Man if they can get that S23 anywhere close in battery life to the iphone 13 (same size, smaller battery) that would be a real game changer. Hope the 8 gen2 delivers as promised and samsung doesnt mess up the software
Honestly the S23 seems like a bad deal when it costs more than Pixel 7 Pro, and that Samsung is trying to save even more on the base 128GB model with previous gen 3.1 storage... Imo this gen should have gotten a Telephoto camera upgrade and the 4.0 storage in ALL models. If that would be the case, I'd be interested in buying. They're clearly starting the Apple approach..
I'm about to get the S23 tomorrow. My A71 is messed up after just over 2 years. It's stuck in Airplane mode and now after taking it into the Verizone store to swap sims, the sim no longer connects to the phone. So instead of getting it fixed and doing without a phone for however long, I'm just gonna get a new one. I'm choosing the S23 based purely on size. It's the smallest S model in several years. I'm totally over the large phone era, after having this A71 for 2 years to really test the waters. They just feel bad in my hands. I'm glad to see that the regular S23 is damn near the same size as the S7, my previous phone before the A71.
Old shoe laces, half empty Coca-Cola bottles and grungy used baby diapers. Samsung, saving the planet, one crappy baby diaper at a time. Cheaper? Do you have any idea how hard it is to find good used diapers?
You left out one feature, dual recording is the director view. I have Note 20 that is much better than iphone 15 pro in comparison. I am thinking of getting an iphone 15. However, I compare camera spec and my note 20 5g is still better than iphone.
Uncle Spurt, would you rather buy the regular s23 or the pixel 6 pro or pixel 7 pro? The 6 pro can do 85% of what the 7 pro can. I can buy a refurbished 6 pro for about $400 in America. Is the s23 worth it do you think?
I have used pixel 7 pro and currently using Samsung s23 hands down Samsung s23 is better , snapdragon 8 gen 2 is really good. The screen is fantastic,One UI is extremely customisable and has dex as well plus rn they are giving 256gb model for the price of 128gb along with some bank offers it's really good deal, pixel 7 pro doesn't hold a candle against this, it might be worth to you if you absolutely want stock Android and some AI features but IMO they are really not that important.
Hi Chris, finally the review I've been waiting for. Please help. I am at the end of my 6-years long journey with my beloved Oneplus 5 and urgently pick one of those: OnePlus11 or S23+ (regardless of their prices) Please advice. Thanks a million.
I was in a similar position as you last week. I was also a loyal oneplus customer looking to upgrade, and I picked the S23+. In terms of Hardware and price the Oneplus slightly edges out the Samsung phone (except for wireless charging), but the reason I chose Samsung is because oneplus has become really unreliable over the last few years for their software and support, and there's no way to know how it's going be going forward.
@@DarthSidious7 that’s totally been my thinking that I don’t know how reliable Oneplus is going to be in the future I’ve had the 1+6,9+7 pro but I ended up getting a Samsung S 23 because you know Samsung is going to have to do software updates and security patches in the coming years but one plus they’ve been all over the board even though they made a great phone with a 1+11. I wonder about future updates.
@@DarthSidious7 Thanks for your comment. How is full hd res on S23+'s big screen? I worry it wouldn't be crisp enough. Are you able to tell it is less crisp or is it not detectable at all?

I think Samsung have perfected the whole line at this stage, the s24 renders look too much like the iPhone. Keep some design originality! I want to upgrade my a54 to the s23. Fuck the exynos shit chip.
The only difference between the two is storage option which is only 256gb only for s23 and up to 512gb for the s23 plus which is why they removed the micro sd card same goes for the ultra which can go to 1T. Its a shame since 256gb is already small in todays time specially apps getting bigger and bigger every update I remember COD Mobile is only 1gb in 2019 now its already 20gb.
@@7ish4m So ridiculous.. US should've gotten the 512 GB S23. If we do actually get it here in the US, I'll probably get it instead of the Ultra or the Plus.
There’s no point of getting their plus model in my opinion, if you’re any something bigger then just get an ultra model the price isn’t much expensive than plus model
All good options. ZenFone's camera is probably slightly weaker than those other two, but it also comes with a headphone jack which the other two don't. I'd pick whichever is best value for money which the amount of storage you need.
I'm coming from an s20fe. I'm wondering if I should get the S23 or the S23+. Ultra is too expensive and bigger than I'd like. I know the 23 is a tad smaller and the 23+ is a tad bigger than my current phone. Which one should I get?!

And it has headphone jack
@@boukimagash2083 yes, for those who likes that. :)
I would buy the s23 standard in a second if it was 600€
I thought you would show us battery usage in setting for both phone
I've had a few Samsung Galaxy phones in my day and if i were to pick one of the S23 models it'd be the S24 ➕️
I think the comparisons should be done after the phones have been loaded upto brim with apps or games so that they can compare the speed tests
Agreed.
I have the download, install, and download more disease. I need each app for something but later can't really remember why.
Onr of them needs to be a 6.3" display....thats the sweet spot
exactly my thoughts. a shame that only the FE version hits this sweet spot!
I'm watching this waiting to pick up my 23+ tomorrow 😂
Sir, may i ask where you get those anime wallpapers? Like a specific app providing them? I think it's really cool, cute and fancy looking 🐱
Man if they can get that S23 anywhere close in battery life to the iphone 13 (same size, smaller battery) that would be a real game changer. Hope the 8 gen2 delivers as promised and samsung doesnt mess up the software
Some battery tests shown that the s23 is pretty much on par with the iphone 13 and 14 (iphone 14 might be better sometimes but thats by 10-20 minutes)
No, you're never "saving the planet by upgrading"
Samsung are paying £290 for my P30 Pro so I've gone with the S23+. My Huawei is amazing so it'll be interesting to see how it compares.
