Hi Kieren! She's so adorable!
We had a doxie that by 12 years had to start wearing diapers and could not control when he went number 2 enough to go outside.
Diapers may be something to think about to help her adjust without stressing.

I lost my mom in 2019 and it feels like it was 6 months ago. She was my best friend. It does get easier but it never goes away. Thankfully I have Jesus and He is such a comfort to me. I don't know how people go through this without Him, I really don't. I pray that you find His peace and that you can continue progressing on your journey because you seem to feel so much better mentally and I am really proud of you!

you can absolutely put perennial flowers in a raised bed. I live in zone 2, so if I can you certainly can. Look at creeping phlox. They are so pretty and stay small. Also look at stella d'oro daylilies and some sort of daisy.

I loved seeing the dogs outside together. I liked this today even though it was long. You seem to be getting on with the loss of your mom and it's getting easier for you and no days off. That's really good and I hope you don't get the bug!☘
