I feel f you can afford it you can have it. I’ve been criticized for how much I spend on vet bills for my dogs and cats but I’ve earned the money and saved it so I can do whatever I like with it. Nobody is deprived since it’s just me and I don’t smoke, drink or carouse so I feel I can do whatever I want. Go ladies! If it gives you pleasure buy it.
When my husband and I were first married almost 50 years ago, the first item we purchased as a couple was a limited edition print. My mother was upset because we had nowhere to sit and eat except in the living area, yet our wall was decorated. Today, we have a collection of antique maps, antique botanicals and limited editions, most not framed. We purchased what we loved and to support artists, not to hang on our walls for the admiration of others. We love our collections and have many happy memories associated with them. What my children and grandchildren do with them doesn’t matter to me. Collecting is as joyful to me as stitching. Thank you for reminding us that we all come to this craft with unique points-of-view, skill sets, financial means and reward systems. Kindness and support is what makes this community an oasis of calm in a world of chaos.
If it wasn’t for you two wonderful ladies showing us the beautiful charts, fabric and threads, I wouldn’t know about any of the designers or companies that provide such things. Your enthusiasm and joy for cross stitching is contagious and although I cannot afford to buy all of it I can live vicariously through you and find the ones that I really want to stitch. Thank you❣️
I got haul, you got haul, all God's children got haul. It may be 1 thing or lots of things. Or it could be plastic project bags or fancy handmade bags or ziploc bags. It's fun to see the different things people acquire with this hobby. Thanks for being so kind with your words. Both of you are so full of stitchy positivity and are lots of fun.
Oh you ladies have spoken to my heart and it’s not the first time. I’m a tax accountant and Brenda you know where I’m coming from. My stitching time is limited and there are times non existent. I love my hobby. I’m a process stitcher as that pertains to my knitting and sewing projects as well. I love everything about the process from learning of a new chart’ planning and finding just the right fabric and threads and it doesn’t matter to me how long it takes me. I savor the stitch. I actually feel a little sad when I complete a project. If I’m stitching for a loved one I think of them with every stitch and miss that when the piece is finished. You have no idea how many times I’ve been shamed for not finishing things, taking so long, the size of my stash that I no longer share my passion with most people. Thank you for your Flosstube and making me realize that’s OK! Some just don’t get it and it’s a shame. Our hobby is a precious gift and I treasure it and our Flosstube community is a wonderful place to share it!
Thank you Jacqueline! We agree 100% with every word you said!!!!!!!! While Brenda is better at finishing things, I know she agrees with the sentiment that finding out about, shopping for linen and floss, etc. is as much fun as the actual stitching!
Hey kids - so happy to see you. And so glad you found that little Mary Frances sewing book. My mother (or maybe my grandmother even!) gave me a copy of that when I was a young lass and I have treasured it ever since. ❤
Great Flosstube today, I really enjoy watching the Antique Needleworkers, I’m. I with you Brenda I wrote quite a few charts down to get. I love collecting Charts it’s like a hobby, like I collect books. We should never apologize for whatever we buy, because like you said it brings us happiness 😊
My budget, my haul. Your haul, my envy😂😂😂. My bills are paid, and I’ll never stitch it all, but I love “fondling” my linen and leafing through charts. When I think about my daughters shaking their heads and saying “what was she thinking”, I get a big chuckle. Love you girls.
I consider my charts the same as books in my library. They are my stitching library and some are pieces of art. I enjoy looking at them as much as stitching them. So keep on enabling girls!
So I've only watched the first 5 minutes and already felt the need to comment! Thank you for stressing that stitching is a hobby that brings us joy! Stitching takes me away from anything negative that is taking up space in my head. I'm so glad I'm a stitcher, quilter and a little bit of a knitter too - all of my hobbies bring me joy! I have a co-worker who asked me if I had enough wall space for all of my cross stitch projects. 🙄 She obviously doesn't get it! Love you guys! ❤
Thank you Cindy!!!!!!! I am always bummed when a coworker asks what are you going to do with that....or how many of those do you need? They just don't get it.....
