Mine still has some left when the rev limiter kicks in at 10k, I called him up to see if he could set that about 500 rpm higher and he then explained that they tend to have valvetrain problems beyond that. Bummer because its still pullin hard when that limiter kicks in. Makes it a much more useable bike, holds speed easier up hills, 5th gear is a pullin gear with my 240 lb butt on it, as long as I'm on the flats. I think start to finish it took me about 30 minutes to swap the cam. on the fence with the big bore kit, added expense of the oil cooler, temp gauge, required bits and pieces. I think i'll just keep to my diet and drop another 40 lbs lol
The BBK is well worth it!
Increase the valve spring pressure and it will rpm...
@@masterspin7796 yes thats obvious, but it was other problems, roller guide failure I think was one of the problems. Sounded like it would require a total valvetrain beef up and for another 200-500 rpms? nah, i'm good leavin a little power on the table lol
@@billwilliamson9842 where does it end?...titianinum valves.keepers//and retainers..ceramic coat the exhaust ports..eventually it turns into a money pit with little to no return..
@@masterspin7796 well all depends what you are into but I agree for what I want the bike for, I am more then happy with its performance now. I keep it on my bus and when I camp, i can unload it and explore roads or trails. Like I said, best thing a bigger person can do performance wise one these smaller bikes is to lose weight lol

Where is the ecu located on the 2022? I have to send mine off but can’t find anything on the location. Just trying to find out so I don’t have to pull everything out from under the seat. Thanks!

On your Navi. did you change the tires or do you still have the stock tires on it still?
Stock front rear tire is a 90-10-90
Sprockets? Takegama speedometer?thats my next on list...i have a 2021 red monkey with termignoni exhaust ecu black shocks... 2022 monkey rims...and a few others features...amazing bike...i like the yoshi sound but they are getting so expensive😪
Sprockets will be soon and definitely a different speedometer
