Not into boats or pontoons as I live in the U.K we don't have the weather for pontoons but love Zach styles of video's! A real myriad of builds & videos to watch.
Hey Zach, thank you for the video! I watch a lot of videos on UA-cam, and I *always* watch them in 1.5X or 1.75X. Yours is the only one that I watch in 1.0X. I really like it. I had never heard about pontoons before, until I saw your restoration on that first one here. I don't live near the water, and I live in Brazil, so, maybe, that's why. I like the concept and I really identify with the way you do things. I think we'd be great friends in another life. Thank you and keep up the good work!
I've done one. There is zero comparison. You can build 2 for the price of 1 pontoon boat. I'm currently doing my because he has shown me ots possible, and I'm 4k in my 7k pontoon, and it looks amazing
where you mounted the fuel tank vent it will constantly fill your fuel tank with water or rain it should be on the side somewhere not facing straight up. otherwise keep up the awesome work I really enjoy your videos great work.
So I’m putting an offer in on a lake house, but it’s more of a pond house. But I noticed one of the neighbors had a dock, and another neighbor had a paddleboat. so I found a $500 dock and an $800 paddleboat. I might get if I get the house. Definitely influenced by you.
Awesome, awesome build man. I think I would leave the aluminum transition piece as is. The black will absorb the heat so it will burn standing on it but more importantly, aesthetically speaking, leave the beautiful black parts to the outside trim and framing (if that is going to be your intentions while the inside will be the colors you have ie. Tans, taupe, khaki, grays, white, cement, earthy tones, etc. Orrrr, you can just do whatever YOU want, it’s YOUR boat:)! Either way, absolutely beautiful work so far! Keep crushing it!!
have you thought about getting a nice piece of teak trimmed and cut to that radious? or heck formed to that radious? a nice piece of wood that will just need some maintenance once in a while might just be what you need?
Looks like you're going to have another really nice one off custom pontoon boat someone's going to be lucky to buy and enjoy cruising on. Definitely designing and building pontoon boats is your calling.
Looks great and I love the powder coated trim. You were right to 45 the beams on it. That hides them perfectly. I would do the floor trim section too or paint it if the cost is to much for that one piece. Why didn't you powder coat the corner radius pieces? I have loved all of your pontoon builds so far. Al of them have been great and all different but all fantastic. Great job!
Awsome it's looking great just don't like fire pit it takes up to much room where it is and it say hot on top surface not sure but hey great work love the build
Thanks for checking it out! Zach got an exclusive look at a pre--production model. The production model will be slightly smaller. Also due to safety/liability it needs to say hot. In reality the top doesn't get any warmer than what you'd expect from a normal fire pit.
What did you do for the seam in the flooring between the two ...where did you get the fencing....there is a company that makes marine grade vinyl flooring that is textured so it isn't slippery and has a little padding on the back ..I put it on mine that is way better than normal flooring
Did you happen to make sure that the LEDs you bought for the pontoons were rated for out of water use? I’ve been researching some underwater transom lights and noticed many of them specifically require to be submerged for heat. I would hate for your lights to go out prematurely and have to rip the boat apart to replace them.
Please provide new tags for this video. I spent an hour looking up clear pontoon transparent pontoon see through pontoon dude build lighted pontoon boat pontoon build led light wOOO DANG none of that searched. I searched led pontoon and scrolled for 10 minutes until the video showed up on the 50th page or so. Just a helpful observation. Dude this thing is amazing and I really hope to see it on the water at night. Good luck!
Unless that fire pit feels a lot skinnier than right now, it just looks like the wrong place for it. With it's hot top warning, somebody is gonna get burned. Can you say "exploding beer bottle"? Otherwise, great video as always. Thanks
Thanks for checking it out! Zach has a pre-production model. The production model will be about 2" skinnier. It was custom designed to fit perfectly in the front of a pontoon boat. We've been using the original prototype for 6 years now and it works great. The 'HOT' call out is for the same reason McDonalds has "HOT" written on their coffee. The lawyers need to make their money. But in reality the unit doesn't get more than warm. No exploding beer bottles here lol
Thanks for checking it out! Zach got an exclusive look at a pre--production model. The production model will be slightly smaller. What you lose in a little bit of unused walkway you gain in warmth, cupholders, storage and an extra cooler! Game changer for us northern's in the Spring and Fall!
Zach, I think the place where you put the fuel vent, will bring water into your fuel tank. Should be mounted lateral

