There are horrors out there with Oscar noms, you can always hope :) I think though this movie is too contemporary for the Oscars which generally favor more traditional films. BAFTA and especially Golden Globes may look far more kindly on this film though. She's given people plenty to talk, think, and feel about with her appearance in this movie for years into the future, which is far more than the same but distinctly momentary effect a(n accompanying) win of any kind would accomplish.

Indecent Proposal is a HUGE CLASSIC love story which proved Demi to be an ICON of all time. ALSO GHOST put her on the map with her acting muscles who can forget her crying with one tear coming down her eye! I LOVE HER!!!!!!
I didn't like Indecent Proposal but I just watched it recently. It is pretty cringe now but that is probably because it didn't age well. The premise and script is now a bit campy.

Anne's delivery of "Don't even think about playing politics with me little darling, you'll be up way past your bedtime" is golden, as is the whole scene. Back when actresses had an abundance of great roles and scripts.
Demi should've mentioned The Hunchback of Notre Dame being the voice. I loved that film growing up, makes me cry. Despite what people say, Striptease is not too bad. A much better film than Showgirls.

Demi was definitely mistreated by the industry. They made her a star and then they faded her at the same pace. Midia was also very brutal to her and I remember being young and believing everything that the press used to tell about her, and I didn't like her as an actress because of that. Years later I got finally aware of what happened and I respect her immensely for being such a strong person into a very unfair industry. She deserves all the recognition she can get.

Ghost is one of my favorites, it’s a perfect mix of comedy, thriller, supernatural, and romance.
That scene between Demi and Viggo in 'G.I. Jane' is absolutely brutal.
