How does this compare to the marrakesh full suit? I ride mostly touring. 13,000~ miles per year. Would you save the money and buy the full marrakesh and deal with being hotter OR would you spend the money for the superfabric and better airflow? How much better airflow? Thanks for these videos. You all are awesome!
In Australia this would be a good tourer suit, things being so hot here but you refer to it as an off-road suit. Me I just want airflow. I do some long trips too, so a good water proofing solution is great. As for warmth, thermals are lighter than quilted liners and work well. Klim sure is expensive but by your admission it is well built and very functional.
Thoughtful concept, but I don't understand how KLIM skipped the zipper in sleeves to get them over the gloves - both Baja/Enduro. With a shorter gloves sure no problem, but if you really want to use the layer concept thoughout the year, the concept fails with longer/warmer gloves.
Klim Badlands pro is now one of the first AAA certified jackets. They claim that it’s the first but I believe Hideout leathers beat them to it with their Hi Pro textiles kit. I’ve never owned Klim products but they do deliver technical riding kit. Still, for the money, I’d want made to measure / bespoke kit. I also agree that rainwear should be on the outside. I live only in hot countries with low, seasonal rainfall so I need venting and would definitely not want a 3-ply laminate for rain proofing. Oxford rainseal is my rainwear of choice.
In Australia here and the Induction is definitely the most air flowing/coolest jacket I've worn into the 30's. I haven't owned the Baja but despite it's pockets and extra weight have heard reports it is actually cooler than the Induction because of it's liner. Don't get me wrong sitting at lights the Induction warms up, any jacket will in that kind of heat but compared to say the AlpineStars SP1 airflow perforated leather summer jacket which I also own, The Induction is like your car air conditioning on high rather than low. The Baja has more pockets, possibly a little more abrasion resistance with the superfabric versus the 840 D cordura and also is more form fitting, easier to move in, and comfortable, not that the Induction is uncomfortable but it is boxier, and the Baja is incredibly comfortable for a motorcycle jacket.. most comfortable I've tried on. I hope to own and try out the Baja soon too! All the best
@Motolegends I too am confused why one would be this over a Marrakesh and vice versa. I have the Marrakesh jacket, and just got back from riding 38deg in the Spanish sun, brilliant. I may be in the market for a trouser to match next season and I’d be confused which one you would buy. Any help gratefully received. Tom
Nebraska is a big corn field 🤣 The "Corn Huskers" is a name of their college sports team. Seriously! Idaho is mountainous with high desert, a very charming place.
i dont mean to be offtopic but does someone know of a way to log back into an instagram account? I somehow forgot my login password. I love any help you can give me
@Maximiliano Kingston I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later with my results.

I am doing the jacket in hood thing for over 45 years already. Makes a great pillow! And it makes the jacket stow away more easily.

If Motolegends carry it, it will be high quality gear! Thank you.

So if i ride road and and want a suit like this would you go for this or another suit? Great video yet again!
!
Is It usable with 35 Celsius degree? Or maybe the Klim induction jacket is cooler and has more airflow than the Baja S4? Thanks

I cross shop summer jackets with these sort of ADV jackets.. seems reasonable to do, no?
Actually there is a textile jacket that is AAA rated. The Kilm Badlands A1 is AAA rated though not comparable to the S4 for heat.
THANK S FOR THIS REVIEW . VERY GOOD INFO 👍👍👍 From Canada
Cheers

Chris- who makes your favorite Caps? Great vids
We used to sell Stetson but have moved to a new brand called Failsworth. They are all on the website. ML

@Maximiliano Kingston It did the trick and I actually got access to my account again. I'm so happy!
Thank you so much you really help me out !
@Hassan Leo No problem =)
Could I wear a Leatt 5.5 GPX neck brace over it?
It's just a standard jacket. It's not designed for a neck brace but we don't really know the ins and outs of neck braces. ML
Klim gear is.. actually handsome now!!
They use to be mostly garrish with obnoxious branding plastered all over.
Idaho: potatoes.
TV = tele.. when did this happen?? 🤣
If you want to see a decent review of these products go to the Chaparral Motors channel.