Thank you for your kind comments on stitching and collecting. I have long ago achieved SABLE (Stash Acquired Beyond Life Expectancy) status. I retired a few years ago, and I find joy in just looking at it. I have a pile of stitched things that I may never frame but have had the joy of stitching them. And the best bonus? My daughter is a stitcher and will inherit it all when I go! Until then I will enjoy collecting, stitching, and the beauty of it all. I love our community, our humor, our love for each other, and our caring. It's the best!
I totally agree with you that you don’t have to finish what you have started. There is a lot of joy in handwork and sewing. I was 2 years old when my mom passed. She did handwork too. I have a needlepoint that she had started but passed before it was finished. My grandparents decided to have it framed, just as it was and I am so thankful. I have it hanging in my bedroom. It is very precious to me. Yes…..no one should judge, do what brings you joy. We need more joy in this world!
Thank you thank you for your love of the hobby and the fun of collecting. I'm just back into this for a few years and I am loving collecting! There's so much and so many more wonderful designers than ever before! My dream is to collect enough that when I meet my Maker, my kiddos will have an estate sale of just my stitchy collection and I will make a fellow stitcher happy as they continue their collection! Thanks ladies for your love of this craft!
Oh my goodness…….. Once again you two have graced Liz and I with such words of kindness. Thank you deeply from the bottom of my heart❤ And you returned the favor and had me pausing and adding to cart faster than lightening. Love you both!
Get SO excited when your videos are posted, you always make me laugh. My goal this year is to complete as many WIPs as I can and NOT buy too much. I retired last year so my budget is limited and I have plenty of patterns etc. to stitch so we will see how I do! Just sitting and looking through all my patterns makes me happy. Amen to not being judgmental we are all different and are in different stages. Love you both!
My only issue is buying something you can't afford and it is a detriment to someone else. Beyond that, buy what you love, don't buy what you love. It's all fine in the big picture. you are not taking the asset with you, whether it is money or a cross stitch kit. As a retired hospice nurse, I accompanied hundreds of people on their last journey, not a one with a bank book in their hand. Buy, don't buy, you are not taking anything with you. Use your assets to enjoy yourself while you are here.
Oh, I absolutely adore you both. I’ve been watching you probably for the last eight months faithfully. I am a beginner stitcher. I have been stitching for two years, but not very much because I do a lot of FolkArt pillows with wool and fabric. I have been making more time to crossstitch in the last month and I am loving it. The only bad thing is, I don’t get enough exercise because I wanted to sit and stitch.😂😂😂😂 anyway, I just finished a pattern and I messed it up like four times and I just always keep hearing Brenda say I believe it’s Jean from the attic always says just move on just keep going. You don’t have to rip everything out. So I’m going to make it a cute little pillow for a bowl on my coffee table. I forget what they’re called but I’m proud of it and it’s not perfect but the more I stitch the better I will become so thank you for all your encouragement and your kind words. You both are just so awesome. And yes I love Liz and Shelley. They are the most sweetest friends and wow wow wow do they have a Lotta hauls this week?!! I sat and watched the whole thing. I actually watched it twice . …anyway, I’m watching yours right now and I just adore you both. Thank you so much and you’re both awesome stitcher!!! ❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much for your opening comments! I was beginning to feel guilty about my stash and haul. I not only want to stitch them all, but I just enjoy looking at them and planning. Wonderful video, so many pretty projects!! Best to you both
Thank you Nancy!!! We just need to enjoy what we have and what may be coming down the pike...but always enjoy just where we are today. (or at least try to!) Hugs!
Oh, goodness, you two! I haven't gotten past the 5 minute mark and this one really speaks to me. Totally changed my outlook on stitching & collecting. Thank you!
I personally LOVE seeing all the stash everyone has. I have lots, no organization, will never come close to stitching it all, but I love it all. I’m slowly coming to terms that it will all end up at Goodwill, but that just means that someone will be thrilled with a good find. People, life is too short. Don’t be envious or resentful of someone’s joy. Share in the joy.🥰
Thank you so much for reminding us that each of us has our own right way of collecting and stitching. I have way more items in each category of HOBBY that I enjoy than I will ever finish. I LOVE MY STUFF! I am so happy to watch and realize that I am not alone in what I do. Romonia
THANK YOU for your comments on the joy of stitching and how we all have different ways to enjoy stitching and not judge others! I love charts, I love aida and lugana and now linens and I have so much fun getting them, kitting them along with all the different flosses, Hand dyed floss and silks from all over the world. I recently got a rather snarky remark by a floss tuber (who I no longer follow) for saying I had way too much stuff and it was ridiculous. It truly hurt my heart because of all of the support and happy mail I had given this person. Anyway, everyone just be nice, and I say for at 97% of all needleworkers/cross stitching enthusiasts they are SOOOOOOOO nice and supportive. SO, THANK YOU for you two for speaking up and saying what you did! Love you both!!!!
