I got one as well for electronics, and yeah, they work great. Love how the gears mesh up so you can manually break loose super-tight screws, and then it takes it the rest of the way out, which is honestly the part that kills your wrist, unscrewing those 15 tiny little screws one after the other. Small screws you don't want super-high torque because it will strip out the screw socket. For woodworking screws, you definitely just want to chuck a bit in your drill, or something designed for a lot higher torque.

If the drywall isn't perfectly vertical, the position of the laser will cause differing vertical lines to be cast. That's why the two were not parallel until moved next to each other.
I have the non-electric Fantik set and I love it. It's not for heavy work. For electronics, but I've found it super handy for delicate screws like box hinges. Fantik also makes a portable tire inflator for your car that is absolutely outstanding. It goes with me everywhere and has been a lifesaver more than a few times.
Spudger. The metal paddle in the precision screwdriver kit is called a spudger. It's like a prybar that won't scratch plastic, glass or metal and is common in electronics repair. You wouldn't want a high powered precision screwdriver, you'd strip threads, so they're all pretty much 4v. The next step up would be a Vistar or Dewalt 8v screwdriver.

I used to work at a place where we had to cut down hundreds of boxes every day and those mini chainsaws are amazing. Easy to wield and will tear through cardboard in a split second. Makes pairing down boxes go from a tedious annoying thing that can take forever, even with good blades, to a quick 5-10 minute job. Highly recommend for that one specific application.

I think the Fantik Level is perfect for the non-tradesman~ Yeah, if I was a finish carpenter, and had to put up cabinets or trim or brickwork in brightly lit areas, splurge, buy the Milwaukee. But for the homeowner who wants to hang paintings, a small shelf, leveling bookshelves, in a bedroom where the walls are only 14-15 feet away... More than sufficient if it's accurate~

I have the Fantik S1 Pro and E1 Max. I use both daily in HVAC Service work and they've held up with no issues for a year now. Definitely think Fantik is a brand that is worth the money!
That electric screwdriver is perfect for computer stuff as high torque is not only not needed, it's actually a selling point to the screwdriver. If you have to put in like 10 screws one after the other and all of them are for delicate components, the last thing you want is to overtorque one screw and accidentally crack a motherboard. The fact that it comes with a pair of tweezers and a little prying bar is a dead give away it was made for use on electronics. I have one (though not the one shown) which works wonders. Low torque for putting most of the screw in, but it can also be used as a bog standard screwdriver to loosen or tighten the rest of the way.
I am a R&D designer and engineer. I have several of this screw drivers for my most common small hex and torx bis. I used it every day. It is meant for more delicate work, not work for a wood workshop.
I will disagree as I had that model and it wouldn't break most screw, you had to twist it like a normal hand driver. The bigger one, the S1, actually works well.
If you want an automatic screwdriver, give up another $30 and get a Vessel Ball Grip electric screwdriver. Super handy little tool, would love to see you put one to the test
Still not built for heavy duty applications, I'd guess. I'd love to be surprised though. I will say, however, that they're still quality drivers nonetheless and function perfectly for screwdriving tasks. I use the ratcheting version with a quick change bit adapter as a little stubby bit driver and it works a treat for the less stubborn bolts on my machines at work. Vessel makes alot of great stuff even outside of their heralded screwdrivers (I suggest perusing their tool/bit pouches & holders like the mini ball handle bit holder/driver, for example) and I'll never suggest them highly enough.
I have that exact same chainsaw. It saves me firing up my stihl 170, on odd pruning jobs and it's saved me loads of time and hassle. I have my own gardening business and no, it's not going to replace petrol saws, but I've stopped using my pruning saw 😀 My only gripe is the chain continues to spin once trigger is let off. And I paid £25 delivered, its made its money back in the first hour of use, bonus ! 👌🏻👍🏻
I bought one of the 20v electric pruners off of Amazon. It's the larger one that does up to 30mm branches and it's a beast. It's so much fun to use and it's absolutely unsafe in the hands of a moron. Pull the trigger and the jaws are closing in a half-second and any part of you in the way is gone. So much fun. It also wasn't cheap and it's not built cheap. Nice and solid. I like that it also has a mode so the jaws only open halfway so you can work on thinner stuff faster as you're not waiting for it to open the full 30+mm.
