I think the freeside rumors that were cut were going to be based on a Karma type that you have or the outcome of cut quests that were based on the supernatural or moral side that didn't make it in
The rot face thing gave me a good standard for charisma or speech. If a character the player built a relationship with turns on them, that’s when a 100 speech or charisma 10 check can make them friendly. It would be a really tempting way to get people to have max charisma build.
Free side is always one of the first places I end up modding to make it better and dense. I wish there was a diverse clothing mod for the squatters there like you see on the cover of All Roads.

I remember going up there and thinking it would be a good sniper's nest or lookout area to monitor traffic in and out of The Silver Rush or the side gate into the area. I also thought it would make a good free house with a few very minor changes.
Idk about anyone else, but hearing them talk about how they put lots of thought into things like; where the farms are, where water is stored, how does that water get there, how do small groups in this town interact with each other, and go on to say that while it's a small detail it's important for world-building. I love that, contrasted to the "write a story and the player will rip it up and make paper planes out of it so let's just not write anything properly" it truly is no wonder Fallout NV is such a loved game.

7:56 I'm pretty sure on my first playthrough of new vegas, I went through the the east gate and saw the three bodyguards there, (probably a glitch) by I was confused when on my second time around they where gone. Still, the consept was super interesting to me.
I remember seeing the bodyguards too!
Yeah. They're cut on everything but Xbox oddly.
The control crystal would have been good to eventually expand on the wasteland’s wacky beliefs.
I think the freeside rumors that were cut were going to be based on a Karma type that you have or the outcome of cut quests that were based on the supernatural or moral side that didn't make it in
Time for a remake
Thanks for all of the great work on all of this, have you considered doing cut content for the rest of the fallout series?
After this series is complete, definitely! 🖤
@@TriangleCity fo4 had so much cool cut content
Favorite part of freeside is the time I had a save in there and couldn’t load it
The rot face thing gave me a good standard for charisma or speech.
11:24 is the best line ever!
A real shame with rotface. Even with just hearing the dialogue I would've grown to like 'em.
Sad that they got cut :(
31:00 You can get into that space with a little jumping, at least with the PS3 version.
It would be interesting to see a remaster or upgrade of the game for next gen consoles with some or all of the unfinished or cut content restored. I guarantee they'd make a fortune selling it to all of us again
This episode was really impressive. Very informative, and a great length!
Thanks for all your work.
We all know that PS3 is the “console memory issue”
Hahaha facts good ol ps3 😂😂😂picked up a jailbroken ps3 awhile back with fnv ultimate edition or whatnot, and it ran like junk hahaha glad I have a pc
Yup 😂
@@shanesmokes6447 I never had a 360 or PS3 but I played New Vegas on my Xbox One and learning about all the cut content got me pissed at the consoles at the time only to learn that it was mainly the PS3 with the worse memory limitations
Never forget Skyrim at release on PS3. Didn’t even work.
@@hamstersplural4334 that was because of the PS3 cell processor which Sony was very proud of until theydecided to get rid of it and make the pS4 similar to a PC.
I wanted to take a quick peek at some quality cut content before bed, but I see now that this behemoth is going to require my full attention, can't wait!
"Good, bad, you're the guy with the weapons" is that an army of darkness reference? lol
FNV deserves a proper remake from the ground up, with all the cut content they didn't have time to finish
Aw Rotface’s self confidence 😌 He loves himself and that’s what matters.
i just found you a few days ago and hey, i love your content! it provides in-depth explanation of the cut content in quite a calming yet entertaining way
Should keep me busy before Cyberpunk 2077!
Same
I’ve had more game crashes with Cyberpunk in two days than I’ve had an entire decade with Fallout New Vegas.
@@jdgustofwinddance.7748 Lol I was talking about the video.
Comments that aged poorly.

You're doing great work, man!
You look like Arcade Ganon
Its makes sense how if you join the king's the 2 NPCs wont pick pocket you
(30:47) You can go up there though, you have to enter the adjacent building to the right and go up the stairs and turn left to go up a small rubble ramp.
Just found your channel today but so far love everything. But now you have me curious about the cut content from FO3 🧐
LOL the FTL music in the background was messing with me for a bit. Love these vids, thanks for doing such a comprehensive job looking at the best game of all time.
This is heartbreaking to watch, I wish I didn't know about cut content
Pickpocketer: *pickpockets*
Courier: *pulls out antimatirial rifle*
Imagine an alternate universe where Bethesda’s engine didn’t suck and obsidian had all the time they wanted to complete the game. Geee wiz
8:20 for some Godforasken reason, the music here sounded like the old default Samsung alarm, and I almost had a damn flashback from high-school lmao
Triangle City hey yo please keep up the good work and I'll be waiting until you get to 1 mill subscribers
I arrived to freeside in my current play through today, and this video pops up. Your videos are awesome 👌
The Rotface Quest sounds eerily similar to Gaenor from Morrowind but minus coming back with some of the best gear in the game and max stats to murder you for being nice.
Holy shit, after my last playthrough I thought Freeside looked different from how I remembered. Little did I know, there were changes made to the location across patches. Who knows what else I remember from the OG release vs the final patch.
Also, wow, I didn't realize some of this was actually cut content because of those mods that add it back in. I always hated how long that Van Graff scene was and now I learn it was supposed to be shorter!?
Holy duck man this is an even better drop then Mario Judah and willburgur
The fact that this video about one single location that has its removed content brought back is 1-hour long pretty much adds the justification of why this game should be remastered.
“If it weren’t for consoles” I FEEL ATTACKED
I play it on the 360 lol, I’m part of the problem too, don’t be lonely
@@isaacsrandomvideos667 I played it on ps3 before PC.
I mean, when I got Fallout on Xbox360, it was more powerfull than my PC 😂
That shot of a densely populated freeside would of been just the bees fucking knees in game
Obsidian’s post-launch patches are gaslighting me. 💀 I remember there being two kids chasing the rat.
I think someone mentioned that xbox never recieved some of those patches.
