- Over the course of it’s 9 seasons, The Flash has aired 184 episodes, some of them are incredible, some of them are good and some are decent but especially in the later seasons, a lot of them are bad. In this video I’ll be ranking what I consider to be the worst of the worst, the 10 worst ever episodes of The Flash.

Honestly, Eric Wallace's terrible episodes in the later seasons made me appreciate some of the bad episodes during Seasons 4-5

At least that episode had one good thing about, drunk barry, unlike the bad episodes after which just have next to no redeeming factor, except for maybe grant Gustin and the suit, but that isn't even in half the time

Imagine directing your first episode of a TV show and its the flash. You're excited, pumped to show how you'd do an awesome episode with cool fights. Then you're told it's focused on Cecile. My heart would be shattered lol
If your talking about mascquarde, it was directed by Rachel Talalay, who has directed many epsiodes of the flash before season 7 and is a very well known director from doctor who, Supergirl, legends of tomorrow and nightmare on elm street

savitar, a speedster infinitely faster than Barry, took a whole season to defeat, was defeated by nora west-allen, the lamest speedster alive in a matter of thirty seconds. zoom, the god of darkness, the man who stole Barry’s speed was defeated by Khione, by freeze?! Godspeed looked so lame and Thawne? Almost no clash between him and barry.

No, there was an explanation and it’s called her telekinesis, the same way Jean Grey and Charles Xavier can fly, by using their powers to levitate themselves

First two. Season 3 was rough especially in the back half.

None of the 9 seasons were good, the first 3 might seem like Shakespeare by comparison but those first 3 were still absolute trash.

Season 4 is hella underrated, season 5 is when everything crashed down
Cecile has got to be the most annoying character on the show. I liked her in the early seasons when she was just a side character that would pop up every now and then, but making her one of the main characters was just such a bad move. I honestly dont know anyone who genuinely likes that character. No disrespect to the actress of course, but the writing and storyline she was given just sucks. and so does all her one liners.

As soon as she gave birth, everyone forgot about the it and there's pretty much NO MENTION of her baby at all.

When the Flash focuses on the Support Cast like Cecile,Chester,Allegra,and Khione than the Main Character,the Story felt Written by Children and Monkeys,has Useless Speeches than Fight,doesn’t have Fan Favorites,and the Special Effects are Ugly as Sin,You Know it’s Beyond Bad,Especially when Seasons 6,7,8,and 9 contains the Worst Episodes of the Series and Yeah the Good,the Bad,and the Lucky is perhaps the Worst of the Flash has ever been.
something that has always annoyed me is the fact that Barry always needs his team on the comms when he's fighting. they never show growth up to the point where he can go defeat metas on his own. nopee

Allegra was his own creation, I think Chester is as well. As far as Cecile... First option because it's the CW and there's no way Cecile would be promoted from a side character that barely appeared to a main character just like that.

All 3 characters existed before the TV show came out. 2 characters go back to before 2000. Cecile should not have been a main character and not a meta human. Sad how the fans called the season flashless

As discombobulated as this show is (and I've watched every episode), I'm glad it gave us Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon (favorite CWDCU character), and I'm always happy to watch Candice Patton (half of those reasons for Candice is... ya know 😍).
I really used to love this show but wow the showrunner has a talent for making things horrible. Now it made me think that I was a little too harsh for Seasons 4 and 5. They were actually decent and nice. Especially when The Flash punched Devoe's Satellite and XS Reversing time, I was really amazed that time.

chester was annoying during his early appearances (especially whenever he'd go "hello party people!") but he managed to come around and become more likeable. Ralph was great and it didn't feel forced the way his character development went and his progress to a main and valuable part of the team

It pains me to say it but the worst episode is probably the finale. Sure, your pick might be objectively worse as an episode, but the differing contexts change things. Good Bad and Lucky was bad, but a filler episode. The finale was the last ever episode of the show, it's quality is immediately decreased just on that alone.

Honestly, I’ve been watching this channel for a while and I’ve tried to keep my mouth shut, but this is the final straw. Cecile absolutely carried the show. Rayo de Luz's dialogues in Spanish were horrible. They sounded like the writers put a very very bad script in Google translator and used the translation. There was no cohesion between dialogues. It was painful to watch as a Spanish speaker.

You should do a ranking if the main characters
I will defend the speed force lightsabers: it's sort of like a cold war mentality weapon, when speedsters are so fast but both of them are hyper fast, they are essentially just canceling out their powers and are just wrestling, really fast. So why not wrestle really fast but with a sword. Like it makes sense, after a certain point, running doesn't become a valid fighting strategy
I would have switched Hear No Evil with the finale, but I would keep the rest the same.
Grant Literally carried the last couple of seasons
Imagine how good the flash would be if every episode from season 5-9 was just a little above average
I was sad cuz I was hoping the finale would be good but instead turned off the tv after zooms defeat
Man I am so glad I stopped watching this crap. Season 5 was the last passable season and even then, Barry looked like such a dumbass and undercut anything good going on. Somehow I hung on until the speedster lightsaber fight and the excessive use of Bart and Nora, it was clear that I was just numbing my brain at that point. So sad to see what this show became when it started SO strong.
I thought the Pide Piper episode was one of the better episodes of the Red Death ark personally, but to be fair, that’s not a very high bar

I didn't particularly like Cecile, but I preferred her over Chester and Chillblaine. They definitely lost the chemistry all the characters had in the first few seasons overall. I never believed Chester was nerdy the way Cisco was. And Chillblaine was 90% eye candy. To be clear, I don't care if they cast someone for sex appeal (male or female), but would have been nice if they made an effort to give us a decent character.
I genuinely hope Eric Wallace is never allowed to ever touch another piece of media _ever_ again.

I'm glad I stopped Arrow after season 6, but especially that I never begun with the flash series. I watched a TONS of Videos Neverthelss, and I like the First 3 seasons. Season 4 seems ok, wasted villian. After that it seems to be a goofy fan-fiction. But the finale was the cake, it is a parody.

I don’t care what anyone tries to say about the second to last episode of the show, it’s filler. Nothing substantial happens in this episode and Barry isn’t even in it for half the episode. It is 100% filler