Thank you Beth!!!!! We are sending you a big hug to get over that negative comment! Sheesh!!!! Actually, there is no such thing as "way too much stuff!" We will stand by that until the day we are no longer here!
So many lovelies to look at! I am way to OCD to have more than 1-2 samplers going at any time ….but I LOVE to see all of yours! So keep showing all of your stash and WIPS! And Laura, The Wishing Thorn is located in CT. Just did some finishes for her….her work is lovely!
OMG ... stop video and jump on Etsy to order those pins! I have never done that before. You both are such enablers! ( And I appreciate it) I'm am so sorry for any negative comments you receive. I cant even imagine that peoople can be so rude and worry about what someone else does. If you cant be postive and kind, then worry about yourself, not others. Your comments were wonderful, thank you! I agree, my crafting brings me pleasure, I sit in my craft room daily and just look at all my treasures, fabric, quilts, stamping supplies, and cros stitch. I'm blessed to have hobbies, and a way to relax after work. Loved your stash hall, what beautiful patterns you both have
Thank you so much Linda!!!!! Happy you were able to order some of those beautiful pins! We appreciate your kind words and totally agree with you on everything you said!
Ohhh Brenda & Laura you are EXACTLY correct. Supporting each others nuttiness is what we need to do. Life is so hard & community is where it is. I don't like a lot of wips but I do love watching others crazy Shenanigans. I love watch & cheering for our community & our love for stitching, knitting, spinning what ever. We are all a love for the art & there's so much out there. There is stuff I may not want to stitch but find beautiful because who is stitching it & what fabric & threads they choose to use. I love someone else for their finishing, & someone else for another reason. Thank you so much for being here you make my day better.
I just found your channel 2 weeks ago. I haven't watched all of them yet. I have a stash dating 1983 to 2023. Don't know if I'll live long enough to stitch all, but I enjoy the process, the finishes I've created, and enjoy my stash. Enjoying watching the two of you.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you Brenda and Laura for your words about stash and shopping and collecting all the pretty things. What joy my stitching, quilting and my sewing room bring me. I look forward to your videos because I know you lovely ladies understand.
So happy for everyone who can collect large stashes. I’m limited due to fixed income and age (75), but I really have fun living vicariously through FlossTube. Great video girls.
Hi girls!!!! I had to stop the video to put in my 2 cents! I love what you both said...There is No WAY I will stop buying new charts! I want to support these wonderful designers and I also have stash that I have not sewn yet...I love the hunt and and I love looking at all my new and old charts! You go girls!!!!! Love you 2!
When I feel guilty for buying more stash (on a fixed income), I just watch your video or another avid “collector” and no more guilt! 👍. 🥰. One thing I am doing is building my stash of DMC. I have every color (started 50 years ago) but I’m getting at least 3 skeins of every color so I can, hopefully, be prepared to stitch whatever. I use only DMC and Aida.
Great little talk on stitching and collecting. I always feel guilty about buying new stash and starting new projects when I still have more than I will ever stitch. I needed to hear that!!!! NO MORE GUILT, JUST JOY! Thank you ladies for the inspiration and enabling. You're the best! Happy stitching!
Oh Brenda… 😭😭😭 Thank you SO SO very much for the kind comments from you and Laura and the shout out for Shellie and me! We adore you both!!! Your beautiful home, your generous and warm spirit inspires me and brings me joy every episode! I 1000% agree, be kind, encourage others, do what brings you joy, and if you don’t have anything nice to say then don’t say anything at all! There is enough hurtful people in the world so let’s make our community a community of love and encouragement!! Love you ladies lots and lots!!! Liz❤
You are so right. I’m 100% with you !!! And by the way I love love love your flosstube. Laura and Brenda and your flosstube are my favourite. I’m going through some difficult times and watching you ladies brighten up my days. Thank you ❤❤
Absolutely love your intro! I don’t look at someone else’s haul with envy. I look at it for learning what is out there. Then I decide whether it is my cup of tea. Great show!! Hugs!❣️
I love seeing your stash and haul. I now have a whole page of notes on charts you showed and now I need to go look for them. A stash is a good thing! I also quilt a lot and I have a bedroom just for my fabric that I have collected over the years. No need to go to the store! I hadn't crossed stitched for a number of years, but now that I have been back into it the last 3 years I need to build up my stash of linen. I love it when you show your linen haul! The hand dyed linen is such a treat to stitch on.
