Wondering if you have issues with belt slipping on the alternator? BC put the same kit on my 5.0 and its been a nightmare. I've tried smaller belts, gatorback with same results. Not sure what to try next.
Thanks for your kind comment! You should give it a try! Just takes a little practice and time. Appreciate you watching. More to come for sure. Hello back to Denmark!👋
Thanks Brian. The mounts were BC Broncos' Coyote Swap Mounts. Price for the serpentine kit was 1600. The purchase was made pre covid and sat around for a while waiting for a rainy day so I'm sure prices have gone up since.
Guys, great detailed installation. was the alternator and a/c compressor new or the one from donor truck? Also have you started reviewing computer and wiring changes. I am hoping you will do videos for those items as well. I following slowing behind you with my Bronco.
Hi Darrell. Thanks for checking out the videos. The AC compressor was not out of the donor truck. Nor was the alternator. I THINK they were part of the BC kit but I would have to check. I plan on having lots of other videos coming up as well. The control pack is arriving Friday. We are doing a Gen1 F150 control pack with auto 6r80 from Power by the Hour. Hopefully things go smoothly. Happy to hear any input you have along the way for us or other viewers!
Hi. Have you ran it? I purchased the same kit for my bronco and we get it right for a few hundred miles and squealing comes back. It’s as if something is moving out of alignment. We only used the one washer on the alternator base vs. the two you mentioned in your video. Maybe the issue could be corrected there. I am inches away from buying a new serpentine kit for mine.
@@605BOLT Thought our issue was alternator alignment, but started testing the tensioner and squealing went away with more tension on the belt. Think that a new tensioner solves the issue. Thanks for the quick response.
You're so smart! Very thorough instructions. Excited to see the project come full circle.
I feel like there is sarcasm in that.
Well Done! The clearance on the alternator belt is so tight.
Thank you! It just barely threads through there.
Basically it’s going to be Basically Bad Ass!
Ya dude I'm stoked to make some progress on this rig. This winter we will be throwing some hours at it. 👍👍
Damn looking super clean 👌
Ya it does look nice.

Have not run it yet. So I'm sorry to say I can't help. Hoping to run it soon but it will be some time before it's able to be driven hard.
Did you ever get the issue figured out? Same problem.
Great video! Wish I could make content like yours on my channel, that's why I subscribed! Keep this great content up, greetings from Denmark!

Nice break down of that install. I have to do the same with a Gen 3. How much did that kit cost and can you clarify which motor mounts you used?

Lol can u imagine? Little bronco with a blower? Haha. That would be nasty 🔥
For $1,661.71 the quality doesn't seem very good.
There are a few manufacturing things I think I would like to see changed. Yes.
