One of the best videos I've seen regarding mixing. Captions that let people know what you are doing why is incredible. Most people do not take time to do this. I hope you consider doing more like this. Thank you!

Excellent, Give us a quick run down in the description for which digico console, whats the interface...Dante, Madi, triggers?........etc. Looks like the waves plugins through sound grid...

Digico S31. Using Madi to/from stage. Dante to/from waves. No triggers ever live haha!

One doubt is that i could see the meter are shouting valume as high is it like you set you amplifier in desire value. cuz I doubt like its too lought right? normally from the PA Amp we use to drive half of the volume.

My next question is are you using a totally different workflow for your stream? I’ve checked out your churches live stream and it sounds quite different (higher quality like it’s a bethel broadcast)

The live stream is this exact same mix. Our FOH mix is the stream mix. Just with crowds added. I have 2 groups. A master bus and a stream bus. Master bus has all the inputs and fx but no crowd mic inputs. Stream has all the inputs and fx and the crowd mic inputs. The output of the master is sent to the PA. The output of the stream is sent to the video switcher.

Is there a particular reason why you chose Digico over other manufacturers? We are upgrading our console a (Midas Pro-1) to a Allen & Heath Dlive s5000, I've also compared it to a Digico Quantum 225. What are your thoughts on those two?

Digico is the most flexible as far as routing goes. It also is just a really really clean sound. All the other manufacturers color the sound to sound “nice” I think it’s also the easiest to interface with. The others have far to many layers and menus. For the big desks Digico is the best. Especially with a waves rig. You can really set it up nice.

I hate to say it but there is no “best”. Every console has it’s quirks, you just have to decide which ones you want to deal with. They all interface about the same, either with Dante, AVB, or Madi. Having mixed on every large format console out there I find my head spinning. These days none are really any superior to the other. You just have to pick which fits YOUR needs the best. I personally feel if you can’t mix it to greatness just in the console by itself it lacks. All the other stuff is just gravy on top of in some cases it ruins a mix.