Just love your flosstube. So fun how you communicate with each other. I was one that thought wwow how on earth are the haulers of fabric and patterns going to finish all those wonderful designs. Well you brought me back to earth. Enjoy is the word l need to remember. But l think l am so jealous that you have such great designers in your country! We here in South Africa have hardly any. I went searching and enquiring on our local groups and nothing. Also importing the patterns are not cheap. Example for your $1, l can buy a whole loaf of bread. The exchange rate is $1 - R17. Terrible. But every now and then l will save up and buy something in pdf. I am a lucky one. There are the printed on fabric ones that are much cheaper to get. But l have not tried those yet! Old fashion real aida stitcher here. Huge hugs and thanks for sharing.
Thank you Susan! Some of the PDFs that I get are really reasonable and can be stitched with DMC. Do you need any suggestions of places to look for samplers that are affordable in PDF? If so, let me know. duetabode@comcast.net
We got our Gas bill so after the shock I decided to take a hiatus on spending on my knitting, cross stitch, quilting for the month of February. So now I walk in my sewing room I pick something from the floor to work on. It has been so much fun. It’s fun to remember when I bought whatever I pick and it’s so fun seeing something to buy and then saying OH NO. NOT THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY. I think it’s fun because I can get it in March. Teehee
In the first 10 minutes of your video I was like OMG I keep buying patterns because yeah I'm gonna stitch that someday 😁 I have tubs full and lots of times I just start looking at them all and it gives me such joy because they are beautiful and I do think of them like books I have tons of them too love to read, and I keep buying floss because you can't have too much😁 I love looking at them too. My friends think I'm crazy getting so excited about an envelope of thread! I have been stitching for about 40 years but lately since watching flosstube I've become more obsessed with all the goodies and it's such a relaxing hobby. I learned something important from one of your flosstube episode some fabric I have such a hard time with I never realized it may be the wrong way! Well low and behold I tried again and that was the problem! Thanks you both are such a pleasure and a wealth of cross stitch information.
Just love seeing you two's big smiles. What a great video and I couldn't agree more that buying what brings you joy is just as important as stitching what makes you happy. And Oh, Brenda! I had to go watch the Antique Needlework gals Haulapalooza video and yes,ma'am had to hit the pause...head over to the Keepsakes site and buy the Bluebirds of Happiness by JBW immediately. And Laura, I love when you talk about all the smart decisions "past Laura' made. Your hauls are wonderful. Thanks again for sharing your time with all of us. Big hugs, Molly D
Hello, you two lovely ladies. This was another fantastic episode. I am so grateful for the shoutout. You picked two fantastic samplers and yes the motif sampler is exactly like that - the original is on the cover. It was so pretty that I never stitched a model for it. Also, I am in the USA, in freezing cold Connecticut, with plans to move south in the next 12 months or so. Retirement is such a joy! Once again thank you so very much 🥰
Thank you Birgit!!!!!! Glad to know where you are and where you will be moving! We love your samplers so much!!!!!!!!! Need to start one very soon...... You have a knack for picking very special samplers to reproduce!
@@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 thank you!! *hugs* I think I'll call myself the "serial Charter" hahahaha - just kidding, but it feels like I have so many WIPs for charting.
You're the best ladies! Stash enhancement is so good for my mental health. Using it to create is a bonus. I am sorry other people don't get it. I need all those colors and textures like a baker needs sugar and flour. Happy Stitching!
