Awesome and glorious tip at 1:44 !!! In my case I had a "black" spot at driver's side, I thought it was normal, just after some "professionals" upgraded halogen to LED bulbs in my car (Hyundai Getz, 2007, H4-style lamps). Your video helped me a lot. Now I can drive at night without illumination issues! Obviously, without blinding the incoming traffic (low beam). Thank you so much. A huge hug from Colombia.
Thanks for posting this. I just realized I've driving the past 3 years with my LEDs rotated incorrectly. After rotating them to 3 and 9 o clock, it felt much better driving at night.
Got my lights today and installed on my titan xd, definitely had to do some aiming afterwards but they work wonderful and shipping was fast thank you so much
Thank you. Hands down the most direct to the point explanative easily understandable video when it comes to proper LED installation in regards to rotation depth insertion and why certain beam patterns look the way they do Thank you awesome man!
I have a questions i just bought this led bulbs from lasfit ok i know the that the lighting Chip should be 3 o'clock and 9 but what about the little cut out on the bulb. How do i set it? Towards the top or towards bottom
Hello, could you tell us your vehicle make, model and year? What LED bulbs have you bought from Lasfit? May I know why you want to cut on the bulb and how you cut the bulb?
So, the LED's in the headlight should be facing to the sides (left and right) and not up and down inside the housing, right? My beams on a 2008 hyundai sonata look like crap during the night and I thought my LED's came defective or something like that.
LAplus H11 LED bulbs don't have a set screw, so you can rotate it freely. You can turn the LED bulb until the beam pattern is ok. What's your vehicle make, model and year? Is it projector headlight or regular reflector headlight?
Hello, I'm from India(Right hand drive) I installed an HID kit in my tata nexon EV. The left beam is a bit angled (currently in 2.30 and 8.30 instead of 3 and 9), what should I do to fix this issue?
@@lasfitvehiclelife That's not what I meant, my low beam projectors had H7 Halogens in them(55W 3000K each). They had perfect cut off, but poor brightness. I retrofitted (swapped those) with Osram HID kit H7 (6000K 35W each). The cut off is similar to my stock setup for right beam. But for left beam its angled at 10degrees compared to the perfect right beam. Also left beam creates an unwanted hotspot in top left corner and some dark spots in front. Could you please share your email id or social media handles, I could send you the pictures for reference
Fix ur led bulb orientation, and have the led chips facing 3-9 o’clock. And adjust ur beam pattern height, u gotta have a flat surface area and aim ur lights to the wall and use another vehicle ad a guide to see how high is ur beam pattern, if it’s close to the edge of the car window. That’s what u need.
😆😆😆The new prototype of high beams is available. We already tested several different prototypes on Passat, work perfectly. Please send an email to cs@lasfit.com Once new products are available, I will inform you.

I have installed your h8 plus in my reflector headligjts and when I alighn the chip in the 12 and 6 its not as bright. It's to bright in the 9 and 3 position. Is it OK to leave in the 12 and 6 position
No. Ur not supposed to position the led chips putting 6-12 o’clock. That blinds propel for that. And of course it’s super bright, that is the point we’re u need the hotspot short directly down on the road with a wide beam pattern spreads. Always adjust to 3-9 o’clock. That’s ur best thing to do.😊

Just installed LA Plus Series H11 LED Bulbs 60W 6000LM 6000K Plus H11 Extension Cable To Replace H11B Bulbs × 1 into Veloster turbo. Output pattern seems appropriate but even though they are whiter, they seem no brighter than the halogens. Not sure what to do.

Yes, the correct direction is the LED chips facing side by side with the wire cord down at 6 o'clock.
Very nice video. Thanks for taking the time and explaining what to look for when clocking LEDs.
Which are the instructions to rotate the orientation of the bulb to obtain the 9 and 3 position on LaPlus H11? Does it have a set screw? Thanks!
LAplus H11 LED bulbs don't have a set screw, so you can rotate it freely.
You can turn the LED bulb until the beam pattern is ok.

If the HID bulb socket is fixed, can't be adjusted, you can't adjust the beam pattern.

How do I adjust HB3s for an 05 Yukon? They're a circular look and the beam is inconsistent.
U don’t. For low beams they are adjustable. For 9005/HB3 high beams. U don’t need to adjust them, as they act like a combo beam.

Projector or reflector. Ur led bulbs with 2 sided led chips will work fine for 3-9 o’clock.
