@@TheEpicWinner- Yeah, seriously. Intelligent Systems were told that if Awakening didn't sell 250k units, the series was finished. Luckily, it sold extremely well, being the 2nd best selling game in the franchise, only getting beaten out by Three Houses.
Awakening feels like a weirdly great game for a speedrun even as a tactical RPG. Its menu navigation is the absolute snappiest of any game I've played! This game is very special to me, thanks for the awesome run!
Tingle got done dirty after all those hot level-ups she got early in the game. She carried this entire playthrough, even after giving birth in the middle of it, and after all she did for us, people paid real world dollars to condemn her.
Great to see Awakening again. Still my favorite Fire Emblem game. There was a rumor that Nintendo will bring Fates as a "Deluxe Edition" to Switch, but that never happened. Would not mind that treatment for Awakening to play it again.
I find your lack of vaike disturbing. Also a question for kirby if he's around in the comments: if Fred dies in c17, is it possible to save the run with BK gregor/DK Henry as they'll give the +mov? Or is the time to promote just not worth it at all.
I think chrom dies on turn 2 since enemies move? I forget, but either way the promotion time wouldn't be worth it at all for an actual PB attempt. Alternatively, (assuming chrom doesn't die) if one wanted to be safer, they can speedrun on casual mode and let frederick get defeated - but i didn't want it to hurt my muscle memory for options, since casual mode loses time on defaulting two detrimental option settings.