4:11 it's a prying tool, used to take apart electronics and laptops mostly, to pop out all the little plastic clips. Tweezers are useful for small ribbon connectors, or to get small parts that might have fallen into nooks and crannies. I work in IT and have a very similar kit (albeit with a non electric screwdriver, but same type of case and pop out mechanism with all the bits) that I keep in my bag all the time, as well as a bigger ratcheting screwdriver with bits in the handle. Makes it so I always have everything to open up a computer, laptop or other smaller device.
I picked one up on temu for 13 bucks i love it for working on attaching electronic boards too 3d prints. Works great also comes with a demagnitizer as well as a magnitizer for when needed.
I bought one of those mini chainsaw's that was compatible with Makita batteries for $40. I adore it for small breakdowns, and I even cut a 6 in tree branch with it. The actual Makita mini chainsaw was almost $200! There's no way it's a 4-5x better tool.
I do landscaping for work and at one of our accounts theres an old couple with a pretty large wooded property. They were having us clear branches and they brought out one of these no-name mini chainsaws to let us use. I proceeded to use it and i was blown away how awesome it was, Even with a generic little 18v battery on it. Much faster and easier than using loppers
Keep in mind Makita machines are actually communicating with the battery, those $40 machines aren't. Which could lead to overload and eventually brick your $80 dollar Makita battery by this cheap machine. I'm not saying these $40 machines are bad, but you gotta make sure what their limits are and don't use em as a professional machine.
I have not tried that 6" Saker chainsaw but I bought the 4" version because Midlife Stockman had this badass Stihl. I love that Saker and we cut here constantly. For $39 you can't beat that
The flat thing is known as a spudger. Its for prying open cases. My Hammer K3 has a similar way to attach the blade. Much bigger and easier to access but essentially the same. Its really secure but also has drive pins.
That Saker is surprisingly popular! Possibly the best budget pruning chainsaw out there. Usually ships with 3 chains in total. Two batteries, a charger, and as we saw, a nice case. Surprisingly nice. Also, $500 for a laser level.... that's just as good as the one costing $13. Yeah, for saving $487 over the Milwaukee version; I can put up with an internal battery that _might_ need to be charged up before I can use it. As far as a budget table saw goes, Skil. We all know DeWALT makes the best one. But not everyone needs the best. (Or can afford "best" prices.) Get the Skil, happy cutting. Tune in next week when John's employees use his credit card to each buy the most dangerously sketchy tools for John to try out. What's that you got there, Sam? A hand grenade!? Dammit!! Hold on John, put on your Shop Shades before you test out that thing.
“How do we not have higher standards (in the US)?” Because the GQP keeps eliminating government oversight in favor of letting companies doing as they please and “self regulating” which means maximizing profits.
Trust me. You don’t want the govt regulating tools. Ask the European Union that question. Less govt is better. More innovation is driven by less regulation. That is a 100% fact
I'm a big fan of the ES121/ES15 screwdrivers, instead of the forward/backward button, it's gyro activated, so you just turn it like an eighth of an turn whichever direction you want it to go, and it keeps going. Definitely more for computers or like, I use it on my 3D printers all the time, or at work in equipment racks. For anything in wood or the walls, I don't even bother with those things, I just use a normal drill/driver. You definitely hit the nail on the head, it's for electronics, not a workshop.
