Wilson Chen You don't completely switch up a NA championship team. Maybe sven was worth switching, but it's fucking idiotic to get rid of the best top and adc your ever gonna get.

1. TSM model is SKT model
Kicking all but mid (what they build around) is a inherent idea when changing
2. The problems with both is league is changing to no mid carry to counter faker and emphasize macro
3. But at the time that was a good idea bucause they were learned meaning everyone at worlds knew what to expect so change had to happen the real problem is knowing the players never lost it the staff did cause the rwal skt combo kouma and faker who does bjerg have.

Seriously though the biggest problem of TSM in my opinion is that after 2016 world fail, Bjergsen and Doublelift started playing way too safe, probably afraid to throw. It works against lower tier teams, but against better teams you have to take risk to win.
The problem that they found was that Mithy was willing to play for different teams and was a huge upgrade to Biofrost. Mithy refused any AD besides for Zven so they had to pull him over. The combined worth of Zven and Mithy theoretically is better than Doublelift and the other best support they could've gotten. Losing Svenskeren at the same time though was probably not the best idea. I do think Doublelift is consistently the best NA player though in region. Also to what Akhnaten said it's not that bad to swap up a championship team especially if it's only an NA champion team with no real international success.
OG Curse fan here. Its so awesome to be a long time fan and finally see this org win a split. I wasnt a huge fan of the previous roster but always had faith in the org. Cant wait to see you guys at Worlds 2018!!

ehh it's debatable but I can definitely say that DL didn't do much in regards to contributing at Worlds. 2016 was the Sven/Bjerg show and 2017 was extremely bad after the first 3 games. MSI wasn't any different with TSM missing groups. I'm glad that DL is doing better on TL but that shouldn't excuse him from how he played at international events with TSM.
Edit: Andrew Ouye corrected me by mentioning that DL was not on TSM's roster at 2017's MSI. I'll keep my comment this same and just add this edit to clarify any confusion.
