Seeing this live brought me to tears. I have seen Waters 4 times, and I was in tears more than once at each show. There is no other artist that can do that for me.

I don't think the boys ever came home. They left their horrifically shattered souls on a foreign shore..their troubled ghosts remain there. Those returned were strangers to their families, friends....so traumatised and bereft. Same goes for any war anywhere.
When the British troops came on the economy was in shambles and people were upset the returning solders would take jobs for others. But Roger's father never come home. Neither did mine. Vera's promise was unfulfilled. :(

Totally agree. Half way through Vera on the original when Roger sings, Vera.... Vera... the raw but incredibly powerfulness is so much better than this version.
I dig his acoustic playing. He's obviously not an amazing instrumentalist but it fits with his overall style, and especially in beefing up his message. Something personal and emotional, rather than "wow look how good he is at playing"
It's called Vera. Not Vera Lynn. Also; Vera + BTBBH are two separate songs on the album. There is no mistake that needs to be called out here unless you are a 100% poser bottom pants.
Ken Havens It depends on the song. For example you can play anbitw2 or comfortably numb with out the others but your not really gonna hear the thin ice, or the empty spaces in a concert like this.