I got a few of these items from Amazon as part of the Vine program. The little chainsaw is handy, especially if you have a ton of raspberry bushes to eliminate. I also have that screwdriver, or one very similar anyway, made by Soleilwear. It's got a much nicer case in my opinion, all plastic mind you, but it's not that Borg cube of bits. It's also got a built in magnetizer and a slot for needle nose tweezers and a pry bar. Best precision kit I've ever used, no problem tearing down old laptops and the bits aren't soft. Edit: Yea, the Soleilwear screwdriver is almost exactly the same as the one in the video, just a different case and slightly different driver; mine has a battery indicator and no "speed". Neither are OEM, they're a white label product with whatever dropshipper's name slapped on them. I find it great for electronics and would definitely recommend it if that's your intended use, certainly not a replacement for your standard drivers though.
Um loose clothes no, but gloves are a given. Why do you think kevlar chainsaw gloves and chaps exist? To bind in the chain and stop it. You end up with a mangled limb instead of a severed one.
I'm just staring the video but the Fanttik screwdriver set is great. I have it and haven't touched my iFix it Manta kit much since. Great tool for electronics. For bigger jobs I have a Würth one (also Dremel and Bosch branded) that is a lot stronger. Edit: Now seeing the E1 part. You are absolutely correct that this screwdriver isn't for a woodshop. It's for computers, phones and general more delicate electronics. As I've stated originally, I have another one for the rest. Edit 2: The laser, when you argued over the non removeable battery. The whole thing is literally not bigger than the battery of the Milwaukee one. Just take it out and charge it the same way you would with the battery.
6:41 I have one but mine was built in japan, they're used for fixing and/or building computers and fixing electronics ONLY. They dont have enough power to go through wood but are great for putting small screws in motherboards or taking apart stuff like xbox, Playstation, monitors etc.
Cutest little thing ever. 🥰 🤪😂🤣 That little “screwdriver” is perfect for electronics, i.e. phone, laptop, or even watches. “Are you entered?” - ‘Gladiator’ 😎
the mini chainsaws are nice because my dad likes to do yard work but he doesnt have the strength to use pruners, so those little chainsaws work great for him.
I have two different sets of them screwdrivers and they are perfect for my side business of small electronics repair. They are great for what they are but not meant for anything past electronics.
Its a spudger. Really a medical spatula, but we use them for spudgers. You can use it to pry open plastic cases. Also can use it to scrape off potting compound and expose traces, in a pinch.
I’ve got a fanttik air compressor pump and it works great. It’s well built and can pump up a bicycle tire quickly. I use it in a portable tool box for group bike rides.
the chainsaw is nice for camping, when u collect some wood in the forest and its a little to big to throw on your firepit. cutting pallets or something. for 12$ bro its a steal
I love those little auto punches, I got like 40 of them off of ali express because they're only $1 each, and I stuck them to every machine / workbench / table I own.
That was fun. I think it's safer to bolt your 7-1/4" portable circ saw to a board and use it. That table saw wouldn't even make a good boat anchor. The laser test had me in stitches.
Thats funny. My Mom bought me that little battery chainsaw for my birthday. I never thought it would be worth a crap. Instead, Its actually pretty handy. I've been impressed with it. I have an Echo CS-590 and bring the battery one with me too. It's great for the little limbs and stuff.
I like the Fanttik S1. Its metal and solid and drives things well around the house of just small shit. You got the cheap one, I can't even set screws on electronics with the one you bought, cuz I bought it too and returned it.

that screw driver is meant for laptop repair you use the pry tool to take of the bezels or keyboards of a laptop.
8:12 The answer is = Gladiator. Great movie btw and love the reference!
Gladiator.....
10:02 I love how he puts pressure on the back of the drill for the Diablo bit, but not for The tick tock bit
Movie is Gladiator
4:11 it's a prying tool, used to take apart electronics and laptops mostly, to pop out all the little plastic clips. Tweezers are useful for small ribbon connectors, or to get small parts that might have fallen into nooks and crannies. I work in IT and have a very similar kit (albeit with a non electric screwdriver, but same type of case and pop out mechanism with all the bits) that I keep in my bag all the time, as well as a bigger ratcheting screwdriver with bits in the handle. Makes it so I always have everything to open up a computer, laptop or other smaller device.
