- Now we want to find out if the RS3 "performance" version really is quicker than the "regular" RS3 8Y. Is that 407 hp just marketing? Spoiler Alert: No! Ive driven the "regular" RS3 and was impressed, much more fun than the CLA 45s. This Performance version is just perfect
I’ve also drown both but me personally had way more fun in the CLA45. It felt more agile, quicker and more responsive in general
For me the A45s is more fun and responsive, also a better sound&pops in stock version.

3.5 sec is crazy
The faster acceleration times may not come by just 7 hp on top. They really programmed the launch control and gearchanges to perfection in this final model! Together with the semislicks it launches significantly better then previous RS3 models.
Audi is the best.
My BMW serie 4 with 320hp and 1600 kg is a snail compared to this crazy car 🤯

I’ ve an RS3 8y 2023 with dynamic pack and with internal time keep, i do 3.3 😅 I think my motor is in good health 🤪
Don't kid yourself, it's not that quick. My Carbon Ed Sportback has got the dynamic pack, which adds ceramics, mag ride and top end to 180. It doesn't make it any faster than than an RS3 without it, you do know that?! Also, the timer in the dash is total bullshit. I used a mate's timing gizmo, same one they use on Carwow, best I could get is 3.7s to 60 on the iffy Bridgestones. Now have Michelin PS4's and we did a couple of runs on a warm road, it's dropped to 3.5s. Handles quite a lot better too, plus a lot more grip, Best mod you can make to it. Wish I'd put them on sooner.
I do a 2.84 messured on a draggy and thats with an 8p rs3 so you're slooooooooooooooooooooooooow.
@@luciussander8217wait till you try the conti sport contact 7s 🔥🔥its slightly better. Couldn’t believe it but the Michelin ps5s will be better. Idk when they’re releasing it though. Side wall is so good looking

My 8Y RS3 does not sound this good even with the sports exhaust. Is there any difference between the performance and a standard launch edition car? Also my car is a UK car (not sure if this makes any difference). I also don't get any pops from the exhaust as you do on the startup!
The european cars have an opf. This is a second catalist which is inside every new car car since september 2018. It takes a lot of the sound.
@@erayza101 thanks for your reply. I am aware of this and given that this review is in Germany (i.e. in Europe) I would expect this performance variation to have the same exhaust.
The silencer in the middle and the Gearbox are different to the standard RS3. I have the Performance Edition and It is a little bit louder and buzzier than the standard RS3

Interior quality is the big L of this car, in fact it is a deal breaker for such price tag.

Yes. The car also comes with larger front wheels than the rear(staggered). This is to reduce understeer🙌

No, the car is not wider at the front. The tyres are wider, by about an inch at the front. As a result, the car has a terrible turning circle. I own one.
@@luciussander8217 Yeah sorry, i was thinking about the 8V where you had the option of going square or staggered😊 But the front fenders are slightly wider than the rear fenders.

It's not cheap. Have you even sat in one? I own one, it's actually really good inside, better than my AMG A45 was. Had mine a year now, zero rattles, looks classy and is very comfortable, good driving position as well.

@@luciussander8217 I'm sure it's a little hard to admit when you own one, but it's true that both the A3/RS and Golf got a worse interior compared to last gen. Plus, don't let me get started on how poorly the leather in RS Audis tend to age. I've seen year-old RS5s with insane creases on the leather of the driver side near the seat and on the headrest. Not acceptable for a car of that price.
Furthermore, almost every reviewer said that the A45 is better built so the guy above is correct.
It's certainly cheaper than last gen, but it's still fine in my opinion. I'd honestly prefer this interior because it at least looks better / more modern. I never cared for the interior design of the old one.
0-100 is slow I've seen the regular do 3.3 and even 3.2

Not a good car. My friend got lots of problems such as unusual sound when he received it in the first few months. The dealer couldn’t fix it. Don’t buy it .
