Yes luv it’s definitely sweet and very rich, especially with the Chessmen cookies, my original banana pudding recipe is not as sweet, you might like that better, but if you make it again you can try using half of can, it might make a difference
Yes…it was not Paula Deen’s recipe. A friend of hers gave her the recipe and coined it “Not Yo Mama’s Banana Pudding.” However, Paula Deen made it popular, so everyone calls it her recipe. The only difference between the two is that Paula Deen uses the cookies first and this young lady uses pudding first. Doesn’t make a difference. I followed Deen’s way and it was a hit!! Good to see other people doing it as well.
