You foxbody guys tired of seeing LS swaps might get a kick out of this. I swapped a coyote in a 78 camaro. Ran low 10's with 5 psi of boost and some good air. Turned the boost up to 10 but air is crap right now but I think it will crack a 9 soon. Got some clips on my channel including a pass from a few weeks ago.
Cool I honestly think gm should have gm Ford should have Ford but it is funny since there are so many braindead people doing ls swaps following each other like blind sheep lol. That is very cool.

@@midnight347it’s not about people being brain dead, the main reason people do LS swaps is because their affordable, reliable and the ease of use………it’s a no brainer. GM made a great engine and it’s cheap, of course the masses are gonna jump on that wagon.

after going from my 4v cobra to a gen3 GT i realized this engine is exactly what i always wanted. they just pull alllll the way to redline. i know its not a special car but man these motors are absolutely awesome.
You should try that driveline in your old cobra lol. Even better since it's more raw and lighter it will feel and actually BE faster.

hey i know it's late but huge congratz on the gt500, i didnt realize people were twin turboing those mfkrs already goddamn! that clip of you with the new exhaust getting into it at the end of the video made my spine tingle, those shifts combined with the turbo noises and corsa were earth shattering!

Actually there's a few of us lately that have been working with dorman more and more and they've been making much better quality stuff SLOWLY...they've been really starting to lean on content creators like myself and Rain Man Ray and Eric from South Main Auto to critique their products so they can make it better

If I’m being totally honest sn95 is just not my cup of tea. 99-04 has always been my go to. Very similar cars but I’d rather build a 99-04 car over a sn

Idk homie I wanted to do this to my 66 but quite a few people said it cost them around 15k to do it. You can get a 530hp 302 crate engine from Ford for like 15k seems like a cooler option maybe
I will getting from you at somepoint soon all the stuff I need to Coyote swap my 2007 197. I have the 3650 trans I would like to keep but would need pretty much everything else. I had the Vortech V3 HO kit on the 4.6 3V, I would like to run that as well at somepoint on the Coyote. Maybe you can make a list on your website to help order what you do have to sell.

Can I find information Gen3 Ford Expedition coyote swap?
Is that car ford Lazer red or something else. And what color is that powder coat? I have a Lazer red 95 GT and that looks killer. The required parts for the swap makes my head spin, makes me feel like the tech of modding my 5.0ho is rubbing 2 rocks together. I wouldn't even entertain the idea of this unless I had a dedicated bay with no time limit and at least 10k, 15k be nice available for it. If I pulled it off for 5k great but if I went sideways I could afford it. So I'll stick with my plans of and fresh .030 bore n pistons set of 185 enforcers and street cam, only thing I'm stressing is the possibility of the stock computer or intergrating a stand alone into factory wiring without buying that $900 integration box for mega squirt and the last of the quarter horse kits are even $500... But that is all I guess in but the moates closed and sold off their stock to core tuning so when they're gone I guess they're gone? I'm a carb guy so this world is new to me but I want to keep my car somewhat original not hacked up and carb swapped so on, makes me appreciate my older vehicals being able to just spin a distributor and turning a couple screws.

Is there anyone in northern California that does this sort of swap (entire swap) with a gen 3 coyote or a 03/04 terminator block.
My Gen 1 came with a MT82, I would like to use it due to the amount of highway driving I do. That being said, the original was a TR3650 with the 4.6. If I want to use the MT82, what are you doing to make the driveshaft work? The length is about 4 inches longer overall and the carrier bearing for the 2 piece is slightly off from the original. Thanks.
In an s197 you'd think an 11-14 manual driveshaft would work once you're running the mt82 in the car it's the same thing at that point.
So how much does it cost total for a complete swap MT82 Gen1?.
I think it can be done for 10k pretty easily if you're smart and buy the stuff needed from them. It can be alot more it depends what kind of build you want. Do you just wanna throw a stock gen 1 in there and roll? Do you wanna upgrade to a better manifold or cams or whatever? Are you gonna boost it? A basic swap could be done for 10k imo but it can be done more it less it depends on the overall level of build you wanna do. If you're doing like me and doing a ported gen 2 cj and cams with a new tkx 5 speed it is gonna cost a decent bit I might have 15k into mine but that's OK with me it's worth it for what I'll have which is over 500 rwhp na in a 3000 lbs 97 cobra. It's gonna be a corner carver and Rev to 8000+ this is why I can't use my stock t45 it's not gonna like those rpms. I'm gonna run a real nice rst twin disc too even though there are cheaper options. The ported gen 2 cj and cams is another few grand but it'll be crazy fast for na I want to keep it na because of its intended purpose it's gonna be a nasty corner carving drivers car that's extremely enjoyable to drive. It's not gonna be cheap but it gonna be done right. I could do a basic gen 1 mt82 for 10k easily I'd say. I'm not only upgrading alot more but going gen 2 instead of gen 1 mostly for the better high rpm capability. My build is well thought out and I know exactly what I want before hand (ideal)

yes the trans harness doesn't control anything on the manual but it does control the widebands

That is not an easy / beneficial swap. You would basically need to completely gen 2 swap everything - wiring, ecu, heads, etc

It doesn’t directly bolt on because of Direct injection
It can be ran with a big ass spacer vmp sells one I think it won't fit under stock hood though you'd need a cowl if you did that.

my concern is and no one is really talking about is that whether youre doing an old school five oh or this is the insurance on it. State farm etc. wont cover mods like this. they will give you blue book and then you're fucked. Hagerty will cover something like this but you have to have a garage and a daily driver. plus the old foxes are easily stolen. just my 0.2 if im wrong please call me out i am wanting to an 87-93 with an old 5.0 and im still doing my homework BEFORE i buy my mustang.
You can just sell the driveline or use it again if you wreck it or something. That is the main thing adding value to it anyways. Value wise far as what you can sell it for its definately more typically with a well done coyote swap. You don't mod a car based on what your insurance will cover at least I've never heard of anyone doing that and I never have.
