Excellent overview. These are awesome LEDs. I have had mine for almost 5 years on my Toyota Tacoma and they have had zero problems even with my truck parked outside through all the frigid Minnesota winters. Beam pattern is great and because of the bulb design, oncoming drivers aren't blinded. At this point I can call these a true upgrade over OEM halogens!
I bought led switchbacks with the built in resistor. I had a problem with the new ones and they sent me new ones no questions asked. Their customer service is awesome.
Love the LasFit H11 and 9005 Led bulb, however it only lasted 3 years for me. Pro: The light output is perfect, color is great - even beam, their customer service are excellent. CON: fan is a bit noisy. They are about $50-$60. After 3 years, the aluminum fan casing rusted and stop working all together. Just replaced new Lasfit H11 bulb, I guess I am expecting another 3 years.
Thanks for the feedback! I haven’t had them for that long yet but so far so good. I would agree with you on their customer service, output and color temp too! Thanks for dropping a comment and telling us all your experience! 🙏🏽
I bought these a few days ago trying to install in a 5th Gen. Toyota 4Runner. The h11 is IMPOSSIBLE to install. Gasket issue not resolve able. Still trying
Great video. I'm thinking about doing the same LASFIT + DEPO combo on my GX470. I'm wondering since it's been about a year now how they have held up and if you've had any problems. thanks.
It's a great cost effective way to get a newer look and feel! The DEPO assemblies are doing great. No fogging or cracking of the plastic. The LASFIT bulbs are still going strong and haven't had any issues with them.
It's a great video. I didn't know lasfit commercialized such a generic COB Chinese bulb that are sold with different brand names around the globe. Cheap, low quality, bad light output. And in a reflector headlight they will dazzle other drivers. I wouldn't recommend any build with CoB chip, CSP are the only ones that provides good quality output.
5500K Is pure White 6000K would be White with Blue Most Companies are not super accurate to the actual Kelvin rating color system I do have to admit there is sharp looking bulbs and what a great Video bro
It only depends on the led chips, not all of them are the same. It honestly depends what type of led chips, that what kelvin will make from an led bulbs.
@@toyotabrony yes you did Mention the led diodes but my references are Refering to No Led Is Going off a True Kelvin Scale 5000k is always white and 6000k is always Bluish white no matter what 4000k is warm yellow and 3000k is always bright yellow led diodes are not consistent on Kelvin rating because all the chips are made differently with different diodes
@@AntonioClaudioMichael some of these companies, makes led look different for the kelvins, I guess it depends how they make. But ur right, they will always be what kelvin temperature is.
Such a Great video from beginning to end really appreciate it... Just received my Lasfit today.. Will try to put them in tomorrow.... First thing I noticed that that both boxes are exactly the same so I don't know how to tell which one is the high beam and low-beam... Maybe it doesn't make a difference.. As in your vid... Wish me luck 🤞 Thanks again 👍
Thank you for the support I appreciate you! And I'm glad you're upgrading the headlights on your car! If you look at the back of the boxes it's should tell you which bulbs are inside the box. Start with taking out the low beams, once you have one of the light bulbs out inspect it for a number (i.e. 9005 or H11) then match the new bulbs to that, easy! The different bulbs will secure in differently so try to make sure you have the right bulb for the correct socket! Good luck my friend and thanks for watching 😃
I got them in My low beams and love them! but high beams I tried them and they are bright as hell but don't seem like they focus the amount of light down road i want its kind like they have a lot of range but it doesn't focus on the road I put high end halogen high beams and and it is great the led low beams and high end halogen high beams are a great pair together i also live in a area that sees lots of rain
Thanks for sharing your experience! Different style headlight housings from different manufacturers can have major effects on light focusing and light output even when using the same bulb. I'm glad you found a system that works for you. Might I suggest some amber fog lights or something of that nature for the rain? Yellow (amber) tends to do better in snow and rain as it doesn't have as harsh of a reflection off of those wet surfaces!
I just uploaded the two videos with different setups if you get a chance to watch them I would gladly take any opinions I'm trying to figure out what I like best
I think they're worth it, for the price they work amazing. If you wanna spend a little more they usually have different grades and higher end lights, but these work just fine.
I really appreciate it, unfortunately I’m not an affiliate so there’s no way for that but I’m glad I could help and I’m glad you’re going ahead with these bulbs!
I believe they have the same lumens, high beams aren’t a necessarily brighter it’s more about the angle of the light, high beams generally project light further down road
So far so good. They stay in place and haven't moved on me. The car sits outside and the cold Colorado winter weather hasn't affected their performance at all. For the price, these are some solid bulbs.
If you’re referring to the locking tab breaking, that was more a user stupidity and lack of patients thing than a poor quality thing. Plus they had no hesitation on sending me a new set of bulbs even though it was my fault. They are still going strong even today a year later.
It says on their website that any light bulbs except fog lights are not considered street legal, I have opt7 fluxbeam and I'm assuming they are not street legal as I'm just finding out now after having them for about 3 years (one lowbeam just started flickering) my other vehicle has lasfit bulbs and they work great, a little noisy but good. Do you or anyone have any concerns about them?
I feel like most police officers wouldn’t ticket or even care much about them. Honestly most new cars are coming with LED headlights. The only concern I would have is with their switchback lights being used in the yellow mode as headlights. But use at your discretion and check local laws.
@@AdventureRigCO My concern would be if someone got in an accident and they tried to blame it on your headlights being too bright. If the packaging says not for street use then it sounds like a lawsuit.
I mean people will try anything to get stuff for free. I guess it is possible this could happen. But I guess it’s a risk you have to take into consideration when buying them for yourself
Sorry for the late reply here, but yeah they're still working great! Haven't had a single issue with them so far! Top notch. I might want to upgrade to one of their more expensive/brighter bulbs. These LC6 bulbs are great but not as bright as I was hoping for.
It’s vary possible they’re the same. Most things these days are made in a factory and companies just slap their name on it and sell them at different prices. It could also be a cheaper version somehow. Who really knows anymore lol if they work and you’re happy that’s all that matters
Do these bulbs seem to wobble when installed? I bought both low and high beam lights for my 19 Ram and they seem wobbly...maybe I didn’t install correctly?
I'm sorry to hear about your install. I don't think you would have installed them incorrectly. On my 2007 GX470 they fit very snug and don't wobble on me at all. Lasfit has a great customer support team (they at least helped me a ton) maybe reach out to them and see what they have to say. Good luck! 👌🏽
The piece with the 3 teeth is separate from the actual bulb.. it’s weird.. i put in that spinning piece.. then you gotta push in and twist so it catches... THEN, you put the led bulb into the middle hole of the piece that you entered
I think for the low price these bulbs are, compared to other models and their performance I think these are quality led lights. Inexpensive doesn't mean cheap.
Keep looking around I'm sure there are other companies out there that are comparable! LED headlights are the way to go! Good luck and thanks for watching 🤘🏼
