optic seems pretty cool, hope they start doing better
Super interesting. I like to compare things, and this is much different from things like TSM's gaming house or Team Liquid's Alienware Training Facility. It's like an office building in a way, but decked out. Seems fun.
Dogebama I agree man, there training center is nice
Actually there have been quite a few facilities set up like this in the past. I wanna say Ekko Fox for sure and some season 5/6 teams. It's a lot cheaper than constructing a new building
I love how teams are so friendly to each other, working together and enjoying what they're doing. I love the game and the opportunities it brings.
Romain is the BEST gm he has a really great understanding of the esports world and knows how to interact with people to make them feel comfortable
dat intro xD
Great video. Optic need to use this video as a corner stone of there marketing. A brand of passion for the game and excitement around growing new players is a good long term plan. Nice content
"Welcome to the new meta" lmao
uol and we as the fans cryed when we lost romain, but were all happy that his new org gives him new challenges and he is enjoying himself. really good video as allways blitz, keep it up!

What soundtrack is that as the background music? I must know!
Great video, great sound ;)
You can take Romain out of Unicorns, but you can't take the Unicorns out of Romain. Gotta love his love and passion.
Honestly i don’t know Optic well, i can’t even name their players since i don’t watch LCS that much. But they are one of those teams that you just wanna cheer on. Ever since their last interview i really liked them ^^
I love the facility! Noice chairs!
Looks awesome! Go Optic
this guy is fucking awesome.
Nice Intro. Lol :D
"Minimum a playoff spot"
didnt know juan mata played LoL
I just wonder what they plan to do after this. I hope they're still studying or plan to do so.
(sorry I'm pragmatic like that)
One thing I think should be mentioned is that people gotta learn to have fun even of they lose. If you can't do that, you aren't happy 50% of the time you're playing the game and who would want that?
amazingkool it's hard :(. I think we should just accept defeat better, because you still have fun trying to win, but when you cant, most people get frustated way toouch. We just need to learn to loose, accept it easily as a fundamental of anything competitive.
Micolash Host Of The Nightmare I grew up wrestling and I was pretty bad at it for a long time, but the sport is meant to be very respectful. You're taught to walk on the mat and shake hands with your opponent and then after the match you shake hands with your opponent and their coach no matter what the result was.
In League I find it very helpful to focus solely on yourself and what you can do better especially after losses (another habit I picked up from wrestling).
I don't like the ranked system because it makes people value winning way too highly due to the punishment for losing. Its a game after all, you should be having fun! If you're trying to climb, you need to improve, and i was taught that you learn a lot more from losing to someone better than you than from stomping someone worse than you, so I think people need to see the value in losing rather than just watching their LP obsessively.
Just dream on
Amazing speech with amazing elevator music
Marksmen does had a monopoly in bot but what other choice they had? Its not like all adcs can go other lanes besides the exceptions
If the game had more attack speed items with AD, the marksmen would be in a much healthier position than they are currently. For example, Stormrazor as first item because it gives AD without being totally useless without critical chance like the new Infinity Edge. They also reduced the base stats of marksmen, which further lowered the value of crit.
In fact, I'd say that a champion such as Tristana which currently is complete garbage according to win rates actually would be better played in a solo lane now. Simply because she's relatively safe and benefits from the levels a lot. In my opinion, one problem is that Stormrazor, while good, actually doesn't give any benefits once you actually get 100% crit chance. Assuming you'd even get to that point these days.
Burst damage is too high, this due to loads of items having passives which grant additional damage in a burst somehow. Marksmen would be a lot healthier, subtle joke unintended but I'll take it, assuming those passives didn't exist. Under the assumption that they weren't depending on them to begin with that is.
There are ways to get adcs back into the game without actually buffing them OR their items, believe it or not. And that would be a much healthier approach, because adcs are oppressive af early game when they have multiplicative scaling as well. Delay rift herald and baron spawn by 3-5 minutes. Make dragon spawns semi-random. For example no infernal drake before 10 minutes, no cloud drake after 20 minutes etc. And make it so that tower taking is something siege teams with ranged adcs can do again without herald or baron.
Adcs are fine, its just that the game got so fast that their strenghts dont come into play anymore
Fasel Fasel the problem is the lack of synergy with the current items marksmen can use effectively, making them borderline useless in the early to mid-game unless they get really fed with the exceptions of a few of them. This due to the game being more focused on burst these days. This leads to shorter games overall, and adcs not being able to take advantage of their pros. Of course, it merely reinforces the whole "protect the adc" thing, but when you have to focus on being defensive to protect someone who deals shit damage, it's better to just abandon the adc and deal tons of damage yourself.
It's a complicated issue, but I think they could easily add 10% crit chance to Infinity Edge without breaking anything at all. I think it's much healthier than the tentative PBE balancing where Stormrazor gives +1% damage per 0.75% crit chance. It basically becomes the new Infinity Edge, while you can still get Infinity Edge to get loads of true damage.

Top 5 midlaner in the world??? BUDDY i think u might have slipped a bit. Faker chovy bdd kt ucal and i dont think power of evil can stand against the korean powerhouse. Dont get me wrong he is top 5 western midlaners but world? I have to correct you there. But then again its ur opinion and im just a fucking silver right?
League is a lot complicated than just atitude. It’s about talent pool, investment and culture. If u are this ignorant that think NA&EU will destroy China and Korea if players have the right mindset. Wonder why optic gaming sucks? Here is the reason. You don’t talk big if u are giant. You only talk big when u are nothing.
