I’m a double amputee as of last year. I lost both legs thankfully my team of doctors saved my hands. The way you answered the question on mental health is exactly how felt. At first you do just want to do your best then that time comes along when it’s like damn. I have a 1yr old daughter and a 3yr old son so it’s often I thinking damn. We always find a way to make it work though! I too don’t have anyone saying anything hurtful but I tend to hurt myself when I think how awkward I must look to others. It’s me just being self conscious but still it’s hurtful feeling so imperfect at times. I’m glad I tuned into this q&a. I needed to hear this today! You’re truly a beautiful young lady. You inspire me!

You took on some really tough stuff here, and talked about self love, and there are many people who do not love themselves, and this leads to terrible depression. You must generally be a joy to be around. A rare and wonderful quality indeed!

If I had a daughter I’d want her to have your spirit and I’d be so proud. Your can do attitude at such a young age is inspiring and that you’re putting yourself out there on the internet. It will really help others who’ve been through something similar. Of course you’re going to have periods when you feel down about stuff in your life and that’s ok. Everyone does. And it’s ok for you to share your struggles and for people to care and wish things were sometimes easier for you. That’s not pity, it’s empathy and care as you’re a lovely person.
I think your hair looks great! You are just completely gorgeous to be honest. I much prefer hair down, but it suits you either way ;)

Your jam up! Your determination is astronomical! I do have a question for you, have you ever rode a motorcycle? I’m curious Bc that’s my stress relief and I know it can be a stress relief for a passenger. I know a crotch rocket would be a no, but I ride a harley and could think a few ways that you could take a comfortable ride(there is a type of seatbelt that hooks on a clam shell). If you could, would you take a ride? Just to feel the wind is amazing! And thank you for sharing your story. You have my support and blessings!

Awesome video! Hey about your hair and tying it, you might have tried it, but if not I wonder whether using elastic 90s/2000s headbands (the huge wideish ones that go right around your head) could work for you to tie your hair up rather than little hairtiee/bobbles, as you’d have the option to use both arms with a headband being big enough. They can be a little bulky as hair ties, but work just as well and aren’t really much more noticeable than a scruncie when tied up.
(Also sorry for the random suggestion I know it’s super annoying people giving suggestions all the time, I’m in a wheelchair so get things a lot lol. It just struck me then that people don’t use those elastic headbands much now days, but it might be useful trying with something bigger) :)

Why your videos show up in my feed, I have no idea, but that being said, keep it up! On the topic of mental health and coming to the realization of no hands or feet, technology has come very far very recently and is only going to get better very fast. Some people are already having Prosthetics that they control with their minds much like they would with a normal hand or foot. And if anyone deserves that, it's definitely you.

Yes I do agree without out a day that goes by she is beautiful but I give my loving time to help people with these people with disability no matter where iam at the time and still do today it's just the way iam with updates like this and will continue to do so

ADVICE FOR PONYTAIL I have an idea for you!! Try the “Dad method” and use a vacuum to suck up all ur hair and then see if u can use ur stump to flick the hair tie off the vacuum onto ur hair

Kristi sita has just 1 arm amputated but she uses prosthetics but not in a traditional form. She might be worth picking her brain. There's nothing you can't do just things you're still working on.
Her situation is very different to mine with where her arm is amputated ❤️

the 5'4" was your height before? or with your present legs? If you go for longer legs is there a limit for you due to weight or because you don't have knees the effort needed to walk as you described ,basically would you go for 5'10" say ?
No ones happy all the time don't be afraid to have a rant once in a while its healthy to get share those feels too.
