- Very FAST Autobahn acceleration run with the all-new 2021 BMW M4 G82 Competition powered by a straight six delivering 510 hp & 650 Nm of torque (total weight: 1.800 kg) All power of this version is going through the rear wheels so 4.0 s are very competitive. I also think that the 7.6 seconds 100-200 km/h are simply insane, that is about 1.5 seconds quicker than our MY18 M4 Competition LCI!!! Please watch yourself and tell me your thoughts! 100-200 in 7,7s?!This m4 has much more than 510 hp.
It’s not all about horsepower but about how efficient that engine/transmission work together. Also peak horsepower vs. a well balanced power curve is a totally different story.
@@Automann-TV Exactly. Having 250-300 HP over a huge RPM range may yield better results than a poorly tuned car with 350 peak HP.
It has indeed.540-550 hp in dyno.

The M4 performs amazingly, I wish it wasn't that expensive. May have to wait until the successor hits the market to even consider it.
Now it's way over 100.000€ for a well equipped one...
Now you have some great pieces for like 75k € in Germany, plus taxes, in Croatia i will pay about 90 000€

This car hits a brick wall at 295,there seems to be some sort of a limiter . Without that I think it would have a higher top speed than the rs6 which does around 310 if I’m not wrong .
RS6 does 312 GSP. It's impossible for the M4 imo. Max 300kmh maybe
I saw on zeperfs test site max gps speed 322 for g80/82 without limiter
@@lowrider69yearsago58 I doubt it. As u can see till 295 the m4 accelerates effortlessly. I'm pretty sure it could do 10kph more than the rs6 and even the rs7 and top out at 315-320 GPS speed.
Agree MKS, without the limiter it could well reach above 300 km/h GPS

First of all, both cars deliver incredible performance within their class. I still would say that you feel that extra punch of the M5 Comp, which ran crazy sub 7 seconds 100-200 km/h;) But in the end the M4 isn’t only about straight line but mainly about supercar feel in the corners. That’s why I would put my money on a RWD M4 Comp today😀

Need to find a sound check video but made in the US. For example the RSQ8 sounds epic there, and heavily muted in Europe and here in UK :(
I think my comment was deleted for some reason. But check out Doug DeMuros review of the RSQ8. He does a short sound check, and it sounds way better.

Natürlich. Du musst halt nur den richtigen Autobahnabschnitt haben. Bei uns im Norden gibts ne Menge Abschnitte mit +/- 0%….im Süden ist das natürlich unmöglich bzw. Max. Glücksspiel;)

not a big deal. The old m6 v10 with 507 Hp with rwd has the same accleration (1 sec more 12.7 sec 0-200) and V10 not like this machbox...This car is a joke and don t run 300 km/h. 297 is dead.
Gps 280. The V10 runs gps 310 km/h
and from 200 to 300 is more faster.
And still wait until the motor of the m4 will damage like the 4.4 biturbo.
V8, V10,V12 are the best engines without turbo.
c63, 6.2 V8 520 hp has the same accleration and top speed also 290.

Great review. The front end still looks hideous though, and the engine will be complete garbage and ready for the landfill exactly one day after it's out of warranty.
Actually it is considered really good cuz it ccan take up to 800hp
@@letsplaylplp If you've ever owned a BMW, you'll know what I'm talking about. Especially a forced induction motor. Valves and turbo impellers will be carbon soot coated in a few years, and I'm sure main bearings and timing will go pretty quickly too. Cars like this you lease, not buy.

I want to like looks of this car but simply can't and its not just the grill. I hate the stance ,car sits to high, wheels are hiden in fenders that just doesn't look good.
