I would encourage donating all the tools and items you can’t sell to a local high school or trade school. They would be so grateful.
That'd be great
And a write-off too
That’s a good call
He has a business not a charity.
That’s such a great idea!
I know a dude who used to buy these pallets and then just returned all to different stores and just sold the working ones he got from it. I think he's in prison for tax evasion so great guy all and all.
Yo this made me laugh so hard thank you for sharing
Where do you get these pallets from?
@@stxburrito9495 usually you can find them online auction websites or check out your local hardware stores like Home Depot or Lowe’s and ask if they have returns on a pallet
O
Problem is there's so many scammers. its like 20 scammers for every 1 seller 😂
Can't lie. It took me way too long to realize I was watching the same videos I had already watched... and still enjoyed the experience all the way through.
Painful to watch. Clickbait?
My excuse is I'm extremely stoned.. took me a while too
Man I’m sitting here like when did Jordan come back
Same. It wasn't until I saw Jordan and he didn't mention he was back visiting or something.
I came to the comments on the second unboxing when he found the bug I said I’ve seen this 🙃🙃
Saw Jordan, and immediately scrolled down to check the posting date!
Same!
yup!
A lot of the times when a battery won't take the charge and says error, it's because it was over drained or set for a while dead. If you take a good battery and hook a jumper wire ground to ground, then take a second jumper and hook to good batteries positive then tap the bad batteries positive a few times it'll jump the power up enough to let it charge. It's worth a try. Even if half of them come back you're winning
Can confirm this works.
This is some what true. Yet many times it is the BMS that fails. I have had a number of batteries that have done that. After pulling the battery apart to confirm that the cells are indeed good and the bms is bad. The only problem is you can not find replacement bms for those batteries. Well I have never found them. They are also take skill to pull them apart with out damage. I have one that has a LSA for Ridgid that I am going to get replaced come Monday.
@@kameljoe21How does the fact that you brought up a _completely separate issue_ which could cause a battery to fail/not charge, suddenly invalidate the original comment (which is *100% true* as _sometimes_ being the cause for batteries not charging) demoting it to the status of "somewhat true" in your mind? 🤔
Just because a failed bms can *also* potentially cause a battery to not charge, that doesn't make the original comment about batteries being over-drained/stored dead _any less true..._ Actually as far as practical purposes, their comment is the more valuable one since they also provided a *solution* to recover batteries with that issue. Whereas all you did was point out a 2nd potential issue that "requires skill to dismantle battery without damage" in order to even diagnose it followed by a statement that once the bms is confirmed to be the issue "a replacement can't even be bought."
Sidenote: The core function of all bms is to monitor that all cells maintain the same voltage and to regulate the current when cells are being charged. If you understand the specs/requirements of the battery in question then you don't need the _exact same_ bms that was originally in the battery, only one that is equivalent to it...
So not being able to buy an oem bms is a non-factor as far as being able to fix the battery yourself if you have sufficient knowledge in electrical engineering 💯
Yea, I’ve done this a few times in the past on some old 20v DeWalt batteries, 👌 it does indeed work.
Tip: when you store batteries (don’t use them for months at a time) keep them at about 80% full charge.
Can't believe i first watched these separately and now watching this mammoth of a video.. i'm not addicted to these, you are.😅
I only just realised I watched a 3 hour + video of palette unboxing stuff. I'm not even mad. Do need an aspirin now though...
My Makita drill broke like that impact driver back in 1994. I took it apart and CA glued the broken parts together and still use it today.
This is exactly what i have wanted. No dicking about trying to watching 3 years worth of videos in que. Just 3 years worth of content in one video. Hell yeah.
exactly my thoughts
you clearly work for the show......no one wants to watch 3 hours of this garbage
@@bteach54 then why are you here?💀😂
I
@@Angel-mi6qs I just noticed it's 3 hours.. of reruns.
I'm a mechanic and I LOVE ur channel. So ur not wasting my time!!!
Gotta love a box of Dollar General hand tools. Stuff that makes Pittsburgh tools look like professional grade
Pittsburgh, when you KNOW that shit is getting broken. I worked there and I still can't believe they offer lifetime warranties
@@PandorasFolly yea that warranty makes it worthwhile for noobs/hobbyists like me and side hustle work. My lifestyle doesnt depend on my tools, its just for fun. No point buying snapon when im only gonna use it 3 times a year lol
I was like,”Jordan’s back!!!” Then got sad that they were just old videos lol 😅
Ok…
Doing my chores, cleaning up, and preparing for work.