Loved watching you both tonight here in Ireland. So much inspiration. I've learnt not to stitch while watching, I get distracted & usually have tears in my eyes at some stage with the laughter. It's inviting trouble to try & count. So my crochet corner to corner blanket is perfect company. I love watching your stash enhancement. It wouldn't be for me but watching your excitement is a great treat. Happy stitching. Best wishes from 🇮🇪
So agree with you both on collecting and stitching! Enjoy the JOY you both bring and have an ever growing wish list of charts in my notebook based on your flosstubes! I am ever so grateful that you share your stash and haul!❤️❤️
Thank you. I too have more stash than the needlework store around the corner, but do not have words to describe the joy that it brings . That includes yarn for my crochet.😄. Again thank you both for the affirmation. Have a great stitch week.
I always enjoy seeing your lovely collection of charts, and how much joy you get from all of the wonderful things you share with us! Brenda the sampler you showed that you have been working on is lovely and I am sure you will have it finished by the next time you film! The smiles on your faces today say it all! I’m happy you mentioned something to stitch on Jody’s red linen. I am looking for ideas on what to stitch on both the red and the green colors! They are stunning linen and I want to do something really special on them.
I love looking at all your beautiful fabrics! Thank you for sharing your enthusiasm and experience with us! Thank you for sending me the direct link for the disco Santa pattern.
So fun to see what goodies you both brought to share today! And Brenda, your work on Florence Mary Dickinson is just gorgeous! Such a lovely stitch. Happy stitching (and collecting) girls :)
Thank you..sweetie girls. Yay!!! I am with you on the stash and collecting… it is my fun, joy and craft. I don’t judge others. I am thrilled for all the designers, stitchers and FlossTubers….You all make my life better…with what you buy, stitch and finish. I always enjoy your videos…we are of the same age…😊
You guys are just the best!!! I get thrilled with seeing what people stitch, their haul, anything stitchy related. I get excited when I see people stitching something new but I get equally excited when someone pulls out a 20-30 year old pattern to stitch. It really is about stitching 'what makes you happy'. It's the love of this hobby that draws us together. Thanks as always and happy stitching!
You gals! I was so happy to see you again; I loved your encouragement of supporting every stitcher & whatever brings them joy! ! No rules & No Judgements!!! We could all live with greater joy if we follow that lead. I loved seeing your WiPs, your haul and your "yet to be stitched stash"....I have a new purchase list and I will never again feel guilty for my stash (a.k.a. Collection)!! Have a great week and see you next time...Stitch on with JOY!
Hi ladies........ touche' for "support your fellow stitchers"......... I love being enabled by you (and now Shellie and Liz), and Carol, and and and LOL. It is great to see your stitched pieces and to get inspiration. And no, I will never stitch all of mine, but I don't care! Keep doing what you're doing and be happy with it!!!
Buying stash makes me happy and looking at said stash over and over makes me happy. I like looking at other peoples stash on flosstube….case in point….I have a copy of The Mary Frances Sewing Book on it’s way, to be delivered on Wednesday; I ordered from Five Times Blessed also. Love your videos. Blessings and take care.
Hi ladies! I sometimes feel overwhelmed by how many patterns I have because I really, really want to stitch them all! On the other hand, I can’t resist buying new patterns that I also really, really want to stitch. I’m a quilter too and I’ve been trying to make quilts primarily out of what I have rather than buy anything new. That’s working for me as far as quilting goes, not so much with cross stitch. Oh well. I hope my granddaughter learns to stitch - she’ll be inheriting a lot of patterns! 😂
I just returned to cross stitch and am so happy to have discovered you two. I too personally LOVE seeing all the stash everyone has. Your joy brings me joy. I am training to be a minimalist yet I can still enjoy hauls and stashes without having to curate them. :)
Those first five minutes are everything and I want to thank you for that. The rest was pretty amazing too! I am all hepped up now and will stitch the day away. (maybe shop a little too) ;)
Your Florence Mary Dickinson is fabulous!, I just started mine on Sunday…my birthday…stitching along with a friend. It’s fun to compare our progress. What a beautiful chart!
I am a long time Quilter with Cross Stitch addiction. Thank you for your words about collections and enjoying them. They make me happy. I love making quilts and stitching too. Not enough time for everything we love. I wish we could sit down for lunch together with lots of giggles. With Love, Patty Swan
You guys bring me so much joy it lifts my heart, just got home from a hectic day working as a volunteer at the local animal rescue centre to find you had posted, settled with a coffee and voila instant mood lift and totally agreed with your sentiments about haul, Do what makes you happy and life is short and grab at any moments that brings happiness, 💕💕💕
I love to create and gathering patterns, fabrics, threads etc. is part of the process of my brain working through what I might do. Each item brings joy and sparks creativity even if it takes me down a different path than I originally thought. I use my stash in new and different ways all the time. Enjoy your stash... noting but positive vibes from me.
