    The build of the jacket is wonderful. The colors on that jacket and pants look like something a cat would throw up. Darn good thing they offer it in different colors.

      I’d ride around looking like Liberace if I could. I live for color and pizaz. Bright colors and flashy

    Adam, thank you for this video. So little real-user info on the A3. Poland says hi!

    • @AdamChandler86
      @AdamChandler86  Рік тому

      Agreed and hello my friend from Poland! The last A3 was so limited production and was a worse suit (features) than the cheaper Badlands Pro in only one color (sand-tan) that there just weren't many of them out there so very few reviews. I don't usually review stuff like this but I was hoping someone would watch this and find it helpful. Thanks for the comment!

    I really wanted the GTX gloves to work for me but by the time I got the width to fit my panda paw wide hands, the fingers were a whole digit too long. Sigh.

      Similar situation. I love the long glove in a 2XL but it's tight in most areas, a little loose in others. I ordered an XL this time thinking they had fixed the sizing since my other glove is now 3 years old. Nope, still too tight and short in XL size.

    The Enduro S4 will fit in the pocket on the back of the Baja S4 if folded correctly!

      PRO TIP ! Thanks for the suggestion. I think this will be a default carry method for me to save some space in the luggage…I’ll be running this setup at March Moto Madness on the 701 where space is at a premium.

    Hi, I'm curious about the green material in the crotch, I had 2nd gen badlands pro pants, and that's what ended up failing... The fabric they used there was the wimpiest, softest part of the pants.. Hope they fixed this..

      I hope so as well. I won’t know until I really need it.

    Thanks for the great video ! How’s the fitment ? How tall and how much do you weight? What size did you bought ?

    • @AdamChandler86
      @AdamChandler86  3 місяці тому +1

      Appropriately timed commend. So the XL + 38 pants. The pants were a bit too short since I'm have 33" inseam before boots so I returned them and got the 38 Long pants. I weighted 270, 6'3" with the XL and it was perfect. But in the last 12 months, I've lost 60 pounds so I've since sold these and bought he Large jacket + 34L pants and those are a perfect fit again. Klim publishes a size chart where you can take measurements to find what would fit perfectly - www.klim.com/size-chart

      Congratulations on losing all that weight! I live in Panama City in Central America ! 6’2 220 pounds I’ll check the size chart I have to be very careful with what I get cause we Cabot send it back to the states !😂

      Totally, lot more complicated to return things from outside of USA. Safe travels! I was in El Salvador last week. Really had a great time.

      @@AdamChandler86, that's a pretty nice result! In theory, if you were to lose that weight BUT also wear a full MX armour suit under the Baja s4 jacket (with built in armour removed of course), would you still exchange the XL for a L? Conversely, if you were now to wear a separate armour suit under the jacket, world your L size accommodate it comfortably enough? Thanks!

    Klim has very nice gear, but out of the price range for the "working joe".

    • @AdamChandler86
      @AdamChandler86  Рік тому

      Totally agreed. The price of their gear has outpaced inflation in my opinion. I will say that Klim (Owned by Polaris) builds almost everything in Vietnam so it's all designed in Idaho and then made overseas and shipped here on containers. The price of building these has gone up a lot BUT for a lot of people, this is months of disposable income for a suit. There's really no way to hide it other than say, I get it and I hope this video is helpful to those who want this suit and are wondering if it's worth it. I think it's a very good suit. Worth it? I really can't say but maybe if you crash in it, yes? Thanks for watching, sir.

    You mentioned that you don’t get much ventilation on the GSA. I ride a RT, is the Badlands Pro A3 overkill? Do you think that the vents would work at all on a RT?

    • @AdamChandler86
      @AdamChandler86  Рік тому

      Hi Bernhard, I will admit I've never ridden an RT on the open road but from what I hear, it offers more wind protection than the GSA (maybe someone in the comments can tell me if I'm wrong). This really comes down to A) How much protection you want B) Your Budget C) the kind of riding you do. If you ride in all weathers, hot cold and on-road where you are always moving and want the most protection in the event of a crash, this is the suit for you. The Carlsbad and Kodiak are also great suits with less protection and price point. I wish I could help but I'll add one more thing, Klim's phone line is staffed all day and their sales people are really friendly. Give them a call if you're based in USA and they'll try to help you out.

    What’s the advantage of the Badlands Pro A3 versus the regular badlands Pro?

    • @AdamChandler86
      @AdamChandler86  Рік тому +2

      Hi Markus, you'll have to watch the video. I explain the main differences.

      She has an Artemis suit (last generation) plus some mesh gear but she’s not going to be riding for a while. We’re keeping her bike but just taking a couple of years off.

    Im afraid to buy klim gloves any more after paying for some that fit my hand perfectly i cant get them on or off they are too small around the wrist they are larges and i do not have large hands so i dont know whats up with them just taking them off or putting them on just pisses me off

    • @AdamChandler86
      @AdamChandler86  Рік тому

      The glove sizing is pretty flawed. I have had to size down once and size up more than once. It forces you to order 2 of every glove knowing you’ll return one. Very frustrating.

      I found that with their boots, I thought I was an 11 but that ended up being too tight, so I went with a 12, which almost felt too loose till i put the bigger insoles in, and let the boots break in.. Now they feel good!@@AdamChandler86
