Personally ? If you don’t have a CarPlay or android auto, this is a very good screen . Quality wise , size and price .

I’m currently looking for a Tesla screen for my Laramie 2500. How is the microphone for phone calls? Can I still have my 2 backup cameras 1 for the bed and 1 that is for the tailgate? Can you watch UA-cam or like movies on there as well? And is the quality pretty good? I saw how smooth it looked when you were messing with it and I really love that quality! Sorry I’m asking so many questions I just really want a good quality one.
Quality of calls are ok, yes you can maintain 2 cams , yes you can watch movies and UA-cam absolutely . No worries , I’m always here 24/7 lol.
U cant use factory phone microphone? I wanna get this so bad but wondering if i need the aftermarket one that sticks out.
Nope, unless you tap into the oem mic which is amped. That’s the issue why some people shy away from these units .

@@reynaldoaguilar1590 where did you buy the headunit from? Usually when you choose the right model, you should receive the right harness to activate the AC.

Why would there not be steering wheel buttons ? On a 2014+ model? Plus , i can use voice control? What’s the question?
@@KingSevi have a 2020 ram classic and unfortunately it doesn't have steering wheel volume control. . But it does have the uconect screen. .
@tonyc2136 what? 2020 no steering wheel volume control ? Have you checked behind the steering wheel? All Rams have volume and track control. Check at 3 and 9 o’clock behind the steering wheel.
@@KingSev i have checked, also cause I've owned a 03 stratus rt and it had those buttons on the back, but this one doesn't unfortunately.

Hey, so where was it bought from? If not from my Link from the description of the video, it may be slightly different OS on it and it may not be the same path or software installed .
I’m not sure I bought the truck 2 weeks ago and it already had the screen and I’ve been trying my best to figure it out and you have the same exact one I have but I just can’t seem to reset everything to factory

@@sethcatinterraciallove2866 watch it, if you factory default . You may lose the essential files that needs to boot up. There’s a wrong way and right way to factory default , anything white screen , don’t touch . Go to factory, enter 123456 or 7890 and factory default

Hello, couple of questions, if my truck has the backup cam and the oem cargo cam, is there an adapter harness to utilize those cameras? Also, as I research several of these, a common issue is the hvac fan control, oem has 7 and these units only have four, and the complaint has been that you don't get the higher fan speeds. Is this unit the same? I see in the vid that 50% fan speed is level 2. I am disappointed that there isn't XM connectivity outside of using the the app. but could get over it. LOL
Hey, every unit is designed accordingly to each trim and model and year so unfortunately I cannot answer the cargo camera but I can for sure tell you that you can install XM satellite from either Best Buy or XM direct for another $59 if that’s what you want as a hard-core XM user for 25 so years I gave up on XM lately. It’s been like five years they play the same thing over and over. On a sidenote these units are amazing the sky is the limit you can download anything you want through the head unit or listen to off-line Spotify, UA-cam music Amazon music so the sky is the limit I hope I was able to answer all your questions. Maybe you can contact aucarauto directly? @Aucarauto oh, and the fan speed is more than OK
Can we still have access to the dodge menu settings like the factory unit ? air suspension settings, parking sensors sensitivity and so on
Hey; no, these are in the main headunit , you won’t have access to those unless you install an extra OBDII, but I highly suggest getting this instead, because if you have all the options you mentioned; then you should have the touch screen from Dodge. So you won’t need to change the whole headunit, keep everything oem, instead add this AI box to have exactly what this unit has , while keeping OEM.

I was thinking getting an android box controller with the electronic card inside of the head unit ! Do you know sellers for this type of product? How has the radio been working out for you I’ve been thinking of getting one for my Ram but not to sure I’ve seen some reviews of people having problems not necessarily this brand so I’m not 100% sure on getting one.
Good question, so the one and only flawless headunit you can get for the ram, is the one I shared . Every other one I’ve tried in the past had an issue or failed down the road. Every vehicle has a different radio installed in it, even though it’s android based but different factories make them. I have a 2016 Ram 1500 with an engine tuner module hooked up where I can change the engine characteristics, such as sport mode, eco mode, tow mode, etc... I control that module with the steering wheel buttons. If I install this will it disable being able to control that tuner?
If the entire tuner is android base or has an app to be installed on an android OS. Then yes . How do you control or now from your headunit? Or a better question, can you control it now from the headunit ?
@@KingSev no I control it through the steering wheel buttons and the options come up on that little screen between the speedometer and the RPMs. It doesn't go through the center console screen

Does anyone know how to make it compatible with a manual A/C I am watching several videos currently I want to install one in my 2018 Ford Edge with manual A/C connect everything and everything works fine only my A/C does Not responding on screen I want to know if there is a solution.

@@KingSev also, i have a ram rebel that has the original 8.4" screen...is there any issues with taking that out and using the new head unit. I also have the air suspension, seat warmer and steering wheel warmer. is there a option on the new head unit for that to be controlled? did not hear that on there...

@@KingSev it looks like it keeps the original buttons that control the air suspension and the other features i mentioned. as long as it allows me to keep those features i would be willing to buy this. will i be able to keep all my factory features?

What do you mean canbus Type? The link that is in my description, comes a full package , with canbus. So nothing extra is needed.

@@KingSevwhen you go into setting. Vehicle and then select the CAN box type. I don’t see my truck anywhere in the menus. I found a “XP dodge Ram Xp” setting. But my sound doesn’t work. If I change it to anything else nothing works. No AC. No volume. Nothing.
So I need to know what setting to select for my truck
@whittcondit7341 you do not have exact same truck, do not play with those, you’ll brick the headunit, leave it at what it is from their factory. You missed the whole other questions I asked you.