Oh Brenda!! I, too, love the vintage books. This Mary Frances one is beautiful !! I checked ThriftBooks and could not find it. Plan B!!! Will keep checking! Love this video. You two kids always make me smile and encouragement to keep on stitching!!!!🥰🥰🥰
Oh mu gosh, thank you so much for your wise words on supporting each other. I've gotten some negative feedback on my doing 60 starts for my 60th birthday this year and I really needed to hear that. You two are so enabling and wonderful ❤️❤️❤️
How wonderful that you are doing 60 starts for your 60th birthday!!! Where do we go to follow along???? I would love to see what you are starting! You know we support you 100%!!!!
@@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 Oh my gosh, you're both so nice!❤️❤️ I do have a flosstube and usually record every other Wednesday evening after work.
Oh my goodness-I completely agree with your take on supporting each other and stashing/collecting and the joy of our wonderful hobby. Thanks for sharing!!
Just wanted to say home much I enjoy your show!!! This is the first episode I've watched after another floss tuber shouted you all out and I absolutely LOVED it! I'm a relatively new stitcher and have never considered a sampler, but your relationship and the enthusiasm you both share is infectious and such a joy to watch. Thank you for being a bright spot in my day!
@@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 I’ve been binge watching your past episodes and am now selecting my first sampler to stitch 😂 There are so many beautiful options!!!
Love seeing both your “stash”! It brings joy to look and plan even though it might not get started or finished. The whole process is enjoyable so just enjoy all of it!
i stitched many items in the 80's and 90's, then raising children and working "got in the way" of my stitching. So, now that my passion for all things "stitchy" has been rekindled, i find that so many things have changed ... linen, floss, etc. I am learning so much from your episodes! Would you ladies please explain the differences in stitching with 100/3s, silks, and the various flosses available? Thank you for inspiring meto stitch, stitch, stitch!
Thank you Beverley!!!! Welcome back to stitching!!!! We will try to remember to talk about flosses soon.....BRENDA TAKE A NOTE ON THIS FOR THE NEXT EPISODE.............
I have loved watching all the floss tube I know every time I’m going to smile and laugh and sometimes cry!! I used to try to keep up with everyone but limited income!! So I buy a few little things and then just enjoy watching all the fun you all have hauling and stitching!! Love you ladies!! 🧵🧵🧵🪡🪡🪡🥰
Terrific video! Love all your charts and your stitching. I get really excited when I find new charts to stitch. It makes me happy to know that I have a selection to choose from. Stitching is my happy place. Thank you both for sharing.
I really enjoy your videos! You guys are always so positive and uplifting! Thank you for making me feel better about my stash and unfinished projects! 😁
Thank you ladies for sharing and especially the part about not being judgmental about others. I think that people everywhere are to judge mental! Let’s be happy and cheer everyone on! Live life with a glass half full
I am definitely with you both. I am definitely not a finisher, but I love the sharing & the getting of all the things!! I feel bad sometimes putting my flosstube out when there’s no finishes but I’m not sure what to share except the haul and what I’m currently stitching and crafting in! Thanks for always making it real!! Hope to get my one year on flosstube video up soon! Definitely a process stitcher!❤️ love you gals!

My brother use to gripe about my Dad’s dog Vet bills. I just told him if he wasn’t paying those bills then don’t talk about it.
Rock ON! Until someone’s name is on MY paycheck, I make the decision how to spend it!!
Thanks so much! I always have a good time with Brenda and Laura♥️♥️

Beautiful stated Debra!!!!!!! I would love to see your collection of antique prints!! Sounds heavenly! Especially the maps!
Thank you❣️

I'm re-watching all the original I Love Lucy episodes and every time Ethel says OH SAY! I think of you two! ❤😂

Chart collectors unite!!!!!!! Thank you Lowana!!
Thank you Sherry!!! Yes, leafing and fondling are two of our favorite hobbies!!!