Or watch 3+ hours of opening pallets… sure, I’ll watch.
Yep, this will delay my yard work nicely
My dogs are glad I'm watching cause it is bath day for them and they hate bathday😂
No other channel has me watching 3+ hours long videos without fast forwarding, says a lot about your content John!
i watched it in 10 minutes, ur amaizin :) i couldnt.. ust couldnt
zoomers with their low attention span
@@MuharRajiv911some people just don’t want to watch a 3 HOUR video. I don’t think that has anything to do with attention span.
Bro read my mind like how
@@MuharRajiv911weird how people all live exactly the same based on the generation they grew up in. Thanks for your input 9/11.
I recommend you wear your prescription Shop Shades before ordering your next pallet or truck load of returned tools.
Love the Harbor Fright stuff !!! I like it because even with the most basic of maintenance they can last a while and if you're one of the little guys like me the price point works. And yes, if you notice a lot of their stores got remodels and the rearranged everything including the pricing, lot of things went way up and almost doubled in price like their nitrile gloves.
3 hours plus of maleki let's f**ing go 🎉🎉🏴👍
Not gonna lie. I would absolutely love to get one of those hart kits for my house rebuild. Trying to get half way decent tools one by one. Like right now top of my list is a good router table and table saw. But Trying to get something decent when your on a extreme budget and would rather buy something cool for your kids makes it rough. It's certainly nice and fun watching these videos guys. Your channel keeps me inspired to do my projects even when my health is against me.
how much raw footage was there for this? RIP to your editor
waste of our time.. ffs
@@Nomolyx1where’d jordan go?
@@Nomolyx1 is it old footage? awesome, ty for the heads up-ill skip it
@@nate.hanlonhe doesn’t do UA-cam anymore and does software as a service whatever that means.
@@SpeedsterVlogNope. I'm new to the channel, so, 3+ hrs of entertainment for me, and I'm sure quite a few others.
subscribed, cant stop watching y'alls video. Editing is PERFECT . Main character is on point , and so are the extras. chemistry is awesome ! some banter here and there to make it funny, nothing really personal! Makes a great watch !
I couldnt stop watching this 3hr vid haha !!
As a former HD worker, MANY people came in to buy a jobs worth of tools and equipment & came back after the job to return everything. It happened ALOT.
As a current HD worker, we had a customer that would buy the Milwaukee bundles, keep the free item, and return the base bundle items
@@dominicsondgeroth9221 I feel like HD would *definitely* have a clause in their policies somewhere to prevent exactly that... 🤔
@@dominicsondgeroth9221 how does one go about buying the return pallets?
I have the little mcgraw compressor. Bought it knowing it was not much of one, but works good for blowing stuff off my motorcycle, and a quick tire inflation. Good for about 10 seconds of blowing before it starts up, very loudly. I only paid like $50 for it, but works for me.
Also bought one of those heat guns like 8 years ago and it's still going strong!
Give Sam one of those T55s, that’s what he’ll need if he ever needs to pull his ranger’s bed to replace the fuel pump.
Good for Volkswagen, BMW, Mini, and Mercedes too
97-06 jeep wranglers too
Done it myself on my '02 Ranger and I had the same thought during the video.
Some seatbelts are bolted in with t55 as well.
those bed bolts dont hold up too well lol. had like 3 of them snap off when i had to do some fuel line work on my ranger :(
Love the content, especially the video memes in between. Keep the videos coming, huge fan from Elmira, NY.
What a way to spend a day!!! Thanks for the videos John!
get a life!!!!!
I got that Craftsman 6/7 tool combo pack last year for $297 (i did amazons monthly though), its now priced at $425. The tools are actually quite good for the majority of tasks.
If you aren't aware, the broken drill bits can be used by people who work a forge to make great knives, tools, and more.
I think this is the first time in my life, that I sat through over 3 and a half hours of 1 video about pallet reviews in one day. And I was genuinely sad it was done. Thank you guys. ❤
NEVER stop using the "you sure about that?" lol
Wow! In the previous video of Tool Return Purchases, I dared you to do a pallet of Craftsman returns.... and you did it! Color me red, and impressed! Nice one, John! You earned my thumbs-up. I love you. Not in a weird way.
I love him in a weird way…
@@vincentlacaca
Well then, go comfort him.
That was not acting. He was legit horribly upset when that "pallet" was wheeled in.