The sudden haack thu had me spitting my tea...
To be fair, if you got that whole kit for under $15, you paid for a battery and got a mini chainsaw kit.
For $39 you can't beat that
You really went with the hawk tuah?! Bwahahahaha
4:10 It's called a Spudger, used for prying things yes. Very common in electronic repair kits, comes in plastic and metal usually.
Those step bits were hilarious.
Gladiator!! Can’t wait for the second one! Great video 👍🏼
Please correct me if I am wrong but aren't conical bits meant for making holes bigger, not actually making holes...
Thank you John.
For risking your safety, to protect ours.🤕
Damn near spat my coffee out at the Hawk Tuah.....
Yeah I'm sick of that but that was a good use of it!
That's a spudger. It's used to trip clips and pry apart things like laptop screens or opening phones and the like.
As soon as the "hawk twah" girl popped up I stopped the video left this comment and now I'm not finishing the video lmao
But.. why?
Who cares?
Cry about it
I have the larger version of that screwdriver and I love it! Not a drill, but you can definitely use it to drive some things.
Hard to take someone seriously when they keep calling Torx bits "stars".
Why do housewives have no business owning chainsaws? Housewife here, I own 3. We can handle a chainsaw as well as any man. That was offensive.
One of your funniest videos ever. keep up the good work john and all your guys are awesome.
Gloves with a chainsaw? Aren't you supposed to never wear those when using a equipment with fast moving parts that can catch on them?
When your chainsaw is near enough to grab your glove you're in deep crap anyway.
Um loose clothes no, but gloves are a given. Why do you think kevlar chainsaw gloves and chaps exist? To bind in the chain and stop it. You end up with a mangled limb instead of a severed one.
@@JordosTechShackmore of a bruise and maybe a slight cut been there done it and the pants work very well especially on a 5ft bar
Ohh my god, that tablesaw was terrifying! I really didn’t think that you were even going to try running anything through that ganky pos thing.
6:41 I have one but mine was built in japan, they're used for fixing and/or building computers and fixing electronics ONLY. They dont have enough power to go through wood but are great for putting small screws in motherboards or taking apart stuff like xbox, Playstation, monitors etc.
+1 for the Metalocalypse clip. :D
I love the electric screw driver for RC trucks, especially for my 1:24 & 1:18 scale stuff. They all use small machine screws
Cutest little thing ever. 🥰 🤪😂🤣
That little “screwdriver” is perfect for electronics, i.e. phone, laptop, or even watches.
Just discovered the second channel. Gonna be a good night. 😎😎
Have a Twinkie
2:20 Rotten walnut.. But still.... Kind of impressed so far :D
4:09 Its for violently breaking apart phones, batteries. Shit that is glued together :P
I love those little auto punches, I got like 40 of them off of ali express because they're only $1 each, and I stuck them to every machine / workbench / table I own.
The pry bar and tweezers are great for computer and phone repair.
Battling drills Bracket style?! Mindless, guy bait content?? More like the best idea for a video EVER! You sir have a new fan
those cheap lasers are good, im plumber and i use them to get waterlines straigth and radiators to same/correct height without measuring
Omfg. The way I yelled when you clipped the ultimate showdown. Throwback. Hooooly
That was fun.
I think it's safer to bolt your 7-1/4" portable circ saw to a board and use it.
That table saw wouldn't even make a good boat anchor.
The laser test had me in stitches.
The screwdriver set is for electronics. It works great on computers and cephones and things like that
Step bits are good for punching holes in plexiglass too. A lot less instances of cracking.
Nice Gladiator reference there, John. This was a great video reviewing these viral tools!
I think you should use that metal drill bit thingy with the electric screwdriver, I think they're probably made for each other 😗👍🏽
I bought that same step bit set off Amazon about two years ago. Immediately upgraded the bits but the punch is still holding up strong
Davey Struggle is actually an awesome channel