I consider my charts the same as books in my library. They are my stitching library and some are pieces of art. I enjoy looking at them as much as stitching them. So keep on enabling girls!
That’s what I have always thought ..that it’s art and I’m collecting and enjoying even if I don’t get around to stitching it.💞💞💞
@@denisevoss8901Exactly!! And very happy to support the designers and local needlework ships.
@@maureenroen828 That is another good point Maureen!!!!!! We have to support both of them!
That’s why you’re 2 peas in a pod! Always able to read each other! You both make me say “oh, say!!” I adore you both!
I could not have said it better!
Thank you so so much!!!! You are very kind.
@@mayolson2 Thank you May!
Stitching feeds the soul! So does stashing!
Stitching is like Calgon to me!!! Thread and needles take me away!!'
Yes Desiree!!!!!! Everything you said is correct and we are so happy to hear that your daughter is a stitcher!!!
Thank you Patty! It is wonderful that you have your Mom's needlepoint framed in your bedroom. Keeping it close to your heart. Hugs!
Thank you Brenda and Laura!!
Thank you for watching and commenting!!!!!!! Yes, we are all going to be leaving things to future stitchers! Aren't they lucky!!!
Oh my goodness……..
Once again you two have graced Liz and I with such words of kindness. Thank you deeply from the bottom of my heart❤
And you returned the favor and had me pausing and adding to cart faster than lightening.
Love you both!
Glad we could be of service to you Shellie!!!!!! Hugs!!!!
You ladies are a joy to watch
Get SO excited when your videos are posted, you always make me laugh. My goal this year is to complete as many WIPs as I can and NOT buy too much. I retired last year so my budget is limited and I have plenty of patterns etc. to stitch so we will see how I do! Just sitting and looking through all my patterns makes me happy. Amen to not being judgmental we are all different and are in different stages. Love you both!
Thank you Sandy!!! Yes, looking through charts is almost as fun as stitching and some days that is all we can manage!!!!!
You are so right!
Never a truer word said. There are no pockets in a shroud. Doing something that brings you joy is essential in this mad world.
Thank you so much for your dear comments Tammy!!!!!!!!!!! We understand the exercise vs. stitching issue.....have not conquered that one yet!!!! Hugs!
Thank you!
Thank you Judy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you! Enjoyed as usual! Hope you have a great week
Thank you Elaine!
Thank you Sandy!!!!!!! Agree with everything you said!
Thank you so much for reminding us that each of us has our own right way of collecting and stitching. I have way more items in each category of HOBBY that I enjoy than I will ever finish. I LOVE MY STUFF! I am so happy to watch and realize that I am not alone in what I do. Romonia
Thank you so much Romonia!!!!! We are all in this together!
Thank you Teri! I can't wait to see the finishing work you did for Birgit!!!! Your finishing is so very beautiful!
OMG ... stop video and jump on Etsy to order those pins!
Thanks so much for sharing!
Thank you for watching Heidi!
You said it all so beautifully Marnie!!!!! Thank you so much!!!!
We understand!!!!!! Thank you Lori! So glad you have a sewing room that brings joy!

Glad we can help alleviate some guilt Patricia! That is a great idea that you have about collecting DMC!!!!! I really need to do that too!
Thank you Judy!!!!!! Just enjoy everything!

That is what we think too Joyce. Thank you!!! Hugs back!
Thank you Patty!!!! Build that linen stash!!!
So glad there is a new video...blessings from Belfast 🍀Northern Ireland 💚
Thank you!!!! and we are sending blessings back to you from Illinois!
You two make me smile! Thank you for another wonder flosstube.
Thank you for watching Mary Ellen!
Teehee
Thank goodness you can get something in March Jerana!!!!! Market!!!
Joy joy joy! That’s the fun of cross stitch! Looking through your patterns and adding more to the cart!!! Always a great flosstube ladies!

Thank you so much Lori for your wonderful and very interesting comments! So happy we are all in this together!

We understand you completely Jackie!!!!!
Love your attitude! Kindness to everyone all the time.
Thank you Susan....we try...we sure try!!!!

Thank you ladies for sharing and especially the part about not being judgmental about others. I think that people everywhere are to judge mental! Let’s be happy and cheer everyone on! Live life with a glass half full
Thank you Catherine!!! and we totally agree with you!