Except who in their right mind would consider a pallet with like 10% craftsman tools in it to be a "craftsman return" 🤔
As a Pittsburgher/ pennsylavian myself just wanted to say love the content and everything man.. the unboxing and pallet videos are funny but the craftsmanship with the acrylic tables and others. 😘👌🏻 me and some my friends and coworkers love the page man keep it up buddy.!!!
Also if you guys wanna throw some tools this way would greatly appreciate anything haha so would my boss sure he’s tired of me always borrowing impacts, drills, list goes on 😂😂😂
You should just start leaving those tape measures from the first pallet in your buddy's bathrooms when you visit them 😂
I used to work at Hasrbor Freight. The things that get returned that still 'work' usually get sold as open box. Stuff that has been used or does not work, actually get sent back in the exact box they sent it to you in. They literally took it in, listed it, sold it, and shipped it out without ever taking anything out.
Video idea: buy two pallets and have the boys try to repair and flip the items to see who can make the most profit. Take the value of the items and subtract them from the sell
Early 2000s chevy truck needs a t55 to change brake pads. You use it once and change them out for a standard bolt.
Pallet unboxing compilation? Nice
I remember one time before you bought a pallet that was full of hole saws. lol 😂
Faulty merchandise slips are attached to returns when they item is faulty (ie. Doesn't work as intended, or is damaged from the manufacturer) homedepot uses a RTV (return to vendor) slip for those. All those items with those slips sould have been returned to the vendor. Thats how they get there money back on those things. I used to work at homedepot. They are supposed to check all returns to make sure all parts are returned in the products.
Needed something to watch and this just popped up! Perfect timing ❤
I have no idea how the UA-cam algorythm brought me here from where I was, or even the normal content I consume, but I sat through the entire video, and LOVED every last ounce of of it.! Subscription earned. Well done.
Soon as I saw there was a new video I’m like 🥰😍🥰😍🥰 then I saw it was over 3 hours I fell in love I have no life 😂😂🤣
T55 bits are automotive. There are several that size on my Sprinter. That would have been a nice find for me!
Hey Jordan it's back...🤙🏼
He's not back. These are all the pallets from the last 2 years compiled together
I would love that
fortress 32:32
Sledge/rake 45:31
Bradnailer 54:00
Sander/battery 1:00:41
My boss always wondered why we kept a 5/32 deep well socket in the tool box to work on John Deere tractors and Donkey forklifts. It was just an stealthy one hitter 😂
That is such a cool idea! Home Depot would be the best idea for a truckload !! God bless you and your family !!!
I'd be suing Pallet World, although you weren't allowed to look, that isn't what was advertised, which was Craftsmen Tools.
yeah lol he was 100% scammed
3:21 can’t sue cause it says “mix tools” in the title of the item. It says “Craftsman, Combo Drills, Drills Power & Mix Tools”. They knew what they were doing when they posted that pallet. They drew you in with the Craftsman name then threw junk in with a couple Craftsman items.
You can 3d print battery adapters that will allow Dewalt and other battery's to plug in
As a wooden sawhorse fan too, I will tell you that those Stanley or craftsman metal fold away ones are absolutely a game changer if you bolt down a 2x4 on top of the metal frame. Trust me I used the same wooden sawhorses for 15yr and just adding the 2x4 to the metal ones is a game changer
I love it that you put it all together to show everyone what goes into buying this stuff. I gotta say tho that first one was funny as hell especially when you thought you broke even then the rug got yanked out from under you.
I would love the welders. Air compressors always come in handy too and can never have enough.
I work for Walmart and deal with returns. We have to test everything brought back and if it works we sell it at a discount in the store and only really send items to the return center when they are broken.
t-55 is used for undoing the bumper bolts on Jeep YJ and TJ's.
Remember to keep comments respectful..... that is tough to do.......
I applaud your honesty, there are a lot of pallet videos out there that make it seem like it's such a great deal.
I won't say I've never been gullible enough to buy something like that, I'll just say I've been too cheap to try it.
Thanks for the video .
I Love John Malecki Unscrewed Videos
That harbor freight car compressor works pretty well. It will melt the bag unless you want to wait for an hour after you fill your tires, but it does work well for what it is
As someone who works at Harbor Freight usually those pallets are filled with almost entirely broken stuff and anytime you see those three zeros that’s something that was sold as an open box
The guy who edits these videos is awesome. And the rest of you are also awesome. New subscriber!
Also, those craftsmen ratchets can be fixed and should work for another hundred years.
3:14:33 the cool thing about the Ryobi sander is you can hook the hose from the Ryobi 5gallon bucket top wet dry vac to the sander to collect all the sawdust.
