With the amount of proprietary crap that goes on in certain car brands, its not surprising to some people if blinker fluid was a real thing. Even if you know how most cars work, that knowledge doesn't always apply to all cars.
They didn't put a foil seal on it, it came like that from wherever it was bottled. They just took off whatever label was on the unopened bottle and then attached their printed one.
To prevent issues, you should change your blinker fluid on a regular basis, the synthetic brand is good for exactly 200,000 blinks and the conventional is good for 150,000. If you go over by even one blink then you have a high chance of getting a leak so make sure you keep track.

Thanks man , i called a mobile mechanic and quoted me 500-$1000. You saved me money
Him being so specific. A non car person is surely gonna believe this 😂
I’m going to show this to my brother who dose not know anything about cars. And see if he falls for it
I thought it's a new technology.

As a middle aged Persian man that drives a white bmw 330i with a M badge on it i found this video extremely helpful.
Glad the video was helpful!
+ChrisFix surprised you responded to this old post, so quickly..that's insane with his many subs you have.

Please be careful with the blinker fluid because if you get it in your eyes, it will cause uncontrollable blinking lol

Tell us how to replace horn fluid next
Alex68dash lmao
And how to change the the tow ball oil
Lopez Iopez I've recently stumbled upon a new problem. Now I need to know how to replace exhaust fluid
Alex68dash About that exhaust fluid problem, there is something called gasoline XD
Thyden Korlin should that gasoline be replaced every 20 years?
Great how-to, it made changing my blinker fluid very easy and I saved at least 30 dollars!
Now can you do one on how to rotate the air in my tires?
Don't forget to top up the air in your tires every week. A full bucket of compressed air and a sturdy funnel will do the trick.
+Sebastian Watson and another good thing is to check your spark plungers and rotate your pistons through cylinders like take the one in the 1 st cyl and put it in the 3rd
+Sebastian Watson Really? I do 2 buckets of air each week but then again my funnel leaks a little bit of air so it probably makes sense.
+Sebastian Watson my funnel got sucked into the tire when I tried this, now how do I get the funnel out or is it supposed to be in there so I don't have to put in as much air?
+Slim Circuit change summer air to winter air to fall air to spring air etc
You actually got me. I was sitting here like, "How the fuck did I not know about blinker fluid?!" I went to Universal Technical Institute for a few months and didn't notice this shit was a joke. Good one, Chris.... Good one....
I believed it for a moment because i though it may be exclusive for some cars so i checked it online to make sure what it is.
Michael Turner-Smith dank memes wet dreams
With the amount of proprietary crap that goes on in certain car brands, its not surprising to some people if blinker fluid was a real thing. Even if you know how most cars work, that knowledge doesn't always apply to all cars.
Michael Turner-Smith what campus? I just graduated.
GTLA1994 have you got a job yet? i plan to go next year but some people say they dont even get a job
i sent this to my girlfriend, i owe her a new headlight assembly

She used the wrong fluid silly! She has to make sure she got the right one!!
They must have made fun of her at the auto store
Oooooof
I’m really scared right now u have 666 likes on your post😂😂
The level of commitment on display here is staggering. The foil seal on the bottles?
They didn't put a foil seal on it, it came like that from wherever it was bottled. They just took off whatever label was on the unopened bottle and then attached their printed one.
Probably vinegar.
Just changed mine! Thank you so much ChrisFix for helping me save money!
I heard of blinker fluid before I knew it was a joke but when Chris started doing it I actually started believing him until he said April fools lol

Mathew Grinchell it's because of the weather
Mathew Grinchell do they even teach the proper use of turn signals anymore? Seems like people just don't care. 🤗
To prevent issues, you should change your blinker fluid on a regular basis, the synthetic brand is good for exactly 200,000 blinks and the conventional is good for 150,000. If you go over by even one blink then you have a high chance of getting a leak so make sure you keep track.
Also don't forget to change the blinker fluid filter while you're at it. 👍
Thanks dude! I still can't find any blinker fluid at Auto Zone. All the cashiers do is laugh at me :(
