Let me ask the obvious, you guys have done so many Coyote swaps, why haven’t you and Dover developed a K-Member and header swap? At least if you did it everyone would know that it fits, unlike all of the other manufacturers that just hope their parts fit?
These headers work for a 1979-1993 Mustang, why wouldn't they work for a 1994-2004? I figured they would work with the newer cars because the 1996+ came with the 4.6, which is a much bigger motor (externally) than the windsor motors.
I find it so interesting how these k members work. I have a UPR K member with Polly mounts and it fit perfectly on my coyote swap but I have no idea if it’s due to them being taller or the hooker blackheart headers I didn’t need any shims or anything to raise it up? It is an 03 but I don’t think it makes a huge difference?
Great video! You guys just save anyone who watches this that is thinking about doing a Coyote swap a bunch of money and a bunch of headaches! Well done!
These are the same headers I purchased for my swap. I have seen 1 guy (street car builds) run this setup before but I have yet to buy my Upr k member. Do you know of these speed engineering headers would fit with spring perches to retain factory springs and a arms? With the 6r80 I’m going to try to use the PBH shift lever flipped up to a 85 shift rod on a AOD shifter.
I’m trying to find that out also. I have an 01 with the upr k member and the last thing I need to get now is a set of headers. If I find out I’ll reply back on this comment.
If running 6r80 or 1080r go Ultimate headers. 1399 That’s what instructions said when I bought my qa1 k member but for price probably cheaper to switch to upr😢
Don't you just love when they say this part works with this part, and you find it's not even close, that's the frustrating part, you guys made it much more user friendly.
Great video. Thanks man. But question. When selecting these headers what 02 sensor opinion should I go with. This is my first Coyote swap. I have an 11 f150 motor going into an 84 Cougar?
Thanks for sharing. Let us know how well or poorly the steering shaft works. Having run both the UPR and AJE k members on swaps, I strongly prefer the AJE although I don't like the way that the rack bolts on for them. The engine placement is just much better. Great video guys.
Anyone know the price differences in the k members? I get it the headers are alot cheaper. But was wondering on the total savings for the combo that work together
I’m doing my research to start my swap into an 88 & I wanted to tell u thank you for the time and experience that u hav put in ur videos for ppl like me. All at the amazing price of free! It means more to me than u know
These videos will save everyone so much time and headaches when ordering/installing. Good stuff 👊🏼
This is awesome of you guys!! I constantly see the same question “which header/K-member” over & over on all the forums and FB groups

Plenty of options out there already just gotta pay to play.
@@jessefrias2575 plenty of options that don’t fit. I think that’s why you don’t see these manufacturers doing install videos.
What should a coyote swap cost as far as labor ? Assuming all the parts are already purchased

Now will those headers fit a new edge with coyote swap if a guy uses UPR k member
This is what people need answered. It should in theory but would be nice to hear some real world answers.
Did you try a BMR k-member with the coyote swap?
Send that info to the heaser company , looks like they could hug the block at least another 1"1/2
if you turbo that thing would it solve the problem...or just create new ones.
Isn't there something about those hedders not working on a Gen 3 motor.

Apples and oranges. I have an 02 coyote swap with MM K member, poly mounts, no spacer and BBK long tubes. No issues at all.
Ultimate headers and UPR K member.
Do they have an option for manual trans?

I was the #666 on the likes! 😈
Curious if Team Z would work... they look pretty similar to the UPR
This. Also with ultimate headers for a 10r80e swap. Speed engineering are supposedly for 6r and 10r80 swaps.
Could this work with coyote new edge as well??
I’m trying to find that out also. I have an 01 with the upr k member and the last thing I need to get now is a set of headers. If I find out I’ll reply back on this comment.
Any idea what headers will fit on the QA1 K-Member? I haven’t been able to find anyone that have done the swap with the QA1.

Yeah ultimate header for a fox body and BMI premium k-member was perfect for my new age when a 470 w

Sounds like me rn with rod and his “amazing kook headers” gotta spend $2200 then additional $1000 for parts to make it work 😂

yo! great video! can we get an SN95 vs 96-04 spindle video?

Site now says for use with UPR k-member not MM
Thanks a ton for doing this video, saved me a bunch of time and money. I got a perfect fit!
Anyone know the price differences in the k members? I get it the headers are alot cheaper. But was wondering on the total savings for the combo that work together
Thanks for doing this video it was extremely helpful!
I don’t think the steering column would fit with those headers
What's the average cost to do a coyote swap in a foxbody?
Good Informative Video!!
Great stuff man! Appreciate you doing this
Hey guys how come you does use AJE k-members??
Will those fit with a C4 transmission?
Do a Godzilla swap on an OBS f150
🔥🔥 Awesome Info!! Thanks,
good info! Thanks!
Good knowledge brother
No Team Z?
Thank you

What is the reason stock headers cannot be used in a coyote swap?
The stock coyote headers? Because they don't fit these cars lol
What about us manual guys who aren’t running an auto?
Anyone able to chime in?
The manual is smaller than the autos so it should fit easier with a manual.
