They do beautiful sets, but after the alternate art covers and the digital version of each book on DDB, I wish they would give an option to *not* pay for yet another copy of a book in the boxed sets.
Some questions about the hardware: are the Hoard Scarab pins supposed to represent actual Hoard Scarabs from the book, but are pins just because, or are they actually meant to be pins designed to look like Hoard Scarabs, per the encounter? Also are the markings on the dragon tooth meant to specify it as one particular dragon tooth relevant only to the encounter, or are they just random markings used to make the generic tooth look cool?
Hey NinjaGamer! The Hoard Scarabs do fit perfectly in a one inch square on the battle map if you want to use them as minis, though keep in mind that they're Tiny in their stat block. They're really intended to be used in a puzzle using a designated spot on the included map where you have to figure out which orientation to place each of them in in four different squares. And they're made into pins because, why not? As for the dragon's tooth, the symbol on it is the number 6 in Draconic which is used in one of the adventure's puzzles. -Theo
I do like they are becoming more affordable but it makes some boxes a little lacking. I would have loved Fizban as a gold or higher. Really wanted a battle map of each dragon lair or something.
B&G can be pretty amazing. I have CoS legendary and rime of frost silver which are both worth every dollar! However, ive also gotten the van richten set which is similar in content to this set and I would not advise it...when B&G does a full campaign its incredible but these weird fluff/character option/small mission books just dont have the value of the full campaign books in my opinion. Campaign coins I will definitely be getting for my group, they are neat

@@TheGallantGoblin I saw it on amazon long ago. Currently playing in a campaign (waterdeep) as dragonborn drakenwarden being bonded to a true dragon. (hate the gecko lizard they have or say is the companion in drakenwarden class). So many things make no sense how they did the class. Have they never read dragon rider books like eragon? Or watched dragonheart?

This and the Tal'Dorei boxes are their best efforts IMO. So much good usable stuff in both.