I appreciate that the screws are in the trim at the end of the lines in the vinyl. It's the small details.
Please do a cost comparison to just buying a brand new Pantoon
His price or a regular price? Cause I'm sure he gets a major discount with all the advertising he does for them.
After the build is complete I’ll do a cost breakdown
@@ultimaterebuilds7127can we also get a video with a link to all the stuff you put into the build. Would love to build it.

Probably nicer too
All my favorite channels have the best pups who just want to be around whatever you are into. This is no exception ;-)

nice work on the bent aluminum for the change in flooring. that was probably a pretty satisfying moment when it worked so well.

My .02 Leave the transition strip aluminum, but powered coat the corner trim!
Zack you should build a powder coat station - there are some really cool homejob ovens that are DYI module kits
Excellent work on the transition, super creative and perfect implementation.
Great work man. Always appreciate your hard work making these videos.
I don't think you should change anything, keep up the good work.
Get organized with your you tube videos, add part 2, part 3 to your pontoon build videos.
You hit it out of the ballpark!

teak would go great with your tan seats too I think.
So glad to see the boat build again!

Never seen a boat fire pit like that! Nice
Now you have 😈🔥
@@FloatingFlame Indeed I have. Do you do a smaller one that fits a standard pedestal mount as I have a small motor cruiser, not a pontoon boat.
@@Nick_G7IZR no plans for a pedestal model. That is a little too top heavy and doesn't give us confidence in safety which is our #1 concern.
The fill cap and breather would look better countersunk into the deck.

Can't not wait for the next video in this! Watched every one, love it.
Your editing was on fire in this video!
Going to be GORGEOUS Zach!!! GR8 job!
Looks good..keep the vids coming
Great stuff Zach!
Awesome video Zach!!
Keep up the videos bro i love em, and try to upload a little more often please 🙏
Can’t wait for the next installment of this “Ultimate Rebuild!!”
I am loving this build! Pumped to see how it turns out.
If the trim between the two carpets is most likely covered, them spray paint that trim. Save some money 💰 good.job
Where did you buy the fence from?
Looks great. I would get the corner caps coated as well. 👊🏻

Depending on the motor you put on it you could put a healthy price tag on it. Nice job 👏 👍🏻
Hey there. Love your channel. Could you tell me where you got the livewell? Thanks so much!
When you want to put like silicone or something on your screws when you're going through the wood?
Great episode bro!!
So far, looking great. 👀👍🏼
Looks fantastic!
Are you doing a second deck again?
We have the same motorcycle. Be safe!!
how hot does the metal tabletop get with the fire on

What’s the hold up on this build? 4 months since the last video?
I feel like Zach would put a fire place in his jeep if he could.
Here ya go
Ya

Being a custom home built boat how do you get a registration
You go get it inspected. This one might need a coast guard inspection. not certain.
dude! what happened to your knee? that looks knarley! Clever build you are doing. Would like to see a speedboat build.
Bomb ass. Keep it coming
Looks good but we know you could build a more awesome enclosure for the fire pit!
Isnt't that fuel vent going to collect water like that? Seems like a horrible setup. Maybe I'm missing something?
Drain holes are in it
@@ultimaterebuilds7127 I commented before I finished the video, I just know water in fuel sucks. This build is coming out amazing!

What is with the fire tables? If its cold who is on a pontoon bruh?
Not powder coating the corners kind of turned me off

The Floating Flame is a little big for that location. Will you bolt it down or create clips so you can move it or use it elsewhere?
You just lost all your leg room by putting that extremely bulky fire pit in.
