Kara when you had your hip replaced I ended up getting my hip replaced about 21 days after you I been following your recovery and feel the same things you went through and going through mine had a few more main issues and your lucky your hip replacement went on the better side of things. I ended up with a DVT in my leg (blood clot) then the blood clot went to both of my lungs. Spent 9 days in ICU for my issues. I would love to chat more one on one with you if you like to discuss things more. I am also an expat living in the Philippine's for the last 12 years. I had my surgery in Bangkok at Bumgrad Hospital. You are a very inspirational spirit and keep moving forward. Love your channel Chuck. thanks in advance.

That’s a brilliant idea, about finding a condo with beach view for your mother. A change of scenery will be great for her. I’m similar age.I love the sea views from my condo, also cooler breeze and no insects in higher level…not dark inside, like where she lives.. Be aware… Jomtien beach is very very busy on weekends..

Awesome I took care of my mother for a lot of years just like you do I did the same thing my mother laughed at me one day when I picked her up from her house and she says you’re like my private chauffeur so you did a great job taking care of your mother. You’re a good son. OK you’re a great husband. You’re an awesome person. lots of condos that have shuttle vans, on a schedule. Lumpini Park and Lumpini Place, etc. i am at park. drop her off at phra ram 9 metro. she has the metro and two malls to wander. van is 20 baht each way

Sorry Chuck. Just wanted to let you know because you keep commenting about it. I have been subscribed to your channel for a very long time. I've never had to resubscribe. You are the only person who continually mentions this out of all the channels I am subscribed to. Like I said I have been following you for a very long time. Never had an issue. Don't know why you are seeing that you are losing subscribers mate.
Who wants to be perfect all the time, my brain is wired poorly and every job I do has to be perfect which you would think is good. Actually it's crippling and there are lots of things I want to do that I don't even attempt because I know I won't do them perfectly. Perfect is good but there are lots of times where good enough is all you need.
I totally agree with you stay in the right lane at do at least the speed limit. The left side is dangerous with the 3 different speeds Thailand has for Vehicles plus the road conditions are bad on the left side. I always pull over most times for faster moving vehicles but here you basically have to drive like a thai does and forget what you were taught back home.
What is it about Koh Chang you like so much? Me and the wife went there and found ourselves very isolated with not a lot to do. Feel we have missed something? Seems like your Mom is gonna be just fine with you to keep an eye on her. Thanks guys.

She speaks quietly and it's hard to hear about her holiday in Udon Thani. Otherwise I have nothing else to say, other than Cheers for another Chuck adventure.
Your mum would of been better off buying joes 4mill villa at rocky point, next to the ocean, peace x quiet, etc. Only my observations ,, up to you.....
too big for her well also spending on property 4 million wear and tears repairs yearly winter storms caring for & maintenance of proprietary as owners she dont need this headache 😮 think she need a car to get out of Joe's property many more negative thinking. now a nice condo next to shopping 🛍 areas and the sea 🌊 fresh salt air daily breezes look mate 😂I can here a book how much a condo with a tiki bar or juice bar 🍹 with tropical fruits 😀 and watching 👀 good people 😀 is much more for the living we humans need a little noise and peaceful nights 🌙 like I said I can go on but I must drink some seltzer if you don't mind of some essentia filtered reverse osmosis 💧 water 💧 about half a gallon a day for my brain health 😀 chow amigo till later. 😀

That is a lovely property but a little isolated, you would need to drive.
Unless you have children to leave property to in Thailand, you will be better off as a Renter friend
He sold that a while back.
She's not Thai so I don't think she could own it
