They make burgers like that in mexico. Im from Coahuila. Back in 2000 this guy had a stand where he made charbroiled burgers with the ham n bacon alvacado combo. Not sure about the ribeye but the toppings are identical. He did have a homemade sauce too and I think he even had a burger that had beans in it. Good stuff. Like a torta/burger
I would try the ribeye burger by itself on a bun, no cheese or anything, before drowning it in toppings. What's the point of the expensive meat if you're gonna hide it?
Maybe because we are a country of immigrants that we enjoy so many types of world cuisines. I'm not aware of any other other country where home cooks make such a wide diversity of food. I have yet to run into someone from another country, let's say Mexico for example, that makes Greek or Chinese food at home.

the sharp bite of jalapeño pepper (and all the other crap) may not allow you to appreciate just how special ground Ribeye tastes....still epic creation. nice burger bucket list!

I mean I love a good ribeye, but I think some of these burger joints overdo with all the extra stuff that goes on it. To each their own I guess, but it's a pass for me
Jonathan Pifer because beef is beef. Just because a steak is more tender than say a Chuck or round doesn't mean that it will make a better burger. The reason why is that it's ground beef. It may actually have less flavor because tougher cuts of beef are usually more flavorful.

Its actually very hard to get a genuine opinion on burgers because different techniques or variations become 'fads' and the actual taste or quality of the meat is often thrown out the window. Also not a fan of his flagship ribeye burger being loaded up with all that jazz..not sure you would even taste the meat after all of those toppings.

Well I'm nowhere near Texas so I'll have to cook one for myself here in Florida. Just would not all the crap on it give me some garlic bread and a piece of meat with some cheese and we're good.
I think it is a travesty to top such a lovely hamburger with nasty mayonnaise. He should up grade the quality of his ham. What he is using looks like cheap Mexican lunch meat.