The dynamic between the three of you guys is great (new Sam and Chris)! I feel like you could make movies about anything and it would be interesting. And Sam is probably my favorite. A man of few words, but fun and interesting in his own way 😄 Keep up the good work guys!
It would be the funniest thing ever if Donnie Platt was a viewer of the show.
But, John count everything in the crate but give the total difference and the value in just tools
Hey John when it comes to the air tools like impact tools the 1 inch impact driver is what you would use on buses and semi trucks. The one with the broken clip on the front just means it wont hold the socket on. The thing you called a saw is a cut off tool has a wheel that can cut thru steel and aluminium
Side note John the gloves that came with the cotton inserts are meant for use in cooking the cotton will insulate your hand while holding hot meat such as a brisket while you cut it.
Great video recap. It's taken me 3 days to watch it all.
The king👑 of youtube is back and made another good video
buy a rec teq pellet smoker its traegers competitor and I've had 2 of them for 6 years never have had a single issue with them and I keep them outside year round up here in northeastern Minnesota with temps ranging from -45 degrees Fahrenheit to 95 degrees Fahrenheit and we get a ton of snow every winter I love mine and never plan to switch over to Traeger
I've got the Avanti airless sprayer... And it works fantastic. Painted multiple houses with it. But you HAVE to store it correctly or the pump will lock up.
So love these videos especially the long form. My only critique is that Milwaukee box with all accessories especially the hole saws have value. You called it a $0 bust not based on its resale value or just value in general but the fact that it would be difficult to resell (which you say you have no intention to do). That pallet easily had a value of $3000-$5000 dollars which would have been a huge boost to your total value number.
Kudos to you gentlemen for actually keeping my attention for over three hours when normally I don't have enough patience to watch an entire tiktok without skipping mid-video.
Grave Digger!!!! Instantly a winner. Love this kind of content John.
I need tools so bad lol I’m an aspiring mechanic and some what new home owner (2021) I keep buying off of FB market place and after my last encounter I never wanna go back on there. Nice to know I can try my luck at getting some returns thanks for the video I enjoyed it a lot. I do have a question though. Is ryobi truly any good? Seems like they are.
My son has a lot of heart tools and loves them and swears by them for the price. I myself, is Dewalt. I do have two Milwaukee nail guns though.
It would be awesome to see you send off a pallet of some of the useful tools to a channel like Cold War Mercantile. The guy bought an old Brown Shoe Factory building in Illinois and is trying to keep the building alive, all on a shoestring budget and with no experience to speak of. Super cool, raw and real. Watch his latest episode and see how excited he is to have a tool room.
When I had a 2004 Jaguar x type I was replacing the CV axle on this past summer, I actually needed to go buy a whole kit to get a t55 socket in order to remove a bolt with that head in an awful location. Couldn't find a single t55 socket by itself, (mind you, it was a Sunday, mid afternoon with my customer expecting his car by the end of the day). So I spent like 35$ on the cheapest kit I could find between HD, LOWE'S, HF, AZ, and AA.
And I wonder how much it would be if you add the amount you made with the original videos plus the amount this video will make. Welp, can’t wait to see the full truck!
I love these videos. Thanks John
I was really hoping you guys would be making this video! Been waiting since I saw the other video hit 1 MIL
That big monster impact is for semis for taking tires off.
I charge $75/hour. $425/recap tire. I work fast on tires. Im trying to steal loves/speedco southern tiremart TAs business on service calls for tires.
Don't knock that Fortress compressor. I've got that exact model and it has sided soooo many buildings in just about every weather condition you can think of. Things a champ, especially for the price
A T55 Torx, for older Chevrolet Silverado front brake caliper slide bolts. I have a nice short profile one from Mac Tools in order to take them out with, so it doesn't torque to the side because you have to put so much power to get those rusty things out! 😅👍
I love Milwaukee tools... im a plumber and it's all I buy.... I don't mind taking any of those off your hands... I use all that stuff every day. I'm just a working Joe and would love it. And dang... I just watched over 5 hours of this guy...
I feel like the Milwaukee had decent value, def mor than 0$. The hole saw alone probably 2-3k. The 6" hole saws are like 50 bucks.I just bought a couple they're spendy. Love the content!
I know everyone has something they want you to donate to ,just another one of those guys, but how about to the people in northern Carolina and Tennessee areas who just lost everything and are rebuilding something as small as a screw driver could mean everything, i wasn't effected I'm on west coast. Anyone way it goes your channel is awesome and whatever you do will be awesome because no matter what we know it's going to a good cause, so much respect .
