Watching this on my brand new Galaxy S23 Ultra. I really like this phone! Everything from the 1440p display to the awesome camera system is so worth the money. I thought about getting an S23 Plus, since it's still relatively large, but I decided to go with the Ultra at the end of the day. The regular S23 is way to small for me. Great video, Wade!
I'm really liking the standard s23 and I'm highly considering it for my next phone as I don't want another big phone. Hopefully I waited long enough for this to be considered a good upgrade from my note 10 plus.
Very nice video. It's always helpful to do side-by-side comparisons. I bought a 23+ and can't wait. I moved away from Samsung when they were blowing up and moved to LG, but since LG quit making phones I bought a Google 6 and can't stand it. Your video was crisp and informative.
Have the same phone. The SD card is definitely a must have for me. I have a lot of photos and videos from other phones in my sd card, and to be able to move all of them in less than 30 sec it's just so convenient.
after paying my 21fe in full, I traded in for the + model, and it was absolutely worth every penny.... I tried the ultra in the store, but it felt uncomfortable, even with my large sized hands... It was an upgrade in almost every sense... especially with the faster charging and larger 256 storage space, plus battery life is 1.5/2 times better.
I don't really understand Samsung on the case of battery because the budget phones(A series phones) almost all have 5000mAh but here is the normal S23 with only 3900mAh😢
I like the phone reviews here but, you most definitely need to change your music sample when demonstrating the speakers. It is tinny and grating on the ear.
Regular S23 should be the standard phone everyone's hands are different and I think the regular s23 is perfect it's not too small and not too big the only
Hey, thanks for the comparison not to be a downer but you know my galaxy S 20+ comes with a UHD screen so that’s 1440,also SD card support, 12 gb ram and 5000 battery in for important ways it’s better than the new S 23+… the new processor will be better and the cameras are better but the S 20+ seems plenty fast and it still takes great pictures in a lot of ways the S 23+ would be a downgrade from the S 20+ and I like Samsung phones, but in a funny way, they’re not as good as they used to be
I have the s20 and want to upgrade. Does the screen have less viewing when watching UA-cam in landscape mode on the s23? S20 seems to have about 1cm both sides blacked out (unlike full screen in Netflix), and so as s23 is slightly smaller than s20 just wondering if viewing will be even smaller, or does it cover the full screen in youtube?
There should be plastic. Most people cover their phone with a case rendering what ever fancy back it has pointless. Plastic is resilient doesn't shatter is cheap and lightweight. Why would you put glass on something your likely to drop?
after watching this, i am still content on my a73, for me the proc spec is still way too overkill for my usage and the camera is only tad better on image quality
Dose not matter if it plastic …. It just puts the price up but it’s not making phone work any better. And does not matter how good are cameras even Samsung a 5 dose good photos
I don't like that the s23+ is $999 itself, basically a $799 phone, which is overpriced. The s23 should be $699, and the s23+ should be $799. For $999, I don't like what they are offering, and we should have the best of the best. I don't like that they are dumbing down the display, the cameras, the battery and overall giving us a dumbed down phone for basically flagship price, for $999 I'd want the s23+ to be the best s line up phone basically everything the s23 ultra is minus the note features and the note design and give us the traditional s ultra a direct successor to the s21 ultra being the last best s phone but without spen support since we already have the s23 ultra. Either they should lower the price or give us 4 models the s23 for $699 s23+ for $799 s23 ultra for $999 and the s23 note for $1099 like they should make 2 ultra model one being the s ultra and one being the note.
I am glad you are back! Looking forward to your review on the Ultra model and any future dedicated camera comparisons that you'll be doing with any of the S23 Series..

@Sir Joke Wither I currently have an s22 plus and am looking at in-depth reviews. I obviously can't say anything accurately because I don't have one. The battery life, cpu and gpu are all significantly improved even from my phone.

Trust me, it is noticible upgrade from S22, you wont regret it, im using regular S23 for week now, its a perfect small phone finally
You won't regret it. After 3 1/2 years with my note 10+ I decided to upgrade. I'm glad I did
Im in the same situation rn. I have the note 10 and im considering the s23 over s23plus. Even though its lacking the 45w of charging.
It would be a great upgrade
This is my favorite design that samsung ever made with they're phones, front and back. I hope they never change it😅
S24 will have under display front camera. LET'S WAIT
@@zunchen9461 This is one change I'm ok with😅

can't wait for my lavender s23+ to arrive !!
Why would anyone lie about their color preference?

Glad to see someone doing a review on the non-ultra version of the phone. Thanks Wade
Welcome back! I've been waiting for you to get your hands on these. Well worth it.
Thanks! More videos coming soon 👍
I think there’s dust on the camera you use to film this. Either on the lens or on the sensor.

Which colour?? I bought the lavender one
I must say that plus looks very appealing in the olive color
Having no SD card in a flagship is a dealbreaker for me. I'm keeping my s20 fe for the foreseeable future

I agree with this 💯... I won't change my s20 fe 5g when it is totally dead 😅
Can't wait for Samsung to release this year's mid-rangers, the A34 5G in particular. And I can't wait for Wade to get his hands on them 😁👍

I'm trying to decide between the s23 and the s23 plus what one do you recommend and why
Regular s23 for me. I came from S10 plus and it's refreshing to have a compact phone. Perfect size for me I think.
Thank god there’s no curved screen. It’s an annoying feature glad they get rid of it
Could you do a battery drain test for these 2 phones? Maybe against the base iPhone 14 or something too
Regular S23 should be the standard phone everyone's hands are different and I think the regular s23 is perfect it's not too small and not too big the only
Nice review of the Samsung S23, this is a beautiful phone but I don't like the fact that the phone doesn't have an SD card slot.
Are these two phone's bezels and chin the same size?
I have an S10e. Given the minor upgrades of the S23, is it worth upgrading to an S23?
Yes from 10e

I've seen a few videos now with the 23 and I see screen flicker.
This could be an issue for someone who has vertigo or some eye/neuro issues

Love the unboxing! ❤
How much does the regular S23 cost
im try to decide if to leave ios to samsung for s23+ or iphone 14 plus
Whatever you do, do NOT get the 14+. S23+ is a great option but if you decide to stick to iOS go with the 13pm/14pm
Thanks for the video i was thinking of getting the new s23 but wantet to know the difference between s23 and s23+ but i'ma fo with the s23 i think

wish all 3 models had the flat edges. Hate the note design, feels like shit in the hands.

Me, too. It doesn't look like an upgrade. I'll stay with my S21 unless the battery starts giving me issues
Great video. I haven't upgraded my phone in quite a few years so I'm a bit scared this phone will be too much for my brain to handle lol

i'm i the only one who think that the bezels are a little to big for a 1000$ phone?
I agree but they’re still pretty thin compared to iPhone bezels
S23 have 425ppi
S23+ have only 393ppi and much pricer
