The hardest thing for me after my mom passed was going to the grocery store. We always went together to buy our groceries. It's been 9 years and Sometimes it's still hard for me. I mostly do Walmart pickup now. Give yourself some grace and some time. It will never go away but it will get a little easier as you navigate what your new normal has become. Hugs!!
My mother died 3 years ago and we always went to the goodwills together. I stopped going for a while and when i do go now I'm always finding things she would have loved.
I have been going to my nephew's ball games,he is eight.Sometimes it is hard to go because my Dad and I always went to all of the kids games together and sence he passed on Christmas Eve of 2022 it just isn't the same.My nephew is so excited when go so I make myself go . Today I heard an older guy cheering and I looked over wanting so bad to see my dad.I really do know how you feel and I am glad you are trying,I think that is what they would want us to do.My prayers are with you.❤🙏

The skirt is a petticoat. Usually used for under square dancing dresses 😊 my grandma had lots of them
We would make lanyards (keychains, etc.) with the plastic string.

She isn't gone forever wait till you get there you can tell her about the yard sale you can tell her now but families are forever you will see her again it is hard being those left behind know that she is not lost from you forever nor has she lost you forever we are families forever and joy will be had when you are reunited I know she is proud of you going to the sale and it is a way of honoring the memory of your fun times but it is not forever I promise you...she would not want you to continue in this hard on you sadness she wants to know you have a smile thinking of the fun you had ...just talk to her when you feel you need a personal hug from her she loved you as much as you love her love is forever you will see her again❤❤
