  • How to do the Plus Sign on the pole. This static or spin pole trick can be done with or without inverting but is still a challenging pose from either entrance. There is a certain degree of flexibility required for this trick but not as much as some may think. The plus sign arm point of contact has a couple options depending on shape preference and flexibility. So for those of you wondering if this move is attainable due to limited flexibility, give it a try and you might be pleasantly surprised. This one is beautiful on spin or static. A great one to add into your combo or for your next pole photoshoot!
    Try this move out and please tag me in your endeavors with @elizabeth_bfit and #elizabethbfit. If you have any questions about this tutorial please leave your comments below and I would love to answer them. If you have any requests for future tutorials please leave them in the comments below!

    Wow. You are a GOOD teacher. You actually EXPLAIN it rather than just showing it, but you explain it so that the beginner can understand what you're doing there. :) You got a new subscriber today! :D

    Thank you for the clear explanation, it's so helpful! Is there any way to do the plus sign in heels?

    • @Elizabeth_BFit
      @Elizabeth_BFit  Рік тому

      Absolutely! If wearing heals you can either keep the same barefoot placement or go with the ankle on the pole instead for more contact in heels.

    Hi! Is this possible with heels on, or not due to the bottom foot grip?

    • @Elizabeth_BFit
      @Elizabeth_BFit  7 місяців тому

      Absolutely! With heels you can either use the bottom of the heel (not super grippy obviously) or you can adjust to the back of the heel grip instead.

    Hi Elizabeth, do you need to have a flat pancake to be able to do this? I'm quite far away from a flat pancake and I was wondering if I should give it a go.

    • @Elizabeth_BFit
      @Elizabeth_BFit  3 роки тому +2

      Absolutely not! The elbow hold plus sign doesn't require nearly as much flexibility as the armpit version. Do try it! Having less flexibility than a flat pancake actually locks you in to this move even more!.
      Would love to see how it goes! If you have not done so already, I’d love to have you join my EBFit private Facebook group and share your videos there for celebration, feedback and pointers.

    What transitions would you recommend to get out of it? I don't want to "fall" out of the plus sign

    • @Elizabeth_BFit
      @Elizabeth_BFit  4 роки тому

      Easiest transition is toe reverse everything back to your starting position. I would recommend starting with that and then over time as you get more comfortable with the plus sign some of the other exit transitions will feel more comfortable as well.

    Will this work if I have flat feet ? I’m having trouble engaging my legs/feet with moves like this

    • @Elizabeth_BFit
      @Elizabeth_BFit  3 роки тому

      Flat feet shouldn't be an issue with this but it does require some abduction or engagement of the inner thighs. If you have not done so already, I’d love to have you join my EBFit private Facebook group and share your videos there for celebration, feedback and pointers.

    Do you recommend using any type of grip on your foot?

    • @Elizabeth_BFit
      @Elizabeth_BFit  4 роки тому +1

      I personally don't. The foot grip isn't as dependent on grip in this one as it is in a cupid. But use of grip is very much a personal preference.
