INGREDIENTS:
1.) 7 ripe bananas
2.) 2 boxes vanilla wafer cookies
3.) Vanilla pudding mix
4.) 2 c. milk- I used unsweetened vanilla almond milk
5.) 8 oz. cream cheese
6.) 1 can sweetened condensed milk
7.) Cool whip

Banana Pudding Is A Fav For Me Stovetop/Oven And Cold.
Coming From Georgia My Mother From Louisiana Made Hers The Way Her Mother Made It - Pudding/Custard on The Stovetop using Evaporated Milk Cooked Down With Sugar And Some Salt.
Pour On top of Wafers And Bananas. Egg White Meringue Under The Broiler Watched Until Browned Then Take Out And Set On The Counter To Eat Right Away or Wait At Least 10-15 Minutes for The Pudding To Soften The Wafers Into A Pudding Consistency.
I Just Want To Make Note About 1 Thing That Will NOT Take Away From Your Recipe But Will Make It Healthier. COOL WHIP Is Extremely Unhealthy With Many Artificial And Unpleasant Ingredients. EXPRESS TO THE MAKERS OF THE BRAND YOU WANT MORE NATURAL INGREDIENTS.
Buy HEAVY CREAM or WHIPPING CREAM And Use Your Hand-Held Blender To Whisk Until It Forms Firm Peaks or Thickens. Add Sweetener of Choice, Mix in With Spatula, And Vanilla Extract If Desire To Add On Top of Your Pudding.
Cream of Tartar Helps Meringue (Egg Whites Whisked To Firmness) To Firm And Add Flavor. TRY It 1st To See If You Will Like Cream of Tartar. It's A Desired Taste. Lemony. This Is Optional.

Only thing I would say is use large Zip Loc bags to crush. The grocery bags doesn’t seem that sanitary. Too many hands have probably touched those groceries that went into that bag😄. Oh! But that does look delicious!!😁
The “thank you” bag I used were bought from Amazon in a 1,000 pack, so they are fresh and never been used 🙌🏽

I followed this recipe to make banana pudding for my first time today. It came out perfect. Husband and my one year old loved it!
Edit: I forgot to add I only used less than half of sweet condensed milk. If you’re following this recipe keep in mind if you pour the entire can it may be entirely too sweet as the pudding and cool whip itself is already sweet but it also depends on your liking and taste. Just wanted to note that for anyone reading through the comments. Using less of sweet condensed milk was on point for my family and I!

I have seen this exact recipe all over UA-cam. The use of almond breeze which contains four almonds per half gallon and cream cheese I have seen used 20 times at least.

I make my pudding just like this minus the almond milk, vanilla milk and cream cheese. And mine is really good. I am going to try it with the extra ingredients this week. But not going to tell my husband and kids I did something different. So I can see their first expression.
