2001 I was in a bad accident that smashed the front of my face and punctured my left eye with a piece of my skull and left me pretty messed up with scars covering my head.
In the following weeks and months I discovered just how shallow and petty people could be, especially before having the final surgery which made my face look much more normal.
In the process I have learned that people who will bully others because of a disability are just shallow disgusting people with a very low opinion of themselves and they literally feel threatened by you because they can see strength in you they do not possess because they do not feel as though they could survived what you have, or they do not feel as attractive, successful or what ever else.
I have also realized that those people also do you a favor by making you realize right away they have nothing of value to offer you in being friends with them and you can totally disregard them because they will not bring anything good into your life!
Isabelle, I must say I admire your tenacity and ability to be positive, having been in a situation like that myself I know it isn't easy, but after time it becomes normal, but at times you will get stuck thinking about the what-if's.
I think you make the world a better place and I hope you have great success with your channel. Also good luck learning how to drive!

I was quite surprised to learn that you are just 14yo. You are more mature than your years, that's for sure. You are a remarkable young lady. Please don't be embarrassed or nervous in addressing personal issues here; most people will be curious and yet supportive. If you feel ready to talk about any issues go for broke and don't pull any punches. If you don't then that's fine also (you're a teenage girl after all).

Something I know about running: Runners with both feet have been trained to run faster after photographic analysis has shown that they run more slowly if they try to limit the hardness of the impact of their foot with the track. They get a lot faster when their foot contacts the track with a hard impact. I'm guessing that amputee runners that have a special set of prosthesis designed for running have less spring in those. That said, the running ones are of a design that is customizable for different purposes, different body weights and different uses. They are of the arc shaped carbon reinforced sickle shape. There are others that are for walking and have a tube that goes into a shoe. They range from fairly simple to extremely complicated with electronics and computers. Of course The ones that look like real legs are typically for looks only and are probably as good as shoes that are for looks only.
Regarding prosthetic hands, I think it would be good that the design include an additional mechanical contraption that aids in putting them on and taking them off. If I had no hands, I think I'd be wanting to put them on and take them off quite frequently. I imagine they'd be useful tools but uncomfortable to wear for long.

I admire your guts to get through this. I am 67 and just had an aka. Although I did not have any pain after the amputation and very little Phantom pain it still is something I need to adapt to. I do not have a prosthetic and I am using crutches To get around I am fine. I haven't got any medical insurance and it is difficult to get a prosthetic leg because of the cost I still admire your guts to get along with life as it is.
I learned something that I didn’t know. When you said, “everyone’s a catfish now,” I turned to my wife and asked her what that meant. I am not a catfish. Your videos are a blessing to me and to others. With so many persons having lost limbs from so many wars, there is a genuine interest to know and try to understand the challenges that you personally face. Your spirit is inspiring and you express yourself in a very honest way.

I read a blog by a lady who's paralysed from the neck down, and she said that the question she gets asked most frequently (always by women) was whether she still has periods. It's kind of weird that someone would assume that a girl or woman wouldn't have them just because she had another disability.
I’ve spent a week at a Boy Scout high adventure camp, and I learned early on that water is not wet. It’s confusing to me but I’m like 5 days younger than you, so I’m still figuring this out anyway.