Did you know those farm guys you keep showing clips of live in my small town in Ontario Canada. I went to school with them and my mom cleaned their house. When I was younger. Small world glade to see you using Canadian clips from them or your video team.
I loaned out and never got my reciprocating saw back, and can’t bring myself to buy another, I would love one of those reciprocating saws, I’ll love y’all forever!!
Oh… and a pole saw… definitely need one because I left mine at somebody house…
WOW you got your 1 million views on this video in 4 weeks or less. Nice job! I wish I had extra money to buy a pallet of returned power tools or even hand tools, maybe one day.
Fun video the fortress compressor hearing it run made me want one keep up the great work
Torx is my favorite head pattern, T55 is the most common size. Actually a decent tool
I use t55 for 18 wheelers.
Lucky for you the Defaulty's and the crappin better are all owned by Stanley tools. They damn near own the entire tool market.
Congratulations!
I got lucky and got that Craftsman combo set brand new from a pawn shop for $160. Definitely worth the $300. Solid set.
I encourage taping the drills together and turning them on and seeing which one wins. Match to the death.
If you have the money to spend, I would love to see a fully kitted out ICON tool box vs the Epic SNAP-ON and I would love to know what you think of each. You know one is about $4000 with all the attachments and the other could be upwards of $20K. Is it worth it?? I for sure do not even have ICON tool box money let alone Snap-On
Fun part about that T55 is probably why I got recommended this video as I need one to replace the rear bearings on my car lol
Absolutely legendary episode guys!! 🏆. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 Watched every second with the NFL games. Muted the other 2 big screens. 😂
I love it when you do these! It shows me what not to buy LOL If you want to lighten your load of HOLE SAWS I'd be willing to accept a few... honestly I don't have any.
Thirteen minutes in I realized that this is almost three and a half hours long :D Guess I got my evening sorted out.
Can you please show us how and where you purchased these pallets, I have try in the past ordered a pallet and only received two tools that were dollar tree quality
Some great stuff there for beginners. I'm just starting out and my wallet has never cried so much. My tiny workshop just has foil insulation at the moment, so it looks like a Mary jane "grow house" 😂
I'll gladly take some tools! 🙏😁
I worked for Walmart, that pallet is on par for how the trucks come loaded! Chit shoved everywhere, break pack boxes with the structural integrity of a wet noodle. Loaded with the most random stuff.
I love Sam. Sam and John you guys have great chemistry. You guys are hilarious. Never leave, Sam!
Timberland Pro actually makes very good socks . For folks who wear boots . The best socks I've ever bought, not even diabetic socks can come close . They fit right stay snug and never fall down the leg and keep your feet secure in the boot for all day long comfort . Bought 2 packs at ollies wish i bought more for the price when they were in stock . Even better than socks bought off the tool trucks . Man its gonna be a long night watching this one . John and crew y'all got a lot and can definitely make your money back and some . Gonna finish watching all of the video . An for craftman i like the original industrial series . Oem craftman before they sold out . Even got blackhawk , popular mechanics , matco , Milwaukee and so many other odd brands even if its not american or is a off brand wrench i still use them unless they bend or break or start to slip then they go into the scrap metal . Even no name rachets use em till they break then chunkem lol. Dewalt and Milwaukee has been the top 2 making great tools that really last not even harbor freight tools like earthquake can't even handle the stress like Milwaukee and Dewalt for heavy jobs . Like calhauk ratchet wrenches dont use them they slip badly and can get you seriously hurt . Was removing the bumper on a old mercury bobcat and the calhauk slipped and my hand went across the metal and cut my thumb open all the way to the bone showing the Tendon's and Peroxide Neosporin and liquid bandage saved my thumb and it was Healed up nice and tight with a scare looking like a lightning bolt. If it works use it if it makes the job harder stop using it and use what you know that works . A book can say anything but those with experience can get the job done right and faster than what the book says . Mechanics know what i mean . An its always best to have more than just one of the same size double up and add some torque lol . Y'all are a trip 😂
Anything thats metal and its broke . Pull out the Lincoln or Miller welder and get to fixing . Especially a garden rake are an easy 5 minute fix . Bend her right tack her in place double check and weld baby weld and stronger and better than factory repaint and done .
Is the dewalt jobsite saw any good? I need to upgrade from my Hercules...great seeing you Jordan!
I love both your channels.
