As we wrap up another amazing year, we like to take this time to reflect on some of our standout episodes. Over the next two weeks, we’ll be revisiting a few handpicked favorites that resonated with you guys and sparked really great discussions. Whether you’ve heard them before or are tuning in for the first time, these episodes are a perfect way to dive back into some of the best moments of the year. Stay tuned-new episodes resume soon!
Another re-run. No complaints, although I own a Duramax, I like listening to Lenny's insights. I'll eventually get a 5.9, and a 7.3, so these episodes help for future planning.
@preachers4135 I cut my teeth on the IDIs when they were newer, and the 7.3s Powerstrokes when they first hit the streets...gotta knock the cobwebs off lol!!😁
I just added a Radiator/Coolant Pressure Gauge to pair with my Water Temperature Gauge. I have had a terrible time with radiator caps failing in weeks or not much longer than a month. Almost all radiator caps - no matter the brand - are made by Motorad. I stopped using the safety lever versions and have gone back to just using the simple caps.
What is the back pressure when due for regen? What about a retrofit kit for older trucks? Would be relatively simple to rig. A back pressure sencer a electric high pressure pump with a contusions rated injector and a thermal cupple ( control the regen fire temp by varying pump voltage/ output pressure)
What is being done to the 12.5 pined at 18° to keep a shop from reading the data plate that said 13° and installing the pump with proper18°《mechanics thinking 13+5≠18 actually18+5 =23°》?

👍A rerun worth rewatching. Enjoy the journey into the mechanical world.

i just had a CP4 failure on my 2012 6.7 powerstroke what is the better pump to go with

Is that college associated Illinois?
I’m still waiting for carb legal compound turbos it’s been 15 years since California started smogging diesel’s and still nothing
