She's only 14 I thought she was an adult! My gosh she went from 1% chance of living to national championship on the trampoline as a quad amputee in 7 years! That's downright remarkable! I never knew meningitis could lead to amputation. My father has a leg amputation and I know how hard it is just to learn to walk again I can't imagine this girls spirit she's a strong one! Her family seem so supportive and proud of her I wish her and her family the best!

Would’ve been even harder for her if it happened to her as an adult. Bravo to her and her parents for not letting it get in the way of living her life as normal, if not even better than.

yeah, totally! so many ppl can take your words and completely take it wrong,. its hard to see heart sometimes when reading others words....its hard to express FEELING sometimes and things come out wrong! i get what your saying. My son was born without his right leg, and has a partial left leg, so things likely would of been alot different and harder in some cases if he had his natural legs and then lost them..! Children are so adaptable, and can mold to anything with the right attitude!

I have been disabled since then, not because, "I don't want to", but because of physical limitations I have 'skeletally', unless I choose to paralyze myself. Pain everyday, but it is manageable - without pain meds!!!! I have a NEUROSTIMULATOR implant attached to my Root Nerves that come right off the spinal chord. YEA AWESOME!!!!