I use a p30 Pro too, I love it. Just looking to upgrade now after ages. My screen is cracked but I'm reluctant to get a new phone
Did you ever end up getting the Samsung then? Any thoughts so far?
So the s23 & s23+ exactly the same apart from the screen size and battery. I have got the 14 pro max so should I go for the 23 or 23+
Is it worth buying the s23 or is it a good time to buy an s22?
S23 all the way
S22 has a kinda bad battery
S22 has a kinda bad battery
Nice review Mr. Ten Hag
Sir...
Which wallpaper is applied on G23...
Its looks good
I just ordered the plus, so excited. Thanks for this video!
If they're using recyclable items shouldn't the phones be cheaper? 🤨
Old shoe laces, half empty Coca-Cola bottles and grungy used baby diapers. Samsung, saving the planet, one crappy baby diaper at a time.
Cheaper? Do you have any idea how hard it is to find good used diapers?
Great review uncle spurt! I'm thinking of upgrading my exynos S21 to this S23 but it's kinda pricey so I might hold on to it till it drops a little 😅
thx for not saying which side is which phone, leaving some of us non-mind-readers utterly confused.
You left out one feature, dual recording is the director view. I have Note 20 that is much better than iphone 15 pro in comparison. I am thinking of getting an iphone 15. However, I compare camera spec and my note 20 5g is still better than iphone.
Is the s23 too small for those who have big hand?
You should change your wallpaper. It's look cheaper... 😊
Ohh damn that suzuno wallpaper😍😍😍😍
Great video. One question, is this s23 plus ideal for Uber eat delivery? I mean will this work really well on map, etc?
Ah best girl at 1:06 from Demon King McDonald's anime.
Where do you get your anime wallpapers?
Pinterest , maybe ....
I have the Pixel 7 Pro. It's been ok. A little buggy at times. Screen even went black twice. Should I get the S23 or the plus?
@@vincentd8506 I would recommend wait for the S24.
pixel 6 and 7 pro are kinda underspecced in the performance department compared to s23.
if you want cameras then go pixel. but pixel soc is terrible
Hi Chris, finally the review I've been waiting for.
Please help. I am at the end of my 6-years long journey with my beloved Oneplus 5 and urgently pick one of those: OnePlus11 or S23+ (regardless of their prices)
Please advice. Thanks a million.
S23 + is way better than the OnePlus 11. U can watch some comparison videos here on UA-cam in order to understand the differences.
Both perfectly good options and imo much of a muchness. Pick the one that's best value for money with the amount of storage you need.
Are you able to tell it is less crisp or is it not detectable at all?
thank you I'm not sure if I should do the s24+ I was just about to buy then I came up on your reviews I could save quite a bit now with new s23 that are still available
Great video! I just want the 100X zoom,is it worth get the ultra just for that?
max zoom here is 30x. i have the s22+ with same cameras and anything over 10x isnt really usable
@@secret1dentity thanks.
Blowers blowers blowers.... that's all i heard
I've been using the 13 pro max for a few years now, recently upgraded to the s23+. Is it worth it?
From where you get these wallpapers 🥺
I think Samsung have perfected the whole line at this stage, the s24 renders look too much like the iPhone. Keep some design originality! I want to upgrade my a54 to the s23. Fuck the exynos shit chip.
If you're wondering about the wallpaper, it's Suzuno from "Devil is a part timer "
thanks!
got the s23 ultra. love it. thing is with samsung they lose their value fast. selling them is a pain in the arse.
Where do you find you wallpapers, is it a App or some particular site?
Need advice. S23 or Vivo X80 Pro? Thanks ❤️
Just FYI, the Base S23 is available in 512 GB in some regions (South Korea, China, Hong Kong etc)
@@7ish4m So ridiculous.. US should've gotten the 512 GB S23. If we do actually get it here in the US, I'll probably get it instead of the Ultra or the Plus.
Also s23 has sightly bigger bezels
Excellent comparison video.
There’s no point of getting their plus model in my opinion, if you’re any something bigger then just get an ultra model the price isn’t much expensive than plus model
Next time I upgrade I may go for the Plus version instead of the Ultra one. I'll miss the curved screen but I find the Ultra models too heavy.
Curved screens are gay
But.. I think that Samsung is jumping on the " Price- hike- BANDWAGON" £900 FOR A BASIC AND OVER £1500 FOR THE ULTRA??? Hmmmm
Bought s23 plus today. Even though I have been android user first time with samsung.
Again. Google Tensor chip or Snapdragon s2 or Samsungs own
Which one would you suggest, please?
S23 -- ZenFone 9 -- Xiaomi 13
S23 5 year sorfware. Zen only 2 years 🤦
Xiaomi reliability issues
All good options. ZenFone's camera is probably slightly weaker than those other two, but it also comes with a headphone jack which the other two don't. I'd pick whichever is best value for money which the amount of storage you need.
Imo stay with Samsung. More reliable and longer sorfware support.. 👍
I am mostly afraid of battery life of s23
I want this phone so badly unfortunately i have redmi 9a but still i am grateful, I WANT THIS SAMSUNG S23+❤
Amazing unboxing and video comprising as always bro
I'm coming from an s20fe. I'm wondering if I should get the S23 or the S23+. Ultra is too expensive and bigger than I'd like. I know the 23 is a tad smaller and the 23+ is a tad bigger than my current phone. Which one should I get?!
