Sure it takes a special skill set and it doesn’t take effort, but they’re a lot easier than working a 9-5, having managers and bosses at the same time, having to deal with coworkers, company policies, company standards, and commuting to work.

Hi Spencer. I love what you do. (Serious) day trader here. Been doing it for 4 to 5 years. Reached consistent profitability 1 year after starting. I would like to make one comment: Prop firms, in their majority do not authorize the use of what is called EA (Expert Assistant) or what the fake guru is calling trading software or whatever. Moreover, even big firms do not run one "trading softwares". They often run algos and these are right for some time and then they are tweaked, updated, changed etc. So for any gullible guy there, THERE ARE NO TRADING SOFTWARE that would make you rich. The best possible scenario is it will work for a certain period then it will stop when market conditions will change. In any case, thanks for this video, an eye opener...

Survival of the fittest has no time for nice people.

Pro day trader here, Forex trading is not easy , whether using a bot or manually. So many variables involved, experience, intuition, risk management , discipline, financial knowledge etc. Worse still most bots these gurus sell are completely bs , add to that the fact bots can't really adapt to changing market conditions well enough and that is a recipe for disaster for your portfolio. Don't ever believe anyone that tells you trading is easy and it will be on autopilot. They are selling you a lie .

  • @snakeplissken1754
    @snakeplissken1754 Рік тому +4

The thing that gets me with those gurus is the seemingly lack of common sense in nowadays society.
IF there would be a passive, easy, no risk involved, 100% guaranteed success rated way to become a millionaire, THEN why would anyone sane sell this information. If everyone is a millionaire then money will be devalued to an extend that we are back at where we started.
Wishful thinking doesn´t work in reality. There is only so much money to go around, IF you make it then someone else loses it. The hard way is to find ways to lose less then you gain, without being a jerk an exploiting other people.
Common society, you can do better then that, use that grey matter even if this means spencer would have less content to create.

Fair advice. Most forget, though, that tax rates on dividends (and all long term capital gains) is 0% for income below $88k for married filing jointly.
Just taking the standard deduction (~$25k) means a family can have total income around $120k before paying tax on those dividends.
Add the max Schedule E deduction ($25k) for real estate “losses” and that family can be straight up upper class but paying nothing.

@@jaredflurry937 You make a fair point too. In my opinion, it almost doesn’t seem worth it at that point - if you’re making under 44k~ single or 88k married, the amount of capital working for you is pretty low anyways. Not to mention that most people, once they get their first “real job” will easily clear that number and get hit with the 15% tax, even if qualified. Most REITs are non-qualified dividends too making the tax situation worse - this is all assuming they’re in a financial position that they would care about tax drag.

Does anyone remember the guru that was selling tiny little classified ads? His $20 kit actually had useful information. He went into detail about many of his failures and how he should have done things differently. He also stressed to live and die by your word. Years later he screwed up and endorsed a scam product. Instead of doing like a lot of people and hiring a legal team to try to get off He apologized for accidentally leading them into a scam then resigned from living.

    Then again it is either
    1. You believe the snake oil he's selling in which case that's on you.

The numbers are not accounting for any maintenance on those cars (which is super costly, and eats up utilization time with it being unrentable), customer damage, non-utilization (due to repairs, maintenance, no bookings, etc.), credit card chargebacks/disputes, insurance, etc.

I do run my own very niche trading account where I average roughly 8% monthly returns. Will I show you how? Heck no! The liquidity is limited and no way am I sharing it with anyone. It also means I won’t become a trillionaire by next Christmas thanks to compounding interest. I make a fine little return on the $50k I run through the program though and I love the trading business overall.
I share all that to say this: there definitely are guys with a trading system that reliably makes strong monthly returns. Are the legit ones about to sell it to you? Absolutely not. Why would I when I can just run the system myself and make all the available profits myself?

I love when EVERYONE talks about leaving their "9-5" or talking about everything leaving their "9-5" when most people they are talking about work menial jobs such as retail or the food industry. Having a fluctuating schedule every week and weekend days at all times of the day is NOT a "9-5!" Hahaha it's so so stupid. Unless you work a white collar job, chances are you check your schedule at your job (such as at Walmart) and it may be 10-7 on Monday, 3-11 on Tuesday, etc.
