- Money Laundering, International Scams, and a man behind the curtains. This is the story of Traders Domain, which started in early February with a strange text about an offshore scam.
From there things spiraled quickly out of control. Enjoy Part 1.

This video is an opinion and in no way should be construed as statements of fact. Scams, bad business opportunities, and fake gurus are subjective terms that mean different things to different people. I think someone who promises $100K/month for an upfront fee of $2K is a scam. Others would call it a Napoleon Hill pitch. - Розваги

Crazy that people will spend 100K to a stranger and THEN months later investigate the person or company.
I remember reading an investment analyst saying people will spend weeks researching which toaster to buy, but run out and buy a stock immediately because they overheard some random talking about it on the subway.
@@dingfeldersmurfalot4560 I mean researching stocks doesn't necessarily get you anywhere, the only research you need to do is to make sure it's a legitimate stock and not some scam. The rest is just luck, so basically gambling.
@@RealShaggy what about SEC filings lol...
@@RealShaggy And hopefully everyone was taught VERY early on in life that gambling is bad and kind of a scam in itself.
@Thawne Is that a serious question?
These wealthy people knew exactly what they're getting into but thought they could outsmart it. The guys dumping a couple million into this 100% knew it was a scam, but they were hoping to cash in before the rug pull. That's typically how these guys stay wealthy.
That's the sort of absurd big business conspiracy nonsense I would normally laugh at but.... I agree. I think you are right.
Right. Then when they do lose money, they can just cry and say they didn't know it was a scam.
Yep. Basically everyone in runescape who gets scammed or lured is trying to 'anti-scam'. The real scam is the scammers knowing you'll try to 'anti-scam' and being one step ahead.
That's cryptocurrency in a nutshell my dude
💯
People need to come to the realization that anyone who holds the secret to making outlandish returns has absolutely no reason to sell it to someone else
We can't all be Charles Danville
well in theory they could make a lot more money, a lot quicker, with injections of other people's money. But yes, odds are it's illegal if returns are too good to be true
UA-cam is filled with scams of this nature - that people can use algorithmic trading platforms, sit back and do nothing while the platform makes them millions. It obviously doesn't occur to the marks that if someone really had a algorithmic trading platform that did this they sure as fuck wouldn't be telling anyone else about it.
Especially if you're (supposedly) making 417000% returns in 3 years time. You don't need any financial injections. You'd be printing money.
That’s often true, but if you can make a return on investors money, you essentially get an infinite return on using other peoples money to make more.
I cannot imagine sending 500,000$ to someone without doing a LOT of research on what type of person they are.
Yeah it's bonkers how people just throw this money around. I spend days if not weeks agonising over smaller purchases and whether I absolutely need something and these people are just able to put 500k into someone based on their hyped up words alone. 🫨 Of course, I know that these scammers know just how to press these people's buttons and they abuse their ability to get a read on these folks but it's still such a wildly different reality from a lot of our lives.
They’re greedy people who thought they were going to make money from less fortunate people but instead got duped. Don’t feel bad at all

Coffee has so much more empathy than me, I have a hard time understanding how these millionaires fall to these scams. If you're going to send a million dollars to some random account, you should ask the question, "What is the product?" It's great how they all do some research after they start losing money, but that research needs to be done before you wire the million over.
This is literally why SOME millionaires are millionaires or billionaires. They just throw several million in various directions. When 1 or 2 things hit, they double, maybe even triple their money. SOME do this. A few work certain strategies that end up working out in their favor. Most just gamble with large sums of money just hoping to hook anything that cashes in.
Since the vast majority of wealth consolidated under capitalism is unearned, many rich people are actually incredibly stupid, and since they have so much money, they are inclined to claim that they got their money through ethics and abilities, and by contrast, poor people are poor because of a moral failing. They have to think this way, otherwise they must confront the reality that they're idiots with money they don't deserve. That's capitalism, baby.
